  1. Wow, thank you so much! I generally just play with my group of friends (which I'm the best) so it's a bit hard to improve and this is a match up I know pretty much nothing about (like most match ups). I definitely be reading that post over 2-3 times so that I can absorb everything from it.
  2. Sorry for making a new thread but I didn't really see one that fit as a critique thread. Anywho, as the titles says, I suck and I want to improve so I was hoping that I could post some vids of me playing and y'all could give me tips on how to improve and what to work on (aside from being more consistent with chemical love ->air dash ). Here are a few matches form a tournement I went to last week. I would greatly appreciate any input you all could give. http://youtu.be/FQdaA1Y06B8?t=21m50s http://youtu.be/FQdaA1Y06B8?t=45m10s http://youtu.be/FQdaA1Y06B8?t=63m45s There's random bad commentary on the vids so you might want to mute it. >_>
  3. We need more guilty gear players. >_>
  4. If a gathering happens on saturday I may be interested in going. Assuming I'm not playing smash.
  5. I'm sad guilty gear got cancelled I'm sad my I-no still sucks I'm glad zoogstin helped me improve and taught me not to be afraid of Zappa I'm still afraid of Zappa Time to hit the lab...
  6. Wow, is there even anything you can do against that sword? Zappa already scared me. That's not helping...

  9. I've played pad as long as I've played fighting games (and games in general :P) and haven't had too much trouble learning difficult things. I main I-no in GG and can chemical love -> airdash about 75% of the time. After a bit of practice, tech hitting doesn't seem to be too hard. I roll my thumb over the face buttons as well as hitting one of the shoulder buttons (hitting both shoulder buttons feels awkward). That's 5 buttons which is 90% if I read correctly. I play lilith so the hardest thing for me is comboing into LI. I may try to get on ggpo if I can figure out that port forwarding stuff.
  10. I've been watching VS vids for the past year and am finally deciding to try and learn it. It's quite difficult but very fun. You probably wont see me much around here if at all (I tend to lurk) but I at least wanted to say hi and introduce myself and whatnot. Also question, How well do you think a pad player can do in this game? I'm not changing to stick regardless but I'm just curious as to how hard I'm gonna have to work. I play I-no so I'm fine with working hard.
  11. I'm not usually able to get out and play with people but I still play this against cpus from time to time. I wish I was able to get out more. People not having ps2 sticks doesn't help though. >_>
  12. Hey mad tea party, was that you I was playing GG with at that ncsu tourney on saturday (since you were the only one talking about GG in the thread)? If so, good games.
  13. I practice guilty gear a lot more than I practice any other game. Stupid chemical love -> airdash. I hope I can make it to that tourney. I wish I had a system to play BB on.
  14. I'd rather play GG. >_>
  15. wow this thread's so active, what the heck? I wish I had a system to play bb on. whatever, back to practicing I-no stuff.
