Note oki is safe from blitz. You can be near death before you even get 25% meter.

As for Ino, her only bad matchups with the S tier characters are Faust (4-6). Everyone else is pure 5-5. I would argue she having a slight advantage over Eddie (5.5-4.5), but it's Eddie so just pretend it's really 5-5.

Well, that's why the tier list is made by top Japanese players who have been playing the game for 11 months non-stop. Some JP players (Ruu, Satou) can handle English & have Twitter, so that's an option to pick their brain.

One can't even begin to compare someone who plays a one player game (Ino) to a neutral monster like Venom. HCL & VCL YRC act as a 3/4 screen punish, instant get in tool, oki/mixup starter, and reversal bait. Venom doesn't have insane Airgrab range nor a command grab which gives full corner carry.

If you are not mashing against I-no on defense then you are not playing the matchup right lol. Ogawa vs. Koichi.....prime example. Ogawa mashed in all the right places lol. -

Watch U-zen, Hasegawa, and myself. First off how about shutting down everybody's reversals with VCL YRC, never being able to safely tech against her. Corner combos that give 4+ hit notes on oki, j.D FDC - now 100% with Burst which gives instant crossups and overheads off of jump cancellable moves (no one is blocking this), and impressive damage output, meter gain and set play. She is consistently in high A, and her only downside is lackluster normals and challenging neutral due to hoverdash. Every other reason she is nuts is easy to see in matches from experts.

1) use note Oki or VCL YRC oki online and they lose for free. 2) j.D destroys mashing, so does delay HCL YRC 3) Don't play online and expect a seamless experience. 4) Ino is actually a character, like Millia, where even 1F delay makes it almost impossible to lose...You picking Leo instead is actually FAIR and a nice guy thing of you to do.... -
I-no vs Pot is literally a high 7-3 (if not a sad 8-2).

Really not. Axl's actual really good DP gets safe jumped by Ino for free (as does every other DP in the game) and VCL YRC destroys all reversals anyway. Axl loses that match the second he gets knocked down which isn't hard since his chains all have hurtboxes now. One full screen 6P and round is over. Chain stance is free to IB>5P/6P/BS and full screen dive. The only game Ino has EVER had a bad matchup against Venom was AC since his buttons, combos, and damage in that game were OD. She has always had the unique mobility to navigate balls with STBT, hoverdash>DJ/Airdash, and Chemical love has the property of nullifying projectiles without losing its hitbox (Blows through w/ infinite projectile durability).

When there are Millias and I-nos trolling netplay, who the hell will prefer to play Ky? Plus many players such as myself still play the majority of matches offline. Casual & Tournament. So theory about character & player strength is still relevant for those who play on a higher level consistently. Even if we are the minority.

Xrd PS3 Performance Issues and Future Tournament Standard?

During NEC we noticed that even with "performance mode" enabled, if your PS3 is online and you receive a notification (ie. PSN friend logged on/off, or a trophy), or even offline and you receive a trophy during heat of a match, there is sometimes a slight hiccup/stutter in gameplay. This happened on a Fat PS3 as well as a 1st gen slim. This was also an issue with PS3 versions of MVC3, and disabling in-game notifications fixed this issue. Might want to go this route if running Xrd tourneys on PS3. -

True!! U-zen and Turio fall apart the easiest. Koichi doesn't care that man will keep doing something until it works. OSCA is good at adapting tho and is slightly unpredictable. I agree that Hasegawa is the most observant and consistent I-no player win/ranking wise, but his bare bones style is so sleepy time. Def my least favorite. Personally I feel that I play closest to U-zen's style, but I have no problem adapting to troublesome matches like he always seems to have. He is def my liege right now.
