  1. Lol. Reminds me of when I played Halo 3 with my roommates. I kind of miss that game. It was always very satisfying spamming shotgun + punch over and over again. Same with hiding behind a wall with the gravity hammer.
  2. From what I remember when playing, it looked the same. Also, aside from being more risky to throw out and getting less damage, 2C is pretty much the same. Whatever tricks you could pull off with 2C you probably could now unless it was something like IB 2C Bang's 2A.
  3. If the voice set isn't Rachel insulting the entire cast, I'll be mad.
  4. Yeah... I was kind of sad to see that Tempest Dahlia is a lot less useful in the new game...
  5. But can you snatch a ball from an old man?
  6. All of those caused someone to be stuck mid air until their opponent decided to do hit them. There's also the- If you keep doing BBL in training mode, the game will freeze (though apparently it happens with other stuff, just BBL makes it happen the fastest). Hime-sama causes so many problems. All of those are fixed except for the BBL in training mode one. To my knowledge, that's still around.
  7. You're required to make sushi and then rip out a serial murderer's heart in one strike.
  8. Lumin should make a wish.
  9. Which one? The burst at super flash one? Or the Rachel air throw 2D one? Or the grab Rachel out of BBL one?
  10. I am the bone of my sword...
  11. Rachel ran forward before he could hit the wall.
  12. 2Cing Carnage Scissors isn't new. You could do that in CT even when cat chair was bad. Though, there is something that has to be said if Ragna is randomly throwing out Carnage Scissors at you. As Tari said, just block it and pick your starter.
  13. I thought it was cute. I haven't really been following the hat spoofs either.
  14. Guro is uh... well... more or less if you've seen Higurashi, you have a general idea of what guro is. And yes Tari... I can see all your mistakes. Muhahahaha.
  15. Nah dawg. This site was just created to talk about lolis and we're all just wasting our time creating resources for the community because we like the pretty colors.
  16. Play Rachel. Lose to Tager. Iknowthatfeelbro.jpg
  17. I prefer the style of her CT and CS1 combos to her CS2 combos, but maybe that's just me. I don't feel like Rachel is a big enough threat mid screen.
  18. There is TD nerf and overall wind regain nerf too. Some of her bad match ups like Makoto, Litchi, and Noel got nerfed (Litchi is probably still even or close to it, Makoto might be in her favor, and Noel is probably more even). But her match up against Tager, Bang, Mu, and Hakumen are probably worse (slightly in her favor, even, and other two are probably in her loss now). Her match up against Hazama is probably the same (still bad). If I had to guess- mid to high B tier.
  19. Tari- Are you sure that list is not a troll list? I doubt Rachel is S because she still has obvious bad match ups like Mu, Lambda, Hazama, Litchi. Characters who are S typically only have maybe one or two bad match ups. Unless even though she has been overall nerfed she somehow gained match ups that are really lopsided in her favor (somehow I don't think that Makoto, Noel, and Tsubaki's nerfs have been that drastic). And I have a hard time believing Noel is C tier. Her cheese got toned down, but they didn't change anything drastic. Her overall damage is actually higher because she can get 3k off of air hits now.
  20. Best part is I don't even know what her normals are.
  21. I like it too. It really is too bad Rachel doesn't have a waterburger night color. I would totally pick that.
  22. Tari. Remind me to buy you dinner. ^_^ Also- Bad Apple~ I think gli has a vocal-less version. My only suggestion is that if you're worried about time, some of the transitions can be shortened. Other than that, good work.
  23. A couple points that I didn't see covered: You can mash A and B to tech once you get knocked down too. In most situations, your best option is to neutral tech because you're invulnerable the entire time and aside from certain tech traps (Tager), neutral teching cannot be punished. Pretty much anything else you can reasonably get out of. Just as soon as you see your character do the neutral tech animation, hold back (or up if they're going for a meaty grab. you cannot be grabbed out of jump start up, so their throw will whiff and you can hit them). Rolling can be good if you're smart about it, but rolls are also not entirely invulnerable so your opponent can also blow you up for rolling if you're too predictable about it. Rolling in the corner (forward or back) is very high risk as you're giving your opponent a chance to do a very damaging combo if they catch you. If your opponent isn't careful with their oki, you can blow them up with stuff like quick tech or teching late. Similarly, when you knock down an opponent you have to watch what they do. If they like to tech late, you blow them up by doing a pick up. If they like to roll, you punish it. But you do have to watch and be careful. If you try to go for a meaty and miss it (too early or too late), a lot of times you're giving your opponent a free chance to hit you (though some characters have stuff like whiff 2A oki for DP/reversal bait). Also... I disagree that taking a blue beat combo is better than trying to get out. Damage is damage and not teching is giving your opponent free damage. There's not many situations I can think of where not teching is a good thing. It can make the difference between taking very little damage to taking a lot of damage. As soon as you see your character tech, hold back A+B if you're in the air or downback A+B if you're on the ground (some people will try to meaty overheads or command throws though, so also keep that in mind). As someone said earlier, you cannot barrier during jump start up. You can also be hit out of jump start up so holding up back is not a good idea if your opponent knows how to smack you for it. You might want to look up your character's jump start up frames. Most characters have a jump start up of 4, but there are a few exceptions.
  24. U Characters also got new Distortion Drives. Most of them are pretty "meh" (lol Rachel got a 50 meter version of Relius's dodge), but Taokaka's is pretty funny.
  25. I was kind of sad that I missed out on finals, but I managed to watch it on stream. That being said- Shoutouts to PNW for Bobbied! Shoutouts to Bobby for being Bobby!
