  1. You are correct on all those assumptions. And for the fake cross up, you mix it up with the real cross up. It's a matter of conditioning, if they see and get hit by the cross up, they'll be conditioned to block it, so you hit them with the fake cross up.
  2. It will work on crouching and fatal confirms, but it's in no way optimal. As for your first question. Idk how to answer that. You figure out how to play a character by actually playing them in matches. You know his strengths and his blind spots, you forge your play around that. Watch videos for reference and learn combos, MUs and player habits. :/ Maybe someone else can give you a better answer.

  10. I've made 236a connect from 1 backdash away. I tested the range of it because doing it regularly from the corner after blocking Ken's dp doesn't work. Even at the closest possible 2d, a delay 236a will connect.

  12. 2d fc > 236a works at all ranges applicable if you're closer then you just need to delay the knife a bit. But for stability's sake I wonder if 214a whiff > dash 5c > 2c etc would work...

  18. I found that the 2d fc combo does not work on Akihiko. No matter how I adjusted it I could not get 2b (1) > 5c to connect on him. So the combo has to go 2b (1) > 5d on him. If anyone has any better luck, let me know.
