Consider that there are 50 people in a single suburb that own a game. Now suppose half those actually care enough to better their game. Half those find tournament sites. Half those actually go to a tournament. Now 1/3 of those don't get butthurt enough to keep going.Tournament goers are the minority and not the major concern of a company.

Double post: Hey, Jackie. In actuality, it gives no reason for or against running tournaments on ps3. Whenever console exclusive characters are released, they're banned from tournaments unless they are available on all platforms. Otherwise, there'd be a matchup experience issue. Not trying to get you to get the game, just correcting a point.
