  1. Yea I am changing the tournament to a 1on1 now, it'll be held on the 8th of January 2011. You toronto niggas are on another level from us in montreal, I hope to get some casuals with your haku so I can level up. If all goes well I'll have a stick by then.

  2. Too many sand niggas in brampton, went to go play ball at a park near my aunts house once and I've never seen so many brown people in one area. And I have tons of Sri Lankan friends.
  3. Are you going to tell me through the internet to my face that you guys don't think your closer to being cool and american than the rest of canada? Only kinda, you guys got drake. We only got MUGZ for now. Search "Toxic Love" if you don't knwo him, my nigga at iNotch produced the beat.
  4. What's good with my "pseudo-americans" Canadians?
  5. Yea, my netplay ability is shit, sorry for that. I mainly do offline play in cs now, since I created a community. You got yourself a solid tager, but lag keeps me from doing reactional counters, you're slightly predictable, avoid using 2d on haku. Oh and that overhead was 3 stars btw.

  6. Did you find anything, because I didn't find anything with regards to montreal/Quebec when I used the site's search engine.

  7. I would also like to nominate ryokoalways for a blazblue award. He is very helpful to the hakumen threads, by providing advance tactics, and feedback by watching our fights. He would also make a great co-mod if need be (at least for the hakumen forums).
  8. I might find it useful personally, the second best player in my city is a hazama player, I just can't seem to get past him honestly. Mainly since he simply out plays me, but I also need to work on the match up and against him. Because we have another hazama player which I beat at least 3 out of 5 matches. If you could upload one of your matches and if I really don't think it will be beneficial to me I won't ask you again. Thanks.
  9. Good shit ryoko. If we ever need a co-mod it would be you. Also, you try to get vids of yourself like you did in ct.
  10. Ragna was drawn based off his ct character art. Did you go to MTLSFHQ?
  11. Well in GG/BB you need to learn to be creative, mix it up from 6a CH>grab/3c/tsubaki, that way they are honest once they recover and don't know what to expect. My tsubaki is almost never blocked, I can count the times it's been block (3-5 times lol). 6a 4c CH gives haku a lot of options since the opponent has to be careful of mashing too much to recovery giving them another CH state, or getting a throw reject miss. You have a lot of options in those CH states. Oh and 2a to make them recover from the CH state, maybe another 2a to keep them honest, followed by a tk/hop tsubaki, if they still mash, hotaru their ass.

  12. Yes, glad you mentionned the empty tsubaki, it a) shouldn't be used that high in the air and so often 2) you need to learn to hit/block confirm to keep them from moving before you go for it. Just firing it away and wasting 3 stars is nowhere to go to win a match, I use one or two 2a's before I think of going for a tk tsubaki. Here is the post I was talking about with spark's block strings: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?8957-CS-Hakumen-Guide&p=638536&viewfull=1#post638536 Ryoko said 5c as an ender because it allows for greater mix up in the corner. If you even check tenchi's latest matches on gameacho's youtube account you'll see he always ends corner combos with 5c for those reasons mentionned above. 3c as ender does minimal damage and leaves you in a recovery state allowing you opponent to jump out of the corner (correct me if I'm wrong).
  13. I'm about to make a post, give me 5 minutes. ryoko mentioned some things I forgot to. That may be useful but you have to be careful of timing with that tk, since they may get autoguard from recovery and that'll be a waste of 3 stars, safer to 6b. Tk tsubaki is mainly used by me after a block/hit confirm of one or two 2a's then followed by tsubaki, i would suggest you do 6a>2a (to either make them recover and to hit/block confirm) THEN go for a tk tsubaki.

  14. Check sparks block strings, all the 2 gatling block strings can constantly lead to each other and can cancel into counters, in case your opponent is too impatient. Ex: 2a>6a 2a>6b 5a>6a, if I am correct you could substitute 2a for 2b, but I seldomly use 2b (out of bad habit since it's safe). Both 6a and 6b can cancel into counters (including yukikaze and akumetsu fyi), very useful against bang if you know how to react against autoguard.

  15. I watched the valk fight. Ryoko and nolan started making me feel bad for not helping others lol. Ok nolan, work on your hit confirm, there was like one or two CH 5c's you landed that could've linked to kishuu>enma. I'm under the assumption against that valk you were especially nervous, but even the few minutes I watched you play vice taicho you were jd'in and 5d'in every 15-20 seconds. Word of advice, if you don't even know where your opponent attack is coming from, why would you try to counter it? You need to lay off counters, and block more, if your opponent block strings are stressing you out (online ofcourse) barrier block to push them back and give you space, and watch out for grabs. Your spacing for 4c wasn't good and it led to a lot of CH's from what I saw, check sparks input on valk v.s haku. You'll see he mentions to avoid 4c especially if it's not at max range which, when you did it, it wasn't. 4c is not to your advantage against very mobile characters like valk/tao/(imo)hazama. The first two can easily get into your face and make you eat a CH combo, which, is the worst thing against valk (7k+). On wake up instead of going for counters, learn to use tk hotaru, much safer, much more reward, and still threatening even on block. I also noticed you're trying to use spark/tenchi's j2c very low to the ground, it's only useful (especially on characters with solid AA's) when you jump cancel it. Thus making it very close to the ground, you're doing it too high, giving valk enough time to either AA you or trade, either or leads to you eating another CH combo. Finally try to be more observant. In the last round of the first fight against valk, he burst TWICE in one round, punish him for that. Make him respect haku's guard breaking abilities, there were about two points where you could have gone for a 6c or maybe frame trap him into a 6b. Don't get it twisted, make sure to not go out of your way to guard break, I've seen a lot of people get hasty to do so and lose the round/match instead. Another thing you need to work on even when we have played, improve on your close range pressure and punish mashing when they try to get out of haku's frame traps. Be sure to use jc low to the ground like I showed you, contrary to popular belief jc close to the ground is THE most effective zoning tool, does more damage that 4c, has almost as much range as 4c, 5 frames or so faster than 4c, and much more difficult to close in on haku (either by air or ground) than 4c.
  16. Not going to analyze this video in the valkenhayn thread, if you want a critique nolan you of all people should know this should be posted in the hakumen thread. Anyways, I'll post my thoughts there.
  17. Here is the first draft of the Montreal poster version one of the poster. Tell me what you guys think of it. I had to increase the contrast because she drew it very light in case she had to make any major changes.
  18. Isn't that the day of t11.5?
  19. I'll message him sunday. I want to hear the MTLBB communities input on having a 2on2 at nemesis first, before I message him. Sounds good?

  20. On the 8th or 15-16th? Maybe they changed the date.

  21. I honestly find character switches lame. I mean why can't you stick with you main?
  22. Some niggas is salty about pronunciation, so make sure to accentuate the "uhh" in nigga. lol @ research and wiki
