Yeah. But if anyone noticed, the new b teleport has a ton of full body invul. That could be a rather good dp bait. And a fake cross up during curse.

I'm Michigan's resident Arakune main and current Arakune moderator on DL, we should talk sometime.

Her play style is irritating in both design and it's very necessity. Plus her "I'm the victim" personality isn't endearing to everyone. I for one find it quite irritating.
-
How did that happen? I copied the description from the CSE wiki. @Mumm-ra Yes.
-
I confirmed my availability for the weekend of UFGT, MI niggas confirmed free rides, so unless something comes up, I'll see you guys there.
-
Simple syntax errors mumm-ra, I fixed them. I also forgot to put in levels and attributes. I'll throw those in later today. And no, no notes on how much barrier is lost on blocked CT.

Real talk it would be great if Ohio came up for MM. Past experiences show we get along real well in person. We should get Illinois to come up too, get to meet each other before UFGT.
-
Ver's been slipping since CSE imo, but he had been doing better.

Ryan get up here.

Just about any video where curse ends in the corner, you'll notice that most of the time, whether or not curse ended in a combo or a block string, they are re-cursed easily while still being in the corner. It's like Chie, except you get curse before eating damage. Take a look at some of jourdal's recent uploads. What you're generally going to see is after a curse combo is 5d > d bug 2 > 22a > 6a > 6b > 6d, meaty low to catch roll attempts. 50% curse and an unblockable set up afterwards. DP safe. If they're blocking, most likely a c/d bug, you just pelter them with high low mix up, since bugs use up curse now, bypassing the 50% re-curse cap is far far easier than it used to be, so one slip of the opponent's defense and they're cursed again, since Arakune can get 100% curse in the corner from every practical starter he has, that included ground throw. In both situations, upon successful re-curse, just make sure the move that inflicts curse is 5d so you can special cancel into a plus|minus b so they can't roll behind you. That is the vortex from what I've seen. And it's wonderful. And well deserved. Fuck what anyone says.

Well, you volunteered, didn't you. Go ahead and make it. As far as notable players, I don't pay too much attention to anyone except Hiyoko, Souji can go in, since he did qualify, despite him losing is the only footage we have of him. Let me think for a second. Fumo is still good. Zagi has also shown good progress since I last seen him.

You're hired! Just be sure to get all the vids in this thread, in addition to any that haven't been posted here. Thanks a ton!

Alright, hive soldiers. A few announcements. Over the course of the next few days, I shall be completing the BBCP wiki, both the Arakune page and the Arakune frame data page. Again, not much has changed aside from obvious things and the like, non-attack data is up in the wiki's System Data page, you won't be too happy about it. Let's just say be ready for CS2 war terrors. Also, since big brother is always watching and feels this is necessary, I will also be creating a CP video thread, though personally I'm terrible at keeping up with them. If there are any volunteers to take on this task, please step forward, just make sure it's updated, I'll be sure to back anyone up, just follow the universal naming structure of [CP] Video Thread and go nuts. That is all. You shall resume rooting for Souji and Hiyoko in silence.

BlazBlue Question Thread - Ask your questions here!

There are several reasons to burst. Naming credit to the MI anime sceneā¢. The "Grendy burst" This is when you burst immediately after getting hit with an overhead. This is mostly an angry "I swear I blocked that", but sometimes, more justifiably it's because you don't want to lose your positioning-a common reason to burst in general. The "Insurance burst" This is when you burst to maintain or salvage a positive situation, per say to keep your opponent in the corner, to keep them from going on an overwhelming runback, or even to halt any momentum when they are at low health. Yes, bursting your opponent into the corner counts as this, just make sure it's a CH burst. The "Oh shit burst" This is the most common burst you'll see. This is for when you're eating unwanted damage or eating damage that would secure the round/match for your opponent. Basically a second chance to run it back. The "Zoner's burst" This is what you would do when you resolved yourself on not getting touched, and you got touched. Despite the name, not exclusive to zoners, just in any footsies or spacing situation where you've been compromised. -
Firstly, it's impossible unless it's from a FC, second, you delay the j.b until the apex of your jump.

Must have been that quaint period at the gameyard, before the bulk of us came together.
-
We had a CS1 release party? We didn't even technically exist when that game first came out. We had a CSE release party though. Twas good fun. I think we should.
-
Bout 3k from a 5b > j.b loop, probably up to 4/5k with meter. That's what I get.
