Then they would need to get one since all contacts have been moved over to Facebook. It isn't a hassle, just make an account, join the Austin FGC group, you're set. Discussion are held often there such a sessions, tournaments, and carpooling for out of town events. If you want to get more involved with the scene, the facebook page is the way to go. There's another tournament happening in February as well. More details in the Facebook group.

This is now just becoming an ignorant discussion. Truly a person who's trying this hard to get attention, or someone who really has no idea what they're talking about. It's unfortunate see this discussion crumple into something as silly as "ALL YOU GUYZ DO IS CRY!! MAN UP AND LERN 2 PLAY" Really...? Oh? Care to share? Note, that when ST Akuma first came out, people thought he was weak. After a ban, Japanese tournaments actually allowed ST Akuma for the hell of it sometimes. Even with the best Akuams from Japan showing up to those tournaments, they sometimes don't place. Because of these results, should ST Akuma be allowed? EDIT: The same also goes for Pet Shop when he's allowed for shits and giggles, and people who actually play that character seriously actually show up. But at least in this case, Capcom knew of Pet Shop's mobility, and gave a large decrease in Health once he was hit. That question was already answered in that post. Kagura, Terumi, and Kokonoe are console exclusive and have been known to be banned in several tournaments to keep it Arcade Original. I was merely stating the situation of the rules used in the past. -

That's a totally different story. You're completely underestimating what Kokonoe can do. Essentially you're mocking people who feel that ST Akuma should be banned. Not to mention, there's a different route going about this. If you really wanna bring up GG days, then why were EX characters banned? Not like they were any good, hell some seem really weak. Of course it was due to console exclusive content, but guess what-- -

Sadly, people around here are dropping or even hesitate on playing because of Koko. Some people made the switch, but are not liking it. I dunno, hope something gets resolved soon -

I honestly don't like the whole "well wait for the next version" type attitude. Seriously, worse than Madden players. As for the ban, hmmmmmmm, this is kinda interesting. I made the topic earlier to discuss about her strengths, but if this becomes more accepted I'll have to ban her at my events. -

I'm confused as to how you're timing the TK motion. Going through training mode and testing this on every character, aside from pausing 5B on certain characters, doing 2147 always gets me the combo. I never have do anything extra besides dash in 2B, which you can do with the entire cash anyways, so I just do dash in 2B just in case even on characters you don't need to do it on. Where as 8214 whiffs on Haukmen and Kagura. I might be doing it too fast, but this is the end result I'm getting. -
Kokonoe can duck under some of Valk's overhead wolf setups when barrier at the right times. It's the basic string with dash bite and the valks go High or Low with the kick or the sweep. If you barrier the bite and the Valks go for a High, the High will whiff and you can punish. Playing my buddies' Valk, the high Kick thing he does in wolf mode whiffed a lot to the point where he stopped doing it (only going for low and command throw mix ups), but the only string I recall dodging the high was the wolf bite into mix up. I don't know the name or normals for him

Guess I'll have to check in and see what I saw wrong with those 2A starters. If I could post the combos for results, I could, but quiet frankly I'm not 100% sure what the combos are myself. That, or I'm just seeing things lol.

You can still get a lot of 2A, you can no doubt get A LOT out of 2C even on normal hit to catch jumps. Watching videos and buddies playing her, people are able to land 3k off random 2As into oki. That's really good good mid screen. I dunno, it sounds like you're not familiar with Kokonoe if you're limiting yourself.

This is horribly incorrect. She gets very good damage midscreen with a good stater (like 5B and so on). With Grav out, landing random hits become every more deadly due to the float caused by the Grav.

Doing TK Non-EX Hizansen is optimal with 2148, as doing 8214 only works on certain characters. Where as the other motions works on all characters and almost all situations. EX version on the other hand is normally best to do 8214. Try doing 8214 and 2148 motion on characters like Hakuman and Kagura. You'll notice that, when doing it wrong, 8214 will cause Hizansen to whiff, and even if you land it, there's a chance of 6D not working. Where as, with the 2148 motion, these issue never occur. -
I've kinda notice that when playing Koko. I've been doing combos from random posted combos videos and whatever the jap bss and friends tell me, and during training mode I notice I'd drain the gravitation meter rather quickly for some of the more optimal combos. I thought this was going to be an issue, having to manage gravitation, but playing real matches I've never had to worry about it even when landing those combos multiple times. That last part of the quote, I wonder of a lot of people have cried about it over to the staff. With that said, when is the next God's Garden? I'd like to see one where Kokonoe is allowed. BTW, I continue to thank you'll for the feedback.

I have to disagree with most of this video. A lot of segments explain how she's limited in X situation, but having been in training mode with her for just 24 hours, it's clear this player hasn't been playing Kokonoe for very long (or if any).

What I find odd is, I actually don't mind Black Hole. It's like a brain dead version of Eddie's unblockable setup. Problem with Black hole is, getting 7.8k no meter is... a bit much.
