I can't make it up today due to #real_life, but ggs to everyone I played. And good luck to everyone in top 8!

For those who are disappointed that it's a side tourney, don't be. The side tourney last year was very hype and very fun. If you are able to make it out, the best way to show your support is to show up. The plus side is the spectator pass is much cheaper than the main badge. And, either way, the best part is the experience of meeting players from akl over.

I work Sunday, so I can only come after 7. But if anyone wants to hang out today, hit me up.

Well, I became interested in GG because someone from college had a copy of GGXX, so I'd play that with other people who lived in my dorm. Got interested in BB because I saw an article on Kotaku. Bought the game, went on DL. Then I met some shady people at Safeway and they turned out to be pretty great friends.

I look forward to seeing the new people. Also, lol. I had no idea NWM was so close. I'll be there. X3;

What's interesting about the rankings is you can see their highest damage combo, meaning that 6k and 7k combos exist. I just hope the starter isn't something ridiculous.

I'm not sure how Lotus is supposed to be used. The Rachel player kept going for it, but it didn't look like it did anything. It seems like A Lotus disappears extremely quickly. B Lotus stays out longer. I'm not sure how these are supposed to be used. Activation is slow. They home, but they don't travel very fast. Pumpkin looks the same. Maybe travels farther? A Lobelia CH much shorter. Possibly more recovery too. Lobelia trajectory seems changed. Lobelia no longer floats on hit. Lobelia bounces off of walls. B and C air lobelia knock down. Lotus does seem like they have a projectile hitbox. Litchi's staff clashed with one. Frog meter regens slower. 6A no longer floats on hit. Air CH untech time reduced. After j.2C level 2 ground bounce, B lobelia followup may be harder. Can follow up with j.C and 6A? Can do j.2C level 2 2A whiff 5CC into corner. 4B might not be cancellable on block. Cancelled into overdrive on hit. Special cancellable on hit. Can 4B delay 3C in the corner. 4B ground bounce is still in, but it doesn't bounce very high. Not sure how well you can combo off of it. 5CC still ground slide. Looks like it's hard to combo after it in the corner. Wallsticks the opponent. j.2C still air special cancellable on hit. Still normal cancellable on block. Not overhead. New corner BnB. It looks really weird.
