  1. Thank you for the heads up. Those will be added by tomorrow.
  2. Yeah. The entire thing is on St1ckbug's channel. If it gets re-uploaded to youtube, I'll go ahead and stick those in the video thread as well. It's pretty much up to date... just missing an hour long acho video that was uploaded yesterday? but is from July. There's a bunch of videos of Souji playing in a team tournament that was put on a Famitsu blog. Those are also there.
  3. On good news, it seems like Souji is going to NEC. I'll try to get up all the new videos and stuff today.
  4. But I get full after two spring rolls. Dat $4. Sushi and 갈비 are pretty amazing though. I should go to Tae's house and steal it from his parents.
  5. Spring Rolls > Pho. Search your heart, you know it to be true.
  6. Yeah. It probably does. On a good note, Teddie's frame data stuff should be all posted to the wiki tonight.
  7. Added the throw combos. I've been trying to get to the nico nico transcript, but ideally I would like to re-upload the video to Youtube and time stamp it since it's very long. However, every time I try to go rip it, it's always on "economy mode" and Nicofox won't rip it unless it's on normal mode. If someone could give me a general time for when nico is not on economy mode, I'll give it another shot. Or, if someone would be kind enough to re-upload the video, that would also be very much appreciated. Herbal Gray, for the second throw combo when you say j.214214D (two hits), you mean let the missile explode instead of holding it to delay it, right?
  8. Apparently you have until noon tomorrow to sign up. It's probably best to show up there early if online reg is closed.
  9. Um... I can't find the schedule anywhere. EDIT: Found it. P4A starts at 6pm. https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/68710_507558432605388_541840073_n.jpg
  10. Yes. This is actually an important point for new people to learn. One example would be learning when someone has to reset their pressure. You can typically either attack and gain offensive momentum or use a movement option to get out. And both of these are better for your defensive game rather than letting someone run blockstrings on you all day. Sometimes people won't do something that's obviously punishable, but they will always put themselves into a situation where they have to reset pressure. Spacing can also help you here as it'll teach you when it's okay to press buttons and when it's not okay. Also keep in mind that sometimes these opportunities are only open for you if you instant block. Which you can either figure out by learning the other character's block strings and practicing in training mode or through experience.
  11. That match up in general is just hard. When you're stuck in her corner mix up, you just have to be patient and wait for a chance to get out. One thing you can do is guess when she's going to do j.B and roll out. It is kind of dangerous though as she can just grab you. IAD approaches are no good against her as she can 5A you and 5A air hits do a lot of damage. You don't really want to do a really obvious jump in because yeah, 2B also sucks to be hit by. At neutral it's also always dangerous because of Droite 5D 2D j.D, so you have to be really careful when throwing out items. If you're brave, you can guess when she's going to 5A and 22A under it and punish her with your own 5A if you're close enough. And yeah... more or less you are going to have to rely on bait, punish, and a gimmick if you have one because her tools are all very strong at neutral. Ah, and the number one thing is do not guess at grabs against Mitsuru. She will kill you. Also, her mid screen grabs aren't nearly as dangerous as a 5B fatal.
  12. Huh. I play Teddie because he reminds me a lot of Rachel. 5B is a better 6B. 2B works a lot like 6A. And he has multiple things that can work as a pumpkin (though not as good except for a few items). And yeah, he is kind of floaty and you trade the instant overhead + wind tech for unblockables, good jump ins, and not cat chair. But... a lot of the idea is the same. You play between rush down and zoning depending on the match up and you go for knockdown into throw something at them.
  13. It really depends. Like for example, if Yu's a retard and you block his DP, you can 2C him while he's in the air. You shouldn't 2C him while he's near the ground since you can possibly get hit by Ziodyne. Also, if people are above you and pressing buttons in general, it's not a bad idea... especially in situations where they airtech and are either fear or raged. As for B+D, it depends. You can do whatever you want. Just don't get too over anxious to hit them just because they're raged because you're more likely to put yourself in a bad situaion. Since they're raged, you can hit them whenever you feel like it and it's they who have to be defensive. Take this time to throw more items, scare them with Teddie Vision, or wait for them to hit a button and 5B them, or you can even be super mean and throw Tomahawk at them. And yes, it is kind of well known that Teddie is a jerk.
  14. Can you link to a CMV where they do that? I'm well... fairly sure it's not possible. 2B on not CH doesn't have that much hit stun.
  15. Since the proration on the dry ice is so bad, it would make sense for it to not work on 2A or throw. However, in those situations it would work like a normal dry ice + rage AoA reset, just a bit easier since they should be already frozen. In that case, you just do the AoA wait for it to uncombo and then the follow up. And yes, very sure. You should try it out in training mode. Once hit by an AoA you're in a state where you can only choose to block or not block. However, if you're raged then blocking isn't an option. The only options are burst or die.
  16. Since it's dead here, I figure I should post some information in case it's relevant. In that particular combo video, the dry ice unblockable reset is actually very legit and will kill someone if that someone has the misfortune to be caught in it without a burst. I talked with Spark about it and he did some testing. Apparently, when you're hit by the AoA, you're put in a weird sort of stun where you can only choose to block or not block. Except you're raged so the only option is to die (or burst at the beginning of the reset to save yourself). It's superior to prior dry ice resets because once they're raged, you have to freeze them and then hit them with the AoA. And, depending on the character they can possibly avoid the ice, DP/roll, or burst. However, in that version you combo into the AoA and it uncombos by itself. So whoever gets hit by it is pretty much screwed. So yeah. If you ever want to completely ruin someone's day, this setup is highly recommended.
  17. Huh. It's another version of the dry ice unblockable reset. Some of the item combos are pretty cool too.
  18. Ok! More the merrier! I think I saw too many burgers tonight. ... I kind of want bubble tea though.
  19. Teddie SMP Combo Video Transcript These are all various ways to do Teddie SMP loops. It should be noted that these combos are all very expensive (150 meter and a burst). However, some of them do have practical uses as FC 2C combos in the corner, paticularly ones that do a lot of damage before OMB is neccessary to continue the combo. If you're not familiar with SMP, pretty much any combo where you see Teddie loop his corner BnB path (5B sj.C j.B j.A) is an SMP combo. In paticular, j.B (and I think j.C?) has a lot of repeat prorate, so outside of SMP, this combo path is not possible. Once again, feel free to correct me on any errors. 20. New people! This is great. I look forward to meeting everyone in person.
  21. Ah. I should add that description to the front page. Thank you for informing me. tk. means Tiger Knee. Basically, you do an air special as low to the ground as possible. This is generally accomplished by doing the special motion, holding up, and then hitting the button. So to do a tk.236B, the input is actually 2369B. You want to make sure you hit the button after your character has left the ground.
  22. Yeah. These are pretty good.
  23. I heard the same thing, so it was originally like that on the wiki. However, Spark tested it and he says it is invulnerable on frame 1.
