  1. FB Note in the corner after KD letting both get blocked is equivilent to +39 GB. Ive done 232 meterless. So worth the tension. However FB note on block from full screen (both notes hit) causes guard gauge to flash and is equivilent to +70 GB.
  2. Just so you know, FB note on oki > 2k starter > HCL B&B is ~247 dmg. The guard bar build is serious. f.S is also really really strong.
  3. Yeah. Last FRC frame is hit. But first 2 frames you can frc > throw or frc > 66. On another note, you have to be careful of your combo routes depending on the starter due to her new proration values on many of her moves like dive, 6P, STBT, ect.
  4. Not every single FRC obviously, but along the lines of different techniques ppl use (training mode flash, visual+audio cues, pure muscle memory through blinding). I personally learned by learning the timing via input display, then closing my eyes so my hand muscles were the only thing working to learn the timing, while practicing doing the FRC in common use areas and random obscure movements/situations. Audio training isn't a good idea for obvious reasons (tournament), and visual cues may mess with you if the frc timing is in the middle of a complicated string or movement, or out of nowhere in the middle of a move. (Ino's throw/Dizzy ice spike).
  5. How would you want to approach? Everyone's technique for this aspect might be different. Would you want to cover them all?
  6. Only chars that had problems were Axl, Dizzy, Millia, Sols, and sometimes Baiken. But this had more to do with floaty bodies making j.S hit late. I'll test it out soon. EDIT: tested and The two Sols as well as Millia still have issues with the 6FRC6 > j.S > FF VCL. Guess we can stick to 6FRC6 > j.H > j.D > delay VCL or 6FRC6 > iad FF VCL. Everyone else is looking good so far.
  7. So like, dibs on normal +R HS color. LOL. Enjoying the hell out some +R Ino right now.
  8. This. Is. Truth. Evolution goes forward, not backwards.
  9. Exposed. Also I wrote an article giving a heads up about it on the Dustloop front page as well.
  10. We really don't. Unless it is during/after TSB monthly. We play at least 2 days/week usually fri & sat in either Queens or BK. GG/KOF usually but other players come for other games as well. (P4U, UMVC3, BB, SFIV) Let us know if interested.
  11. Ill be sure to bring my PS3 Andrew.
  12. I would seriously recommend watching high level play and emulating/studying their play. What you are doing now would be called a waste of resources, as using 50% tension on a combo that is not guaranteed/does little noticeable damage with a prorated starter/is a reset basically is not a good look. Frustration when learning I-no is understandable but it is something all of us have experienced at one point in time and you really just have to work past it. Please utilize the video forums and or YouTube/Niconico to get yourself acclimated to what you should be seeing/doing. If you need some help finding good I-no footage/players let us know.
  13. Dude you already know about the game. It's on like episode 16 now and noone has "mis-heard" except for you. Or has kept it to themselves.
  14. It's been said so many times that FRC's are not hard. There is nothing excessive about it. Players who actually play GG will never tell you FRC's are too difficult or excessive, but that is due to years of playing. However, even when first learning GG, coming from an mvc2 background, overcoming an execution barrier and optimizing my character was what makes learning a new game so much fun. Nothing but simple muscle memory. If you can do simple 1-2 frame links in SFIV, TAC infinite in Marvel, you can learn some minimum 2 frame FRC's. Fighting games should stay fighting games, guilty should stay guilty. Speculation is all good and all, but GG at its soul has a reputation that demands excellence; for a reason.
  15. You win the thread sir. I agree with the multi-OST option. Still wish they would make Isuka & Korean #Reload tracks DLC for the game (as well as Faust's Korean stage). I would copp that so fast lol.
  16. PSN is being most ass today
  17. East coast GG anyone?
  18. Yay GG with new entrants! You guys need to ask more questions about stuff if you have them.
  19. Tips for making new guilty gear...keep it guilty gear. BBxP4U mechanics/features does not = GG. Do not want.
  20. But the fact is that GG is godlike in terms of gameplay, mechanics, game flow. Too much fun. BB/P4U are enjoyable but the meta in GG is just so good. That needs to be adopted into Xrd more than anything.
  21. Lol nice. I suppose GG took effort, and as such is no longer "difficult". Shitting on effort makes one look lazy so I guess it's just safer to fall back on difficult. But really?, why would ppl actively debate game difficulty/effort? If you like the game you learn it. Let ArcSys do their job and cater to new gamers. They've already done well in that regard with BB/P4A.
  22. Wait...Guilty Gear is hard to play? Son, go spend time emailing arcsys and cry to them instead rather than posting/complaining here. Or better yet, *gasp*...actually spend some time learning guilty gear. Jesús Christo. Just cause something takes effort to learn doesn't mean it is difficult. Its like this thread is the pre-whining outlet for Xrd.
  23. GG FT5's tomm?
