My thoughts about those logos: *koogy's* (1st one) -I like the color. -As others have said, you could probably throw Sol on there. -If you throw Sol on there, maybe you can overlay him on the "swoosh". -Reduce the size of the text and move it to the bottom right, below where Sol would be. -Use the "lines" of the "swoosh" to figure out where to put Sol, in other words flip Sol horizontally (opposite of Suzaku's), so that the "lines" of the sword follow along with the "swoosh". -I'm not sure if the text should overlap with the "swoosh" (when you move it near the bottom right), but maybe just the D or maybe the D+U. Or don't overlap at all and just put it close to the "swoosh". EDIT *koogy's* (2nd one) -The color/shading for Sol looks really good. -I definitely like the stylized version of Sol. -The red color for the text seems to be a little too bright, but I don't know. -I don't know if the "swoosh" is necessary anymore in that design. -Maybe the text should be slightly lower...? *Suzaku's* -The design itself looks good, but I think it is a bit too "complicated" for a logo. -The words Dustloop don't really get enough attention because of the details. -I personally think Sol should be flipped horizontally like I said above. *Circuitous'* (from other thread) -I personally think Sol should be flipped horizontally like I said above. -I'm not sure if the text should be inside the sword, I'm undecided on how I feel bout that -If it is not inside the sword, then just below it and the length of the sword is probably fine. -I like the silhouette idea. *Thoughts in general* -Possibly use the "Dustloop" text from the main page, it is a unique looking font and it IS on the first page after all. -The idea of putting Ragna somehow into the logo would be fitting because BlazBlue has gotten plenty of attention and isn't going anywhere so I think it might deserve to be apart of the "new" Dustloop logo. This gives it the "new" generation of Dustloop, while Sol would provide the origin and roots of what Dustloop is all about. -I think it would be a pretty good idea to actually make a "contest" to decide the new Dustloop logo. -Give people a chance to submit their ideas into a thread. -After the deadline for submissions, make a new thread and let people vote (not a poll just yet), and pick the Top 5 or Top 10 depending on entries. -From those Top 5 or Top 10, make a final thread with an actual Poll to vote for the winner. It would get the community involved more I think, and let everyone decide what they think is the best. *Please don't take what I'm saying too seriously or critical, I'm just trying to provide more opinions and input, keep up the great job everyone that tries at the logo*

RC Combos: 623C>RC 2nd hit>5C>6A>623B>d.6C>j.623B>5B>2B>air combo ender Big damage (at least 4.3k) from ground command grab. This is a good one to learn, despite the difficulty of the 5C timing. I added a section for Combo Videos to the Video Thread, I put ATG's and both of Sho's on there. It is also updated as of today with the most recent entry from the General Video Posting Thread. The thing with Litchi happened to me before as well, except I think it was one of her specials not distortions (the one where it spins and what not, not great wheel and not stickman). We were both practically dead and I did a desperation Daifunka just to try and get through to her, and it hit but the staff hit me and killed me. I think what happened is even though I "hit" her first, the auto combo didn't get to keep going because I got hit out of it because of the staff hitting me from behind. It is probably just a weird glitch so to speak since naturally if you landed Daifunka they would normally get auto combo'd so Bang wouldn't be getting hit by anything in theory. It would be something hard to replicate in training mode since it probably isn't supposed to happen, it was probably just one of those "perfect situations" or bad situations in our case. That had all the variables happen for that one particular instance. Maybe one day when I'm bored i'll mess around with it and see if I can do it in Training Mode.

Anyone mess with combos off Gold Burst yet? We will probably need a section for that in the Combo Thread since it would be a pretty important situation in a close match.

The discussion thread should be used for discussing the possible combos, and then once you have tested / confirmed the combo, post it in the Combo Thread. I'm sure all of us are reading the discussion thread so if a combo needs to be fixed, you should be able to just quote it and say what needs fixing in the discussion thread or just PM Sho. I mean, what is the point in having a discussion thread separate from the combo thread if everything gets discussed in here, or we have to juggle both threads for information. Has it already been mentioned that you can't crossover Tager in the corner anymore? If it was sorry. Also, how do you get Sparring Mode?? I saw the options for it, but not sure how to get in to it.

Since I'm going through some videos now for the video thread I can provide an example since I just got done watching the match: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm9200966 The very first match: 1st Round - Shadow 2D'd during Kaqn's block string and did the A-Teleport, Kaqn was still too far back for the 2D to connect so it wasn't even blocked, and Kaqn was Barrier Blocking anyway. 2nd Round - Shadow had a 5D at point blank range get blocked and Kaqn did nothing to punish it. 3rd Round - Shadow had a j.D at point blank range get blocked and Kaqn again, did nothing to punish it. 5th Round - Kaqn got Perfected, just thought I'd add that for a laugh. It is not that it ISN'T punishable, it just doesn't happen that often due to whatever circumstances and the flow of the match / opponent's mindset / whatever. EDIT: I hardly see 623B get punished either, but I think that is because it is at the end of a block string after like 2C so they are pushed so far back that you would need the perfect scenario to punish it. And because of Bang's mixup in CS you won't always be expecting the 623B in the block string.

I forgot to ask before, but how do you know a "BUNCH" of Bang players who played defensively? Why in the world would they play defensively??? Maybe that was their problem to begin with........

From watching the JPN videos they dont even seem to get punished for it as bad as you would think. I'll let the lucky players who get to play CS give their experience. But for now I don't think it is nearly as bad as it sounds.

I think you got your categories mixed up. Also, why would you do a tech trap instead of just taking all that damage and mix-up/oki situation, instead of using up a nail for a potential guess? I can understand going for tech traps at the end of combos, but I'm unsure about this one. This is a serious question by the way.

While I don't think it is a big deal, I think the CT videos are supposed to go into the other merged thread. This one was supposed to be for the Combos + FRKZ. The other one is for everything else. But I honestly don't think it matters anymore....

Sometimes I've been thrown out of my command throw, so I like to switch it up as well if I know they are throw happy on wake-up yet still potentially going to block. If they still throw they will just break it, if they time it wrong they get thrown. But I do go for command throw the majority of the time if I am going for a throw. Options are good.

Quick question: Do you still have to do dj.D on characters like Litchi,Nu,Arakune (and i'm guessing everybody else as well now), on combos that use X-6C-j.D-etc.? Is everybody now "Category 1", or is it still (HA/RG/TG = CAT1) and everyone else is just CAT2 now? So can someone clarify the situation with who is what now.
