The start up is fine, it's the horizontal movement and the weird AA invulnerability it has (only while she's actually moving forward). Unfortunately she definitely needs that horizontal movement so that ground combos... work due to her lack of range. IMO having a 2b and a 6b like I said would be godlike.

You know what would be great? If Chie's 2b was changed to 6b, and 2b was changed to the same animation, except she doesn't take the step forward and has normal AA invincibility. Shit would be godlike. Also Chie shits on Mitsuru. This is generally accepted. Discuss.

IMO if you're just starting and want to play Yukiko, I would actually play Labrys first to learn the game. Yukiko as a zoner is arguably a bit harder to play and trying to learn her along with learning the game is going to be that much harder. People are going to be rushing you down and with low health, you're going to be dying before you get a chance to learn much. To all new players that tell me they want to play Yukiko or Liz I always recommend they learn the game with another character first.

...so anyway, if you want an actual character that's pretty easy to pick up and play, I would suggest Chie or Labrys. I would go as far as to say Labrys was created AS the beginner character.
