  1. It looks just like what Bang does when he is flying in for his intro.
  2. You mean like this? Phalanx is pretty strong~ I fought a Rachel today and was trapped the corner. Using Phalanx when she fired her cannon to continue pressure canceled the projectile and hit her, allowed me to get out. Absorbing her projectiles during the round might be a good option against her corner blockstrings. I was also able to completely absorb Tempest Dhalia with Growler lol. -jbbs Which has been in the 1st post for a while now and mentioned previously. As it was previously discussed, if you can absorb a projectile I really see no reason not to except for the examples already explained. Another example given was an Azrael player used Growler to absorb Hazama's chains but the Hazama proceeded to just fly in and CH him afterwards. Why some players don't do it when it seems like a perfect opportunity to is something you'd have to ask those players directly which we'll never be able to do. Maybe it is a case of better safe than sorry.
  3. Glad they fixed that. That was one of my legitimate complaints about Bang. 5D was nearly impossible to "properly" hit confirm off of in Extend. There wasn't enough time to distinguish between a non-CH and CH 5D so you were forced to pretty much auto pilot straight into an aerial combo anyway since the difference between them was negligible. 5D was literally THE worst move Bang had in Extend in my opinion. I'm pretty sure how it is in CP is the way it was in CS1 or CS2 from the looks of things.
  4. It sure seems like it. I've seen pretty much no one punish it.
  5. You can use 2D to try and react to overheads or as an unreliable anti-air. You can use 6D to potentially get out of pressure since it has guard point on frame 1 to lows/mids, so you could guard point and C teleport out to get away or teleport close to try and hit them anyway. You can use 5D to react to slow moves at neutral (NOT lows) or during pressure, but realize you don't get very good combos off it. You can use j.D to possibly beat out anti-airs but don't expect it to work all the time. You mostly want to use them against things that are slow and that you can react to and hopefully against things that the opponent can't immediately cancel out of (particularly into throw). Just remember that getting away from the opponent can be just as good or better than attempting to hit them after a guard point. They are not reliable moves to use unless you absolutely know it will punish whatever they are doing at the time.
  6. It would definitely be worth it to try and absorb projectiles when you can instead of just avoiding them entirely. The example given in the 1st post is a good reason why. Tager's Spark Bolt maybe being the exception due to still getting magnetism put on you, and Platinum's bubble apparently not counting towards Phalanx Cannon but still being "absorbed".
  7. Bang Matches: 11/30/12 http://youtu.be/EyZVr3Rfb9g?t=11m15s = Hima (Valkenhayn) vs. Bang 12/1/12 http://youtu.be/i6ButUC01E4?t=14m12s = Kato (Bang) vs Ibukichi (Taokaka) http://youtu.be/RmMQlGBBrtg?t=3m22s = Kato (Bang) vs Ruta (Tager)
  8. That is to indicate how long Scud Punishment lasts, meaning as long as he is glowing the weakpoints won't disappear.
  9. Azrael Infinite: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm19476106 Posting this here instead of the video thread since it will probably be patched out.
  10. Here's the rest of those vs. Jin matches, that one included: http://youtu.be/a6f8fm3bBXo?t=4m17s = Jin vs. Bang http://youtu.be/a6f8fm3bBXo?t=11m10s = Jin vs. Bang http://youtu.be/UN5UKOSAOUg = Jin vs. Bang http://youtu.be/UN5UKOSAOUg?t=3m18s = Jin vs. Bang Not much to see really.

  13. You can't just throw out BHS on reaction to things because it has no invincibility. So any move that has an active hitbox already out in the path of BHS will hit him out of it. And any character with a fast reversal (at least faster than BHS startup), can just hit him out of it on reaction to the superflash. Now if the move is something that isn't going to directly hit you on your path and they can't cancel out of it, then sure you can do it on reaction.
  14. Those aren't the numbers. You're looking at the reference pic I made of the old colors. The Black color is just 1 of the 6 Default colors. That other one was from CT.
  15. Yep, that makes more sense.
  16. There's only 1 CP default color I haven't seen yet, although I haven't really looked to see if maybe one of the Bang's scrolled through colors first.
  17. That was back during location tests when there were only the 6 default colors. A lot of them are modified CT colors. #7 is like Dora's old CT color which was Default #2 #8 is a modified CT color Default #9 #9 is a modified CT color Default #10 Then some of his CP Default colors are also modified ones from CT. His white one looks like CT Default #3 and his black one looks like CT Default #4. Same color schemes, just different palettes switched.
  18. #14 is Bullet. #15 is someone from Persona games, maybe CĂș Chulainn. But I honestly don't follow the Persona games enough to know, that's just my guess from what I've seen.
  19. Bang's Alternate Colors, thanks to @jiyunajp and @Kurushii. http://kurushii.tv/Dustloop/BBCP/Graphics/Bang/BBCP_Bang_Palettes_7-16.png For those not following along: #11 is a Guilty Gear character color, we already had this, it is Anji. #13 is a reference color, so obviously for Bang it is Goku. #14 is a BlazBlue character color, for Bang it is Tager and Tager has Bang's. #15 is a Persona character color, Bang has Akihiko. Someone will have to fight huey for the Goku color, lol.
  20. Added Azrael's Alternate Colors to the first post, thanks to @jiyunajp and @Kurushii http://kurushii.tv/Dustloop/BBCP/Graphics/Azrael/BBCP_Azrael_Palettes_7-16.png All of Azrael's colors are now viewable.
  21. Anything that is special cancellable you should be able to cancel into OD. And there are already combos posted with that in mind.
  22. I'm going to agree with Moy. I think they stopped on No.00 on purpose, not to mention it said And > Izayoi. Also the background color for No.00 was purple which coincidentally or not is a part of Saya's appearance, while it then shifts to red for Izayoi. EDIT: Also you can speculate even more because the character page added Nu, and for the symmetry of the page if they add Mu and Izayoi there will be 1 spot left.
  23. I don't know if people are looking at the combo thread or if this was brought up or not so I'll mention it. If you manage to land Scud Punishment and have your Overdrive still, they are put into a pretty vicious mixup. SCP>OD>Opponent Techs, >>>Cross through 5B >>>Cross through Throw >>>Valiant >>>Hornet >>>close 5D >>>5B / Throw Realizing that SCP adds both weakpoints, and then OD makes it so the weakpoints do not disappear while it is active. So if you touch them they are going to get blown up. EDIT: All the information so far has been added to the 1st post of the combo thread, I made a separate section for this scenario with what was given.
