  1. ACR is a downgrade. Slayer tends to be weaker with average damage output. Unless he has explosive damage to blow you up from minor mistakes, he tends to be weak. But Xrd Slayer looks decent so far, especially in Kubo's hands.
  2. Speaking of which, I haven't seen any prominent Chipp players at all. I know Endou has a fairly high RR, but I haven't seen Samitto at all. Is he still calling it Xturd or does he like the game?
  3. Ain in his matches against Mugen and Roi has pretty much been doing all the stuff I was wondering. Also 6hs>236d>2d>dc sacred edge looks like it can only be followed up in the corner from my guess since dc sacred edge wallpins. But it comes out terrifyingly fast.

  6. After watching Ain's sets with Roi and Mugen, Kudakero: Vertical Riot Stamp Ver. 2.0. This move REALLY enhances Sol's footsie/rushdown game as it allows him to have more options for approaching. But ti's clearly not an abusable move, as it can be air grabbed mid flight, or IB'ed and punished. either or positioning it correctly can make it fairly difficult to AA from what I can see and it's overall a safer way of getting in even if it doesn't lead to immense damage. From what I saw it looks like you can IB it in the air and grab Sol upon landing, kinda like how you can do that against BB. The move still looks dope and causes IMMENSE chip damage in DI form, it's ridiculous lol.
  7. Does this character look that low tier, kubo seems to be bodying people extensively. But at the same time I haven't seen much Slayer players in Xrd
  8. The Xbox 360 is *the sole survivor* of these stage issues. It never had them, though granted I haven't tested to stages after I downloaded the ACR patch, but I doubt there'd be any issue. It's the leader boards that the issue on the 360, not the stages. @9tnine, that's interesting, I never looked at it that way because unlike PC's I always assumed pretty much any console in a product line were all the same, I would've never imagined that the same game could affect different consoles of the same model. Also Kliff makes me a sad panda, I secretly hope he doesn't make it to Xrd still...

  11. Wait you main Slayer but sub Kliff? And where do you live? I rather not have lag put me *under pressure* to perform EDIT: AD 2172 and ABA Slash stage still freeze on the ps3 version, it just takes longer for them to freeze now This makes me very sad...
  12. For anyone who cares, works in Canada too. @kingofhearts, it's about the same, but I only played VR Raiden so far. It's pretty playable honestly, could be better, but nevertheless playable. What you did there, I see it.
  13. @qwerty: This is a 5d combo in/near the corner that allows for a 5d>66 5d>66>6hs>2d>dc sacred edge>stuff 5d>66>6hs>6hs>2d>dc scared edge>stuff 5d>66>6hs>CSE>YRC>stuff 5d>66>6hs>6hs>dc stun edge>stuff "Stuff" is just see however you can optimally end the combos, I just want to see if the starting part is possible These are just combos in my head, I'm certain it's possible to make optimal use of DC after a 66 follow up in the corner. Also qwerty, what are you thoughts on DC as a whole so far in the game, do you see it as helping Ky overall in his screen control/mid ranged/all around play style, could you see it helping him in his more unfavorable matchups like Venom and Axl? I know it's early in the game's life cycle, but I'd like to get your early thoughts. EDIT: Corner pressure setup, requires 25%, after finishing a combo in the corner go for Split Ciel, then YRC a CSE immediately, the slow down should allow you to see what your opponent is doing, maybe allow for a possible air grab into the DC CSE below them, if it is too slow or costly of a set up is it possible to transform a CSE in it's process of already forcing the opponent to guard, or does CSE disappear too fast to get a grinder enhancement from Split Ciel? If neither are possible then fooling around the DC stun edge after a Split Ciel could be possible, though clearly nowhere near as a strong as an oki tool as 6hs.

No it's too risky to do so, you're better off doing wake up Yukikaze if anything, wasting all 8 stars on a guess leaves you too vulnerable especially since Akumetsu doesn't catch projectiles/puppets. That's the purpose of Yukikaze in CP not at least, since wake up Zanshin is dangerous and not a guaranteed reversal anymore.
  15. I've seen fafnir>YRC>wild throw if that's any help. It beat a BS on top of that.
  16. I assumed BB would be nullified due to the presence of BS, but I'm surprised about Fafnir being nullified. Can't you only use BS while out of block stun? So are you using raw Fafnir or using it in block strings?
  17. It seems that Daisuke did a good job on remodelling and rebalancing everyone with fresh new tools on the entire cast, except Potemkin lol.

  19. Random note, after seeing both Ain and Machaboo play Ky, I can say with absolute certainty that the Ky player I caught a glimpse of and that everyone else saw was neither Ain nor Machaboo. He plays entirely differently from them and makes use of all of Ky's new tools optimally, which neither of the former players have been able to do as of yet (probably because they don't need to). That Ky player didn't show a exceptionally strong defense/offense nor strong air grab like Machaboo, neither did he play hard negative like Ain. Only guess now would be Hayashi, since Hayashi always does fancy-pants-combos. There's a Ky player who has the 75th highest RR that goes by GG Player, who knows, it could be him. Also Hayashi is now higher than Machaboo in RR?! I really wanna see Eki-chan's Millia tech though. Doesn't he attend Mikado from time to time?
  20. Do it too often and you'll get baited and bodied, Machaboo does 66>6hs on oki, if you do it too often people will bait you/grab you and body you for it. Like what Satsu said.
  21. Why doesn't Ogawa (at least against Machaboo) use Drunkard Shade to reflect Ky's projectiles like how BOB did?

  24. WHAT A MAN!!!! Thanks! Yeah I just watched the first one 14:35 during Part 1: WT>RC>IK, wow I was surprised seeing that... I also never thought of BB>Fafnir on or near the corner, and riot stomp might be an answer to Axl's full screen stance.
  25. My reaction to the Pure vs 623 pt. 1 @ 14:35: I never thought IK's could be setup that way, I wonder if the other cast members could setup IK's like that as a means of shutting down the opponents ability to burst.
