From my understanding YRC's are signficantly easier to perform than FRC's, so yes it makes sense for that to happen. ACR just made GG even more complex to get into for new players, with even more FRC's to master, which they did in the name of rebalancing the game. -
I would also like to know what's written for Ky/Sol. In that order.

@TheRealBobMan Oh yeah, I forgot about he negative penalty that comes with going backwards ever so slightly. I love how you used the words "unconventional" and "silly" when you really just mean *fraudulent* lol. I'm kinda hyped and worried that Heavy Day plays when Sol enters DI, is this still the case? Because I could grow to hate that song over time if it were still true. -

Thanks for your own personal input on DI Elven, what are your thoughts on Sol this time around. I found the changes they made to Ky, what with the grinders and 236d, really gave him what he always needed in terms of screen control. But Sol has always struggled to get in on both highly mobile characters like Millia and characters with strong screen control, like Axl/Venom. How is Sol looking this time around based off your exp playing a skilled Sol player like NOB? -

Getting a fraud comeback via DI makes me want to hit my opponent with a car and cut my wrists vertically. I doubt that, I can see some of the designs of Ragna are bleeding into Sol, like Kudakero is sounding not only like a divekick (which it clearly is) but also similar to Belial Edge, since you can clearly AA both, but I'm guess (outside of DI due to the massive explosion) it's made to be a combo extender, particularly int he corner. I see DI becoming just as useful as BK throughout the BB iterations for Ragna. What with Tyrant Rave becoming hella strong in DI, along with the buffs he gets to all of his special moves this time around, and the fact that he's less gimmicky overall. Not a bad post but it's better for that to go in the AC forum since that has a higher chance of getting on steam than Xrd. I don't know why people want Isuka so bad of all GG iterations. But this doesn't necessarily have to do with Xrd. ... What he said. *Forum mind games and high level posts* Glad I answered your question though. What??? If you're referring to why Sol gets knocked out of DI when sweeped, that's because it is a poorly designed power-up super, and it lasts longer the less health he has so they had to give it some glaring weakness. If you're asking why DI is made fun of on the wiki, that's because it's a poorly designed power up super that usually leads to your tragic death even when you're ont eh verge of victory, but you might occasionally get a fraudulent victory comeback. Anyways thanks for the DI info Elven. Looks like we'll be seeing more than 012 use DI now. -

Elven are there any top Ky players where you are like Rozu, Machaboo, Ain, or Hayashi? I was wondering what they thought of Ky's new Durandal Call/Grinder tools, and what uses does his new 3hs in matches. -
It looks like 3hs is the replacement of Ky's AC 6hs, where it stops back dashes and lets you combo off aerial state opponents, it's its more safe to use, based on the match against May. I'm surprised by how safe Split Ciel is when blocked. It looks like it's meant to be used in pressure strings.

Other then Holy Order 3 and Heavy Day when Sol goes into DI, is there anything else I missed about dramatic change in the middle of matches? Can Sol get knocked out of DI by tripping him still? What is the range of dc sacred edge, is it also 2/3's of the screen in terms of range, or is it full screen? -
^Agreed on both accounts. The game is very well balanced, this has been overall my fav iteration of BB thus far.

I guess I missed the DI posts, Sol still loses all his tension once he gets out of DI? I guess he also builds tension like crazy still once in DI too then. -

You know, if I said something stupid or wrong, posting that doesn't really help for future discussions. I'd rather be put on blast then get a response like that. But it has to be a clash of two attacks with high attack power in order to activate Danger Time, so not as much as you think. But regardless GG doesn't need a mechanic like that. I do wonder, if Danger Time could be activated by two Overdrives clashing, or an Overdrive clashing with a normal with high attack power or special? Just a random thought is all. -

I only have an issue with Danger Time both an unnecessary mechanic and an unnecessary slow down in pace. I don't find the game to be incredibly slow. @Fenrir, it may not be people acting like sheep, it may also be that no one wants to be the party pooper if you will that criticizes the new GG game. I see a slow down in pace as well which, varies depending honestly on who recorded the matches. Some videos the game seems to run faster than others, but a slight slowdown would be beneficial for this franchise, I won't lie. To expect to be as fast as AC and finally break through into the mainstream FGC, is a fool's dream. The question is "How far is Daisuke going to take things, when taking into account he must please long time dedicated fans like ourselves". -
Bedman didn't look like a good guy to me the moment he was announced. My question is; is the Senate the same or affiliated to PWAB in any way? And it's a pretty big deal for Sol, Ky AND Sin to be fighting against Valentine. Each of them have more than enough capacity, specially Sol, to hold their own in a fight. She must be significantly stronger than the last Valentine from Overture.

Wow I didn't imagine 3hs and Split Ciel would already prove to be so useful in Ky's blockstrings, just placing a grinder in front of them at the end of a block string creates a lot of mind games since if they stay, you get a free DC CSE mixup, more so int eh corner or you can bait them with jump baits like dc se or jk/2hs. I'm loving this. @4r5, there were a few moments where js whiffed may when she was crouching like at 0:09. But other times it hit her or made her block so I'm not entirely sure what to say right now. I'm already loving Durandal Call, 3hs (which i believe combos into GS), and Split Ciel. Can't wait for this game to be released ^_^ I've said ti before, the game looks slower, but nowhere near to the level of BBCT/BBCS1, it just doesn't look quite as fast as AC. But AC is always seen as one of the fastest highest octane games out there. -

I meant it was too much of both extremes; extremely difficult to use/pull off, and so extremely rewarding it's difficult to bait or react to it (yes I've seen players like Samitto react to it but there's not many that can is my point). -

I. Can't. Wait!!! Wow very good write up listing the strengths and weaknesses of this new tool. SB was a bit too difficult and too strong of a mechanic in my opinion, but BS looks like an good alternative. Lol don't kill their moral because our characters are in the game. -
