  1. When Bang goes for his cross up kick, the best option is generally to backdash out rather than be forced to block or try to challenge it with 6A.
  2. Keep playing for as long as you think it's fun. When it stops being fun, take a break and come back to it later. If you mash a lot, just play against someone who'll blow you up consistantly for mashing. That way, you'll learn to stop pressing buttons and just hold down back. Also, video recordings are important to not only look at your own mistakes, but also the mistakes of your opponent. No mix up or pressure game is completely flawless. Every character has holes or weaknesses and every player has habits and makes mistakes. So it's not only about improving yourself, but also learning about your opponent's strengths and weaknesses. And finally, while realizing your mistakes is important, playing the self-blame game is destructive. This is ultimately a game and we're all ultimately here to have fun (in a competative fashion). Being bad at a game isn't a terrible crime as no matter how awful you are you'll get better the more you play and learn, but a bad attitude is much harder to fix. If you're not having fun, then don't force yourself or try to approach things with a different mindset so you don't feel so stressed. No one likes losing, but it happens to everyone. It's just part of the game bro.
  3. I'm totally up for playing Persona when it comes out.
  4. It's worth every penny. ... Too bad Graces F doesn't have the IM@S dlc. I guess they don't want my money.
  5. Yup. Chou was there. Lost to Huey and then Apologyman. Kubo ended up not showing up to BB or GG... Inoue and Chou did enter GG and got 1st and 2nd place. Dogura was also there, but he ended up being DQed because he was busy with SF4 pools.
  6. I'll get you all with the hidden notes.

  8. I thought the OBT was also playable by English-speaking users. I heard a lot of stuff about how instead of localization, they're just going to have an international server. I could be wrong though. (I am hoping that this is the case because Sega of America can go die in a fire). I am kind of interested since apparently it's free to play this time around. Just, you're limited to one character and have to pay if you want to make a second one.
  9. Yeah. A lot of people from the IRC channel are planning to go. I've also heard that some Cali people are going. It'd be nice if Canada showed up too.

  12. I'll try to make it to the next ranbat.
  13. I say, that isn't how the line goes. (Okay, I'll stop now and go back to work).
  14. At least I'm not the only one who understands the joy of Rachel mirrors. No joke though. I wish I could netplay. It sucks having only match up experience against a handful of characters.
  15. No Higurashi or suggestions?
  16. All right. Sounds good. We look forward to hearing from you.
  17. Yes. We are interested in having BB there. And I'm not really sure if there's a designated person, per say. It'd probably be a teamwork effort.
  18. Rachel is your supreme overlord who you have to pay tribute to with high quality black tea. If you've only just realized this, it means you're extremely behind.
  19. Help yourself. And yeah. Pretty sure it was recorded. GG finals were also really funny.
  20. I heard there's a party here.
  21. If it's on a weekend, I don't mind carpooling down with people. Just can't on Sundays because I have work.
  22. Good luck to everyone!
