  1. Hey what's sup. I don't really go there anymore because anytime I did it was dead.

  2. That seems like too much of a stretch to me personally. One of Hakumen's story illustrations has Nine looking kinda tall by comparison to Rachel. And Witch and Vampire are completely different. Also that would just be weird thinking Rachel + Jubei = Kokonoe.......
  3. With all the things we knew before this source came out we should have figured out Terumi and Valkenhayn were 2 of the 6 Heroes or at least could have agreed that they were. Everyone pretty much agreed that Terumi has the Ouroboros seal at the end of the True End. And looking at one of the pieces of art from Hakumen's Arcade you can see one of the "Unknown" 6 Heroes is dual wielding swords (that isn't Jubei) and he happens to have the same hairstyle as Hazama when he reveals himself to be Terumi. So all that makes sense. Then because of the way Valkenhayn acts in the Story you can figure he had some importance in the past. And now that we know full well he was it makes sense again to look at Hakumens arcade Art and one of the other "Unknown" 6 heroes has a goatee and long hair in a ponytail, just like Valkenhayn. So we still have 1 Hero unaccounted for. The Bell person.
  4. Isn't that the same combo vid from HaruShinobi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCjTrVpq8FI It was posted in the Combo Thread I believe by Skane. Along with this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYXoDV1MLHg&feature=related 2D is possible. It was on the list of all those combos on the BlazBlue zetaboards that were taken from the japanese wiki. Any Throw > RC > ↓D > JD > ↓B > →↓↘B [2200] I've been trying to make my own Combo listing against each specific character, and I've only been working on Ragna but this is what i've gathered or at least tested myself. From Regular Throw: (50% Heat) (B+C)-RC Immediately-2D-j.D-2B-623B = 2234 Damage – 2 Seals (50% Heat) (B+C)-RC Immediately-2D-j.D-2369C-5D-j.B-dj.B-dj.C = 2708 Damage – 3 Seals – Uses 1 Nail – They Tech in Mid-air Afterward (50% Heat) (B+C)-RC Immediately-2D-j.D-2B-623B-Dash-6C-j.623B-(2C) = 3015 (3289) Damage – 2 Seals (B+C)-Before Hit-236C-2363214C = 3472 Damage – Uses 1 Nail (100% Heat) (B+C)-RC Immediately-2D-j.D-2B-623B-2363214C = 4399 Damage – 2 Seals That's all i've messed with, i'm sure there are a lot more options. Also if you get a regular throw in the corner for whatever reason, you can let the throw itself hit and then do a 2369C and go into a minor combo against certain characters. Instead of canceling (Not RC) the hit of the throw and doing 2369C like you can. But that's probably already been discussed, or people don't bother since they rarely do regular throws, or if they do land one they just do j.623B afterward....
  5. So you kinda answered my question. Sounds like it's not possible to Astral someone if they are already dead.
  6. There is some pretty funny stuff in there. Is it possible to Astral Heat somebody after the match is over? I don't think i've seen a video of that happening. Like maybe if a CH 2D killed someone and you were able to get out the Astral anyway, so they would have to sit through that whole thing even after they were already dead......
  7. Nice stuff. The 2A-5C stuff seemed to be really effective for you. Also that tech trap stuff is something I need to add into my game. Awesome matches, especially the perfect.
  8. Your right, the 2nd time vs Bang it is on zero for the 2nd one. But the 1st time vs Bang it looks like the nail count doesn't even go down or it at least resets while he is covering it up, so that's probably what I was looking at. Either way the Bang vs Bang scenarios are much less likely due to actually having the other Bang time their j.D that perfect you would have to get EXTREMELY lucky, and not use a single nail or Heat. At least with the Tager it looked a little more possible, although I just don't know how the hell they are doing it. Since Tager has so many easy "big" damaging combos you probably could win a match using no nails and no heat if the person really sucked, and could easily land a 2D in the corner if that was the case. But there has to be some trick to him getting out Steel Rain that fast after 2D, I could barely get it out at all after it. EDIT: And I did get the Bang one to work, but it's still not even practical or likely to be able to do in a match.
  9. Sure, we can play sometime. I'm usually on after 9-10pm EST. Hopefully it doesn't lag cause I pretty much suck more if there is even the slightest input lag.

  10. WTF at the end? I think i've actually heard about the glitch when someone was playing against Arakune in training mode or something and his DD went off. I would so do that stuff to friends just to be funny. I'm going to check em out first hand in training mode. EDIT- Nevermind, I suck too hard getting Steel Rain to come out fast enough after 2D against Tager. The Bang vs Bang one isn't possible in a match cause it's 12 nails both times. I don't think the Tager one was and you would think landing a 2D in the corner would easy anyway so it could be possible to do in a match just to mess around. I guess I can't have fun.
  11. That's so much stuff to try and absorb. Pretty awesome to watch.
  12. That's a weird looking combo. I guess I could try it out and see if I can land it and figure out what' going on. I haven't seen that one before though. Who are you trying it against? Or where have you seen the combo? (Unless it is on the combo thread and I just over-looked it).
  13. You definitely must be missing part of the combo. I double checked since I was currently in training mode when I was looking over the topic, and the combo does 3499 before you even hit them with 2C.
  14. I'd say the d.6C is pretty strict for my personal taste. I'd say it's slightly easier to land than the regular 5A-5B-2B-623B-d.5B-etc., which I have a horrible time landing. After they posted them combos I tried em for 30 mins and it was pretty difficult for me to pick up, at least in terms of the simple combo i've been using. The one Reioumu posted is easier I think. Of course I have problems with all those Dash-in combos which is why I try to keep things simple (but it's something for me to work on). My only problem is worrying about once I try these combos online with input lag since my internet connection isn't the best. There are a lot of things to mess up on, by comparison to the simple one. I can probably do em 50% of the time, which just isn't good enough for online play. So i'll be working on these combos some more.
  15. Category 1 * BnB against standing chars: (5A/j.4B/j.C), 5B,2B,6C,j.D,j.2369, wait a split second, C, \/,d.6C,j.D,j.2369C, \/, then: b.) against Ragna & Hakumen: d.5C, then [623B or 2C] [2 Seals, 2 Shuris, 3400-3500 Damage] DAIOUCHIO(?) BANG (??) Combos Against Ragna: * Combo in 6C,j.D,j.2369C,\/,d.6C,j.D,j.2369C, d.5C,623B [beginning must not be in corner, 2 Seals, 3564/xx Damage (5A or j.4C as starter for chain)] nice ender for the BnB off of 6C. ------- For this combo against Ragna you can actually leave out the 2nd web nail. I saw the combo in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1TQYGAd3Yc And even though the combo turns Black in the video, I've managed to do it in training mode as a legit combo. I've only done it against Ragna because that's who I'm currently working combos on, so maybe it works on the other big hitboxes. 2422 Dmg off 2A-5B-2B and 3389 Dmg off 5A-5B-2B. I'd say it's a pretty advanced combo since the only reason I can see doing it would be for the extra seal and a little extra damage. At least it uses 1 less nail than previously listed, but seeing as how 5A-5B-2B-6C-j.D-2B-6C-j.C does 3032 dmg and costs no nails and is much much easier, I personally will be sticking with that. (At least til I get much better). EDIT - Didn't work against Hakumen. So it's probably Ragna only.
  16. The 2nd one or last example.
  17. You know I was actually doing the same thing myself. I was trying to arrange them in terms of difficulty for myself and within that I had em organized by the first attacks and just made notes about character or location specific stuff. I did it this way because there are some combos that I just cannot do consistently in training mode so i can't even imagine trying them online. Of course it just means I need more practice but the point still stands until I do. Then when looking at it by first attack I could realize "Ok if this hits then I can follow up with this." And as I practice I try and absorb the info and know what I can and can't do. Then I could also easily see what the damage was and know by looking at the difficulty which combos I should be doing on certain characters. Unfortunately I gave up twice trying to organize everything i've gathered from the threads on here, the wiki, and the japanese wiki info off the zetaboards thing. So good luck.
  18. This was the video that was posted by Rei: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yq9lg0Ri4c&feature=channel_page I want to revisit this question I had. I still haven't seen this, and I think I had a match that I had a perfect in the last round and it didn't happen. So does it still happen randomly? In one of my recent matches I actually got a Perfect in the Final round of a best of 3 rounds and the symbols didn't pop up but I did that win pose. The only thing the person did was Barrier Burst but i'm pretty sure that didn't cause any damage and I did get a perfect in the status screen at the end. I'm almost positive that i've gotten a perfect in the 2nd round after winning the 1st round as well and had it not happen either (even though this was what happened with the rounds in the match link.) So is it still a random thing even if you do get a perfect in the "last" round, or are there stipulations that I don't know about? Like maybe they have to be Ranked matches, since I only do Player matches?
  19. That was impressive, I definitely need to start working on air combos like that.
  20. I've NEVER had it in 250+ Player Matches. I thought it may be a 360 only thing, but it looks like you play it on PS3 as well and had it yourself so it is beyond me. Oh well, Dora never ceases to amaze me. Reioumu - That bumper combo/setup was awesome. I personally haven't gotten into bumper play myself yet. I'm still working on mix-up / block string play. EDIT: Ahhh I see. I haven't had a perfect in the last round, but I have had perfects. Thanks for the clarification.
  21. What was up with the symbols (I'm guessing the Furinkazan symbols) coming up at the end up the videos? My only guess would be maybe it does that in the Arcade and Dora has it set to Arcade settings.....Or does anyone else know what was up with that? I haven't personally played it in the Arcade or changed it to arcade mode to know if that was the case.
  22. Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but it's a video related question. I upload a lot of my matches to Youtube, and it takes forever to upload them. I'm talking 30-40 minutes for each match. Then when I actually go to watch them myself, it has a hard time buffering / loading, and usually I don't have that much of a problem watching video. So far i've been uploading the files in their original format from the digital camera. They are AVIs and all are nearly 100-200 MB's. I have DSL and these numbers 3360 / 864 Kbps for Download / Upload, so I understand why it takes so long to upload. But don't really understand why it takes so long to "download" since other movies work fine, like whole episodes of anime being streamed without any need to re-buffer. My question is: Should I use Windows Movie Maker to convert the videos into smaller files? I made one as a test sample with dimensions the same (640x480) and the file size changed from 146 MB to 17.7 MB. The bitrate changed from 88kbps to 875kbps. And while watching off my computer I don't see a really noticeable difference in quality, but maybe Youtube would make it worst. However that is a lot smaller file size so I can only imagine it'd take a lot shorter amount of time to upload, and thus with the smaller file size, it'd load faster for me. So any suggestions? If this is in the wrong place, please move / delete or whatever has to be done, and sorry if it is in the wrong place.
  23. So you don't have to block in some (or all) of those examples, instead you can just go straight Distortion? Kinda like the Ultras in SF4 that take priority over others.
  24. The tip that worked for me was holding 9 as 6D came out. I've been getting the Fire Punch to come out much more consistently that way.
  25. That's seems like a pretty interesting setup. I never burst because I always feel like I can make a comeback with any amount of life, and bursting just makes that more difficult. This offensive guard crush seems to be something I might actually find some use for Bursting in. My only problem would be having 6 nails left WITH 100% heat, by that time either myself or the person is usually dead. I guess this would be a good way to finish somebody off though if you have a health lead and think it will kill them for sure. Another great situational setup for Bang. Keep up the great work.
