im glad i didn't have to play eveyone in story mode to get mu. now i can focus on what i wanted to the most, leraning her, and exploring the possibilites her stiens have in all ranges. right now, I like using Ame no totsuka with two stiens, 6d 5d usually, then using the cover fire to set up another set of 6d 5d. Im trying to see what kind of laser pattern are possible that could potentially shut down the ground or air for a considerable amount (trying to see how useful is 5d jc 5d jc 236A, and Im trying really hard to make her 236A a big part of her game. its something i dont see people do too much, which is okay, but im curious as to what i could do with it, espcially since I can TK it, in order to make it go semi straight. so far the thing i really like about 236A is that its quick enough to sneak in behind a stien toss at mid range if i tk it, and if i full hop it i can throw it out and still use 236d before it hit the ground. maybe im looking for fake gold here, but i gotta try at least ... if someone could try for me, when you knockdown with mu, as you prepare to oki with her 2D, jc and Tk her 236A (i guess 2369A).

yeah, when i played v13 against my freinds tao, i started the match trying to bait the drives, since i knew he had the mobility to go past them and punish me for big damage if i got predictable with it. i actually became more aggro after knock down, using my pressure up close to keep him pinned. The fact that she lost her old actparcer to me prevents this, the best i can do is try to trick you into a grab up close, and all she gets no frame advantage from anything up close really. plus the fact that she can't jump out of her standing drives means one correct guess from tao should mean a gay taunt loop . But Tao to me easier to pin down up close than lambda ( backdash, reversal super, IB> Gravity reversal) and we have a whole mess of gaurd breaker options so honestly anytime tao has is blocking is really bad for her. I think the matchup is pretty even

i see. not enough hit stun in those lasers i suppose. just to be curious what is her safest move on block?

stein related questionns: Opponent is down. MU sets the primer breaking stein. Opponent gets up. MU begins block string. Mu player knows how many seconds before the laser fires. She cancels the block string into another primer stein just as the first one goes off, keepin the opponent in block stun. She goes right behind that laser, and begins another block string. rinse and repeat. Is that possible? btw, how many seconds between the setting of both types of stiens and their lasers? also, can she cancel into her Drives from any normal?

?: doesn't he have a legit reversal to use agaist MU's pressure? I think you may be right in that fallign in love with the stiens to much can be the worst thing to do. one stien is good in a nuetral advantage, on knockdown, is where Mu must take advantage. He also has a reversal super, so baiting those once he gets the Heat for it is critical to keeping him on lockdown. This is my feeling on the matchup. then again we also have a good reversal. Ive been watchin loads of video for when i finally get my hands on this game, but I admittedly need to look at hazama more.

looks like you cannot recklessly do any real spamming in thins matchup lol. I thing think that the gaurd primer lasers will help in that, on wake up, to throw off his timing for those counters. Is it possible on wakeup, to throw out any type of stien, begin pressure, and time the setting of another stien as the laser hits an opponent, so that you are safe from counter attack, and can continue pressure in this manner? in other words: Opponent is down. Is that possible? btw, how many seconds between the setting of both types of stiens and their lasers?

which should be what they'll be saving chargees for: reversals and Drive charges. I do agree that she will have to be on her game up close because of our DP, and that if we have 50% heat she shouldn't do any shield charge unless she RC'd it or its the Drive version. So she will be taking multiple risks to get in, while mu can set up safer methods of getting in on her. Every knockdown should be a stien setup though, keeping pressure to give her as little time to charge is optimal IMO

yeah, this feels like this matchup benefits more usage of the explosions, by baiting that charge move of tsubakis and punishing with it. It's probably important to always have an orb in between to do so, and youd have to pay attention to that charge meter when shes on the ground. knockdown, set orb, block string to explosion and repeat, while baiting reversals, etc. we probably have the advantage if we put her in the corner... dunno if that charge move can be used like a reversal though...

my hero. on the side note, if what i read was correct you cant jump cancel any of her D's which is officially the dumbest move in BB history.

wow. that's lame. those are the kind of people that will still lose to A-11 when this trash character come stateside. but then they will have no excuses... yep. and a lot of the same people who whine about Nu will still have issues with lambda, since most likely, thier character will also be nerfed. ggs. The reason i picked her up was because of the mixups from cresenat saber and the many ways you can jump cancel and mix things up. this is mostly gone now. the combos from actparcer C is sick tho. that thing can hit you even after you double jump! I'm most upset at how they made 2C slower and how you can't jump cancel. Also, if a player has problems with 5dd 4dd in teh first place then they have issues. I see no reason to take that away. I guess that is whappens when refuse to learn the matchup here? I like her act parcer moves tho. they are very fast and even if the A version is a bit slower, looks like you can mindgame a grab anyway. And the new 236 D is lovely. but im concerned that these nerfs may make Lamb-chan even more keepaway than now Seriously all they needed to do was nerf the damage, but I'm still gonna play her.

here are a few matches for ya JOmega (Nu) vs Kojin (Nu) JOmega (Nu) vs Kojin (Nu) 2 FullNigAlchemist (Tager) vs Kojin (Nu)

answers? taokaka? Mwahahahaha! I think at this point, you just gotta learn how to use that barrier better, overall, just block better really. IDK, but v-13 and taokaka have issues IMO against noel when she does get in, we don't have too many opptions outside of the most basic defensive measures. the possibility of a dead angle attack and a reveral distortion exists but that's 50 heat either way. Priority needs to be put on knowing what her overhead/lows are. I hope "your friend" figures it out, Shinobi... in either case, he's lost his mind if he'd rather fight a Nu or Arakune

Please someone check the viabibity of this setup , which i perfer to try after a block string starting with B, C,.. B, C, D (A or B on hit),B, C, D (A or B on hit)... from what i see, this allows continuous pressure, especially on the corner. I believe that randomly adding D(B on hit) on a grauding opponent, then quickly attacking with C from behind, while the clone seems to attack from front (17 frames lag) may be a possbile ambiguous setup to make them mess up and get hit. I also propose the possibility of during this setup, as it is hiting, (especially in the corner) that just as teh super ends, use Tao's 3C to enter into another combo that will finish with them in the corner and keep them there. What I need to ask you guys to see is this is done, how much heat is restored from this, and if by some wierd possibility, you gain enough heat to be close to or ready to do it again on wake up, that would be nice. Even if not, i'd like to see how much heat you get from a Tao combo that you get from 3C. thx.

I've seen a japanese player (reria maybe?) do this once in a match, but more importantly, the use of IAD < 214D© to create what seems to be an ambiguous cross up scenario (usually off a blocked 2C). He usually got grabs from this setup (or probably pressure with 2C again if you are fast enough), and I assume that the threat of a CH 214D© is still there. if you don't airdash and do the saber cancel after something like a 2C, it also seems to be a wonderful mindgame with several options for an air dash backwards, forwards, or renewing pressure. so far, japanese nu player's close range/mid range game involves heavy usage of TK'd Cresant Sabers up close. and from my experience so far, it really puts a layer of fear even at mid range, and although i dont think this is a block string at all, it seems that 5DD 2147D© works well to mask openings in your keepaway/pressure game.
