  1. Whether or not you saw this, you net famous... maybe... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eI1TtUsD9f8&annotation_id=annotation_975115&feature=ivWhether or not you saw this, you net famous... maybe...

  2. They are fine, but I play omni a shit ton... so I know them :). I don't really know how to frame trap with jin, but don't be so predictable with the Ice. It's an easy sledge, even if the internet doesn't let me do it sometimes.

  3. Yeah, I know why you do it. Like I said I'm not trying to sound elitist, you did alot to me to like the xD after 3C to catch my counter poke (that I did like everytime :P)

  4. In short yes, Leo and Heroic are right.

  5. They are good, and AXIS is a hell of alot better than last time I played him. By the wrong mindset I mean, many Tagers think that he is all about gimmicks (spurred on my watching MikeZ replays), and neglect fundamentals. In short they are all about learning all the one shot tricks, rather than solid play. More "how did you do that" than "why did you do that".

  6. Yeah, my Ragna's been feeling pretty bleh in CS. Being fullscreen with a big character (Tager, Haku, Ragna) against Mu sucks ass because getting around 6D>4D>214D is really hard. Also, I've started Zoning harder with Mu, which is better, but probably makes me much more rage inducing. Don't take this the wrong way, but, you have alot of things you do habitually (as do I) that I was taking advantage of. For example, Haku vs Tager, you always jump away and try jC when I jump at you. When my spacing was right, I did a short jump into AC and caught you. This is why I play SF4, to practice that stuff. To bad the game is pretty dull...

  7. That's why I don't post in the Tager Forums. Most Tager's have the wrong mindset.

  8. But don't fear my hazama... So which char do you think is my best now? Rachel? :)

  9. GGs and thanks for the games. Our connection was actually pretty solid. Still, throw techs online make me :vbang:.

  10. alrighty, I'll get to my box straight away.

  11. Hey, wanna play a few matches?

  12. That's what it looked like to me. You were playing solid, and Ice not so much. But you guessed wrong few times and... Bang happens... That's why I don't like playing God tiers, they just do whatever, and you have do everything you can just to stand a chance.

  13. Yeah. At first I thought the current intro was just a new style, but after seeing CS2's I realized that it was just unfinished crap. There is so much more detail now. I really hope it doesn't take them too long. especially if their doing it as a patch. but we all saw how Valkenhayne turned out...

  14. It was a good change. I'm hype for CS2 now though. Hopefully it will be out for us soonish his time. I want to try to make to EVO or something bigger next year.

  15. Tagers normal throw is the same, I'm not sure what your talking about specifically? His normals are better so the tic is stronger. The big thing they changed on the throw is that the animation is slower (so you can react if you accidentally get a back throw), and the proration is worse. Also, when looking at the data it says Noel has a 4 frame air throw o.0.

  16. Yep 360B is now 6 frames, which is fast as hell (used to be 11 i think). I used to tic into it alot, but I always felt dumb cause you could mash out of the tics. It just one of the reason CS Tager is no where near as bad at CT. Now if only they could fix the netcode... :vbang: Now that I've been playing offline a bit (teaching people the game), it stands out even more. I would rather beat a scrubby tsubaki or lambda into the dust, then try to respond to Hazama's chains online...

  17. I haven't any problems with them yet, but I hear ya, I've been through countless xbox's, a few ps2's, several N64 and ps2 controllers, and my NES and 2600 work as well as the day they were new. Sadly, the Atari sucks regardless.

  18. Yeah, that's mostly because I need more practice with Mu. Ragna and Tager didn't really change from CT to CS. That's weird about your controller though. I would google it, I don't really understand why the mic would go like that.

  19. I reality, not really. I split my time pretty evenly between Tager, Mu, and Ragna. I might be better with Mu though, IDK. Internet though... It can make Mu really difficult... Why what's up?

  20. It's done, I need to go bang my head against the wall some more: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMVk-5WK3Wo

  21. RPS = Rock, Paper, Sicissors Also, there is a difference between advantage, and having the ability to guess right. Complexity and number of options DOES NOT yield depth. There is an extensive article about depth and options on Sirlin.net that might be worth a read. Also, yes, different games have different rules, but FG's are not so dissimilar as not to use them as a point of comparison to one and other.
  22. 3D fighters are whole different beast, what works there doesn't really work as well elsewhere. And having more ground options is a big benefit of techrolls, and by extension lets you design characters without having to consider their wakeup option as carefully. This in turn helps the variety that we get out of BB characters. However, you really should be blocking 90% of the time anyways. Look at SF4, characters without a decent wakeup option get beat on pretty bad.
  23. Guessing, options, complexity =/= depth. Adding dynamite to RPS doesn't make the game deeper, it actually makes it worse. Depth is about the interactions between different options, not the multitude of them. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate techrolls, I just think they need an adjustment.
