Space reserved until we get more concrete information on BnBs. I'm starting to post stuff here, I'll clean it up later to be organized. The general standing midscreen starter: ~ -> 5B -> 5C -> JC -> j.B -> j.2B -> j.C -> 6A (2) -> Air Ender Crouching midscreen starter ~ -> 5B -> 6A (2) -> Air Ender Corner/Near Corner ~ -> 5C -> 6C -> Corner Ender - I need confirmation on whether 5C->6C works on non-crouching inside a combo. Air Enders: j.8D~A -> 2D~C -> j.9D~5 -> j.6D~6 -> j.C -> .. -> j.9D~9 -> j.3D~3 -> j.236Bx5 2D~5 -> j.6D~6 -> j.C -> .. -> j.9D~9 -> j.2D~C -> j.C -> .. -> j.9D~9 -> j.3D~3 -> j.236Bx5 Corner Ender: j.D~5 -> j.D~A -> 6C -> 4D~A -> 6C -> 236CC to Air Ender or AB2 Ender AB2 Ender: 6C -> JC7 -> j.236Bx5 -> JC9 -> j.236Bx5 -> JC8 -> j.236Bx5 - It's possible to start the above from 5B(2) -> 6C now, there's going to be a lot more variants this time around because of that. - It has to be researched more where to use 214D j.C into the corner ender. It seems like this might be important. If I get anything wrong it's because it's early, and we only have videos to go off of, not actual testing.

5D~A is -2 on block, don't know how much on hit but I think it's +1. So what I like to do vs mashy people is (5B/2B->5C->2C->236AxN->5D~A)xN. 5D~B I think changes based on how far away you were when you did it, but its regular disadv on block is -5. The B cancel is mostly for combos and j.D~B. And shit like 236AxN->far 5D~B->4B+C. Oh yeah, and crouching loop combos. 5D~C is +2 on block, but because it leaves you in the air (and too far up in the air to j.A directly) you have to eternally bait anti airs and jabs after it with stuff like backdashes and jump cancels. 5D~RC exposes people.

At least the combos we have seen posted seem a ton more variant. That's what I really wanted. If we really need to rapid or have them crouch for midscreen damage on the ground, then fine. For most characters in CS2, this was already the case. Air to air and in the corner we're still looking really good.
-
Well CS2 Bang couldn't air-to-air mid screen meterless for 4k. We still can.
-
Yeah, I meant CH. There's plenty of things we can still do for midscreen damage then. The biggest problem is definitely 2A, 2B and 5B meterless midscreen. Everything else we used start with is still possible it looks like. But it looks like people are already finding alternatives like the JC->j.B route. It'll probably turn into something like CS2 Bang, if he's at the range where 623B/j.623B wallbounces (which doesn't have to be directly at the corner, but somewhat near it), his damage potential goes way up. I think CSEX Tao is the same way with 6C, and everything seems to link into it regardless now.

She's fine in the corner, and near the corner because of 5C->6C I think. I'm betting many things still go into 6A, but he was going to 5B out of habit most times, not necessity. Possibly j.C->6A, AnyD~A->6A will still work just because of the amount of hitstun. And when all else fails at midscreen, there's still 3C->rapid cancel. And of course, if you confirm them crouching there's no problem. Air-to-Air CH is always going to be fine. Because confirming any air move into 5C->8D~A->2D is still applicable.

Yup, I saw it happen in that archive.
-
I think he's too used to using 5B off of everything like D~A and j.C. I'm pretty sure he could have swapped it out with 6A itself or 5C->6C when closer to the wall A lot of those I think he could've actually combo'd off of but he went for the 5B->3C->214C route.

Space reserved for Taokaka CSEX videos.
-
Can you link us to the archive, actually put it in the new video thread, I'll put up a sticky.
-
The CA thing is probably the same, the hitbox isn't that big in CS2 either. Is 3C still the same kind of knockback as the loketests? Are we going to have to link 2B->6A for 6A launches now?

214214C is only for trolling purposes, and a Tager jumping right next to you.

I really hope they kept my bowling ball buffs. It's what I've always hoped for.
-
Taokaka makes several people into one of the most 'freeist' players in the game, real talk. Taokaka is not for keeping the opponent in blockstun, she's for flying around in a billion different ways at neutral with different delays and speeds to try and force counter hits and whiff punishes. Her pressure isn't too bad though, but it's not Makoto level.

I was asleep, apparently nothing happened. I guess we'll try again next week.
-
I'm getting confused, have we decided on HQ or Fugu's place this Sunday?
-
Pretty easy to get to from where I am too, I would be up for it.
-
Sunday? I don't see why not.
-
There we go, I even upgraded the version for you. Why? Because I can.

I bought more XBL with my T12 money lolololol -
Ah, that is true, I went to Azure's place once when I was trying out MK for the first week. That's another possibility.

Hm, I didn't see the Loser's Finals uploaded. Mind linking me? I found that half of the Grand Finals fairly easily. -
Dedicated players can always bring setups. That actually has happened pretty often. If your place is easy to get to via public transit, let's do it. And remember computer monitors can double as setups as long as we bring a console.
