  10. Uh I've been a PC gamer since I was like 7 years old dude, it's more like just giving up on Consoles again, lol.
  11. Anyone here have or know someone local who has a Leo Bodnar Lag Tester or any equivalent device? I could really use something to reliably test the lag results I'm getting here. I got an HDFury Nano and I'm pretty sure the fucking thing has significant lag, I can visually see the difference between running my PC straight through VGA and running HDMI -> HDF Nano. It could be my shitty ass video card, but I tested it with another laptop and got similar results. I think I just need to say 'fuck it' to Console gaming completely at the rate I'm going.

  14. Is there literally ANYTHING on the PS4? Or even planned for it?? I mean, actual exclusives, not shit that I can buy for cheaper and better on my PC. I can't use my PS3 on the TV and I sure as hell don't want to buy a PS4 and a new stick just for Xrd. Sigh.

Mentioned this in a different thread I guess, but the biggest thing that they should do is improve his new moves to be a lot better. 6K needs more forward velocity (not less startup though) to make it a more reliable pressure and combo tool, as right now you can only use it when you're super close due to the massive pushback in this game plus the slow movement of 6K. This would also specicially really help him with mid-screen combos which are really pretty terrible for him right now. Trisula I really have no idea about, it's a move that sounds pretty good on paper: another upperbody invincible option that also beats projectiles, which could in theory be quite good against certain mixups and characters. I think the problem here is the horizontal hitbox is too small to make it all that useful, plus you only get a combo (and not a great one) on CH as far as I know. Does he really need this move at all? Maybe they could give it vaccuum on block and a taller hitbox so you could use it as a 'pull down' move against jumpers? Or they could increase the horizontal range to make it more useful as a ground poke? I don't really know. ICMP is pretty obvious. Startup being pretty slow and the hitbox is such that it's hard to land it even after j.HS unless you are deep. Make the startup faster and/or start moving forward quicker/sooner so it's easier to hit with. Maybe make it fast enough to combo off j.S, it would be really good if you could just do normal air combos like j.P j.K j.S ICPM. Considering the damage is bad and the knockdown not very good, that shouldn't be too big of a deal. Heat Knuckle is obvious, bring back something on the non-extend version. Hard knockdown drop, or more meter gain (but not both though, lest we end up with AC again). Something. Buster needs more range. Not much more you need to say about that. I get why they reduced it, but I think they went too far. Hammerfall YRC PB is super scary, and PB YRC is pretty sweet, but Buster's range and damage are just anemic. You can't really use it to punish unsafe things well anymore. I'm not saying to bring it back to the original range, but a little more would be good to help compensate for the increased pushback. 5P needs more hitstun vs air. Right now the move is pretty bad since you need an AA CH to get a combo from it, and it's worthless as a ground poke now. If they aren't going to make it a good ground poke again, it should at least be good for something. Being able to do 5P 2S 6K as an anti-backdash OS would be pretty rad. Anyway, I think those are all pretty reasonable answers. Obviously they want to try something new for him this game so that's why I'd put piority on buffing his new moves. It's ArcSys though, so who knows what kinds of things they will even do for/to him next version. If I were going really hog wild, I would turn Trisula into a charge up move. Make him like Kazuki Kazama, stock up on fire orb charges to spend on his other moves. FDB gets a free shot without reflecting a projectile, Heat Extend gets extra explosions/damage, Slidehead gets geisers like GG1, and so on, it'd be silly and fun and pretty unique for a grappler.

I think they're pretty obviously trying something new with Potemkin this go around, so I'd be fine with 2S Vaccuum not coming back. 6K was supposed to be the effective replacement for it, but unfortunately it's got too poor of a horizontal velocity to make it work most of the time. The slow startup, with the slow horizontal speed, with the increase in pushback this game, really makes it near impossible to use as a mid-screen pressure tool. Improving 6K forward velocity would make it so you can get combos/pressure with it at mid screen more reliably, but not effect his corner combos with it (which are already totally good). Heat Knuckle definitely needs something on the non-extend. I honestly am surprised they went back to the way it used to be for no reason, they finally got it right in ACPR. +Frames on 6K are not really controlled by 6K, they're controlled by Hammerbreak because you always 6K -> Hammerbreak on block. Thus to improve this move's SD, you'd need to either reduce the duration of Hammerbreak (yikes?), or increase the blockstun of 6K (which is already Level 5). I don't think this is really an issue at all though, it's already +3 or so SD. Absolutely agree about Trisula and ICPM. I think these are two moves Arc really need to give some love, they both seem Not Good. Trisula is a move that sound GREAT in theory. It's got a ton of upper body invincibility, and is projectile invincible, and has a huge vertical hitbox. You can even get an okay combo off it on CH sometimes. Unfortunately, the untech time is pretty horrible on regular hit, and the hitbox on it is bad. The move probably needs the horizontal range extended, and the untech time increased. If you could even do Trisula -> Heat or HPB reliably, that'd be pretty good. ICPM can combo from j.H from other setups than those you mentioned ... in theory. The problem is that the startup is slow, AND the hitbox is strange, so even in situations where you have enough frames to connect with it, the move just won't because the hitbox takes time to reach them. You could help fix this by having Potemkin start moving forward immediately on startup, or you could just decrease the startup, which would probably let you combo it off j.S as well which is totally cool. Increasing the YRC window would be nice too since it's strange that it's so short anyway. Also give PB more range. :I
  20. Yeah it was cheaper when up for pre-order. Before we got the Universe release on Steam the cost was close to $200 though, so this is at least a huge improvement. Indie Devs.

  22. 6K itself is not safe but you can cancel it to Hammerbreak and then it's what, +4 on block or so? Edit: Beaten, didn't even see there was another page :I
