  1. I need to focus on that more, Tager 5A is pretty good once you hit them with one.

  2. One of my recent favorites is 5B>2B>5B>2B(wiff)>720. Works wonders if you've been abusing 2B like I usually do.

  3. Yeah, but A sledge is minus on block. You can play mindgames and gimmicks, but there's a reason they call it a disadvantage. I like Sledge>RC>2B>mixup but that's 50 meter to force a guess, maybe...

  4. That should be the measure of how shitty a move is. If Carnage Scissors is better, don't do it.

  5. Teach them the ways of 5C, 2B, and 6A. Those are Tager's pro moves. Of course as long as ranked matches exist, so will Sledge stay pro.

  6. I'd offer to help in whatever way I can. I think you'll do fine. Meanwhile I'll continue working on my complete takeover of Mu... *Rubs hands together and laughs maniacally*

  7. Here's another vid from me: FlyingVe vs OmniScythe There's alot of somewhat obvious mistakes (bad blocking etc...) in the vid. What I'm really looking for is tips on improving my zoning. It seems like I'm letting people in really easy. Once I get a knock down I'm usually good, but before that I feel like I could be using my tools better. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Since this match I've started using 236A alot more. It's really good at just giving you time.
  8. You a mod now... what is the world coming too... :vbang: P.S. - Congratulations and good luck.

  9. Hell yeah, I can't count the number of blue beat damage I've taken.

  10. In Smash it's a 0-0 matchup for humanity.
  11. Thank you Zong/AXIS, couldn't have said it better myself.
  12. Problem is, that even if you know there's a gap, 90% the time, the internet will turn a well timed poke, DP, etc, into a CH and you eat another 4k because the combo's a re to easy to link into. So you wind up almost being forced to mash something to get it to come out, and I cant do that properly (it goes against all of my offline knowledge). I actually don't mind if they charge for it, between all the DLC and the balance patch, it's like we got a new game for $30.

  13. I think that's kind of an issue with BB as a whole, it's a bit gimmick heavy, and the top tier characters practically shit damage. I actually don't like easy wins (despite my occasional rage). If my character is good I'll get bored. I think BBCS2 will make the game much better in that you will actually have to think about more than what to do with a hit. Online improves mixup alot though... Also, i'm tired of being comboed for 20 seconds or doing a 50 hit combo. That's just like playing guitar hero or watching TV. The important stuff is what happens between combos (not entirely true).

  14. If you like him go for it. Don't let tier lists stop you from playing a character. Just accept that people like me will bitch about it. If memory serves, in BBCS2 all they did was cut his damage and make it so he can't turn every hit into nonsense damage. But that it pretty much what they did with all the higher tier characters.

  15. I think he's trying to say (correct me if I'm wrong), that a tier list is slightly different from a matchup chart. A matchup chart ranks odds of victory, while a tier list determines how easy it is for a character to win. Therefor an obnoxious mirror match could slightly tip one, but not the other.
  16. Ah, I think I get it now. Thank you. I still wanna hear why you think Tsubaki is higher though. It just seems like everything is against her... except Rachel.
  17. Asky questions, try to understand it. Don't just say he's wrong.
  18. Seriously, AXIS is right. I don't really get it either, but I wouldn't say the man from japan (and a great player) is wrong just because you don't understand it.
  19. @ Jiyuna: I'm having a little bit of trouble wrapping my head around this. I understand what your saying about some characters having easier mirror's, and that some mirrors are really one sided (such as arakune), but since both players have the same opportunities, wouldn't it still be even? I'm not saying your wrong, but could you explain how that becomes a 6-4 as opposed to a really annoying 5-5? Also, I'd like to hear the reasons why the japanese think Tsubaki might be higher. Just out of curiosity.
  20. We need to play some more. Your Mu does alot of stuff I haven't seen before, and you zone much better than I do. I need to pick up some new tricks and would appreciate it if you could whip my ass with them. Also, that 20 second where we were perfect mirrors of each other doing D-wall was pretty hilarious.

  21. That's what PSN players have been telling me. He epitomizes the biggest problems with BB:CS. Almost every character can link every fucking hit into a huge BnB. Valk is better because his pressure and mixup is retarded and his BnB can do between 3 and 8 k damage. How'd you like him though. I know you wanted to play him. And yeah, PSN players are pretty bad on the whole.

  22. I say it's pretty even. Like Pulr said Mu's range is better, and with Ragna's crappy approach, keeping out it much easier than most. Also, he's easy to Block and DP, and his small life bar means you only need to oki him up a few times to kill. On the flip side, it's a ver frustrating match, one screw up on your part and Ragna's damage and meter output will more than make up for the damage he's taken until that point.
  23. In your opinion does his hitbox set up anything useful? Does it improve the effectiveness of 236D ala Hakumen or Ragna?
  24. Also, consider that Ragna is almost forced to hit a cloud or two chasing Kune down. From there one screw up and it's GG. But that is arguing over .5 so, meh.
  25. Liked my story did you?
