  1. 41236C overheads at 21 frames. you also have 66 ~ 214C. the dash cancels on frame 6, and 214C executes in 15, putting it at 21ish depending on your inputs. Speed-wise that's pretty comparable to most overheads. Noel's 6B is like 24 frames I think. Jin's 6A is faster at 19 but much more punishable. Generally, his are some of the safer overheads. Damage-wise, I'm sure other characters can get more, but Hakumen is pretty solid I feel. Nothing to complain about at least. Of course, it costs orbs to use his overheads, but you can say that about everything he does. *edit. didn't see your edit. regardless, I don't see why it's unreasonable for him to need stars for his overhead. you could say the same thing for everything he does. 3 stars isn't really all that bad imo. sucks that you can't hit confirm, but I just think of it as a cheaper, pre-emptive roman cancel to make it safe on block and do damage on hit.
  2. I can get the jC to hit, but they always tech out of the 2C. I hear I'm supposed to do it late? Should I jC as soon as I start going down? Last possible (non-teching) moment going down or somewhere in between? I can't even get the 6C to combo into 6C. Is that a link or a cancel? I thought I tried it both ways, but it doesn't connect? Is it just crouchers, I think I've done that.
  3. Any help with the 623AA > fall jC > land 2C combo? I've never been able to hit that once, so I dunno even the timing I'm supposed to hit. Also, 6c (CH) > 6c > super??? Can't seem to hit that either. Are you sure you don't mean 6A?
  4. for orbs what I do (which happens to be good for orbs)... jB, B jC, 3C (I find it more consistent then jC to 5C) 6A, 3C (non-CH, can be difficult to tell when it's CH or not, I usually assume CH) B/2B spam... I've never really had too much of a problem for orbs TBH. I just wished he started off with 2, as it's annoying to have to wait around for the 2nd to come up to start looking for 214B/623AA combos. If you land jB, B, somewhat early on you will *likely* generate enough orbs to go straight into 214B/623AA even if you started the combo with 1. I haven't tested this out that much, but I know that I have done the combo with 2 orbs, spend it on 214B/623AA, but end up with another orb left over anyways. So apparently between what fractional orb I had generated prior to the combo, the meter it gave me for doing jB, B, and the time it took to complete the combo, I got another orb.
