I know. I'm not wOrried about doing well against him. I'm pleased I'm gonna talk to him. Bala is my pool, too, go figure. Everyone here is so chill. I talked to Reynalt and Justin Wong yesterday for a couple minutes before I wandered off. I got a picture of me and Sean Miyagi. Being a tourist is fun. I meant that my pool wasn't even formed yet when it was supposed to be. Astaroth got knocked out of pools by CEO of Darkness(loser's bracket) and some other Atlanta player finished him.

KOF pools tomorrow. Papstr is in Pool 1 at 10am and has Justin Wong in his pool. Mines at 4pm and who do I get? The Answer. Oh well. As long as I can get out of pools I'll have done well. Soul cal pools... I don't even know if I want to care.

Me and Papstr are watching the Third Strike stream on the fuggin theatre screen. Midnight and Klein are off playing BlazBlue by now. Hyping up the Nashville crew in their teams games, too. Heard about the awful weather. Be careful.

Dude he.... He still competes, man. Why are you asking like he's never going to play again starting tomorrow when he has been since this happened? XD he just does it for fun, now, instead of for the dollah signs. Closed out his career as in like.... Like a cool ending to a movie, where the dude just barely loses in his thing and is so thrilled about the fight that he just lets it go.

This I say it every time a new game pops up to everyone I tangle with. Experience is something you can't teach, and it's the thing that will win you games.

When people say "fundamentals" they mean basic, bare bones fundamentals that apply to any fighter. Ie don't do stupid unsafe crap and expect to not get punished, learn your pokes, know how/when to block, know how to escape, yadda yadda. Stuff like different types of blocking, types of jumps are fundamentally part of whatever game youre playing, but it's not what anyone means when one says "fundamentals". @Midday: I'll text you.

In this thread: People that play a game for a bit, make an assumption, decide they understand the game(moreso than people that have been playing the genre longer than they have), then stop playing it or say "no that's not what I meant" when called out on it. Midnight, I need you to be here in the morning, thursday, brudduh. We gotta grab Papstr and I have to detour to McMinnville. I might have to pick up Klein, too.
