  1. Hey abstract this vid will answer your question nicely- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97eHOKCgu60. He does it midscreen on Rachel at 1:07.
  2. So Hakumen ceases to exist? If so why would Kokonoe decide to work with him if she figured it all out?
  3. This just leads two one question. How the hell does Nu and Ragna become the Black Beast if in the true ending if Ragna is saved by Noel(? I can't really remember)? Does this just mean that there are two time lines that exist one with Ragna falling in and one without?
  4. I say C bug+B bug= massive win no matter where you are.
  5. I think it would be better if you just applied insane amounts of pressure while the opponent is cursed rather than just sitting back and button mashing away your curse. 1:52-2:42 in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97eHOKCgu60 is a great example of this.
  6. @Ryu: recurse instead of midcombo throw @Phantom: Haru doesn't play in any of the videos he just downloads them onto his youtube page. He probably downloads them off of nicovideo
  7. kousaka, you will be surprised that HaruShinobi has given us not one but two awesome combo vids in one day! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97eHOKCgu60
  8. I know I should not be posting in the Ragna forum since I don't main Ragna, but this video is so awesome I thought that it would be alright this one time- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jLDflxlK64. (It does include midcombo throws, but I'm guessing that they were just added in to make the video look cool.)
  9. Oops. Sorry about the double post.
  10. Alright, sorry guys about being an a**hole. To make up for that I will post this awesome video of combos to do out of a throw with curse- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pewrI7c8qTA.
  11. Meh. Just discount anything I say... but If you get a counter with 5C you can j5A>j6A/B/C>jump/8>j5A>j5C>j5D then the rest of the combo. I tested this on all of the characters and I believe that the only person it does not work on is Carl but you can just use different aerial combos on him.
  12. Yes of course because when 2D connects you'll always have 50% heat and the opponent will be weak enough to get a kill off of him. Although I will admit that in very specific circumstances will using 236236C will be more useful. Like going straight to j2A. Oh wait they can tech out of it before it connects. The only other option is j5A which does less damage than j6A. Err...Yes for these specific combos. You can connect other combos from a longer distance but not these especially not the 6A>c loop. Maybe it can be done with the triple air dive. I will test the triple dive and if I find it possible I will admit that you are right about that.
  13. Why would you ever want to use 236236C in a combo if you've already started one. The amount of proration it creates is HUGE. Also, 3C does not cross up even if it comes out on the other side of the opponent because you are still on the same side of them. For something to cross up you would have to get on the other side of the opponent without the opponent changing the direction of their block. If you want some combos that start with 2D here are some ones that do ALOT of damage (6000-6500) that don't use any heat: If you do 2D while directly next to an oppenent- 2D>release C/B bug at the same time>6A>6C>5C>2C>release B/A bug>6C>5C>2C>release B/A bug>6C>release A bug>5C>2C>release B/A bug>j5C>j5D In less technical terms: 2D>release C/B bug>3 C loops>recurse If you are slightly further away- 2D>release C/B bug at the same time>j6A>jump straight up>j2A>j2B>j2C>release C/B bug>6C>5C>2C>release B/A bugs>6C>release A bug>5C>2C>release B/A bugs>j5C>j5D In less technical terms- 2D>release C/B bug>j6A>triple dive loop>2 C loops> recurse Notes: Getting the triple C loops depends on how far away you are from the corner, so most of the time just stick with two reps. Also, to start this combo you have to be almost directly next to the opponent to do so or else the C and B bugs won't connect in a way that would allow you to start either of these combos. One last thing is that you can start either of these combos immediately after getting a counter hit with 2B.
  14. Alright, so I have been trying to figure this out lately, but I'm not sure if I have this figured out 100%. When you're on the defensive with Arakune you use 5C on opponents who are air dashing in, 2B on opponents who are jumping in and 2A/2B/2D after a block string. Is that right?
  15. Hey lunaris. Here's a combo you can do if you get a counter hit off of an airborne opponent with 2B. 2B>5B>j5A>j5C>j5D>release C/B bug>c loop>c loop>recurse. Also, the aerial combo is basically anything you can do off of 5C, I just had a shorter one as an example. It seems to me that 2B is used most often as a poke against airborne opponents when the homing cloud is out or at least that's what I've seen from Souji/Hima/Fumo.
  16. I've been reading these posts about whether or not to get a stick. What I have to say about that is that if you ever want to do the 6A->5D->236BC->C loop combo while the opponent is cursed you will NEED a stick because you can't release the D bug during the beginning of the combo or else it will fuck it up. I found it physically impossible to use one thumb to press D and then press B and C while still holding D. So if you ever want to do a combo like that that recurses the opponent while the opponent is already cursed you will NEED a stick.
  17. You know what, I don't know. I'm fairly sure that it is Fumo mainly because of how consistently he pulls off j2a>5b (he does it every single time). Fumo is the only Arakune I've ever seen to pull of j2a>5b every single time. Also, these were just player matches, so he may have just been going for style points and not to win as fast as possible. Although the playlist you posted, the only one where I'm sure it is Fumo is the vid where it's him vs Kyaku in the sewer area. The rest I believe are Souji or some other Arakune player or maybe Fumo.
  18. Here are some amazing videos of the hands down best Arakune player of all time, Fumo. Hell he's the best Blazblue player out there right now and these videos make the all of the other Arakune players look like the scrubbiest of scrubs. Prepare to have your eyes explode after experiencing the pure awesomeness of these videos. http://es.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm8023799 http://es.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm8023299 Here are some more videos that I'm not exactly sure if they're Fumo or not, I just know that they don't cause the same level of brain imploding: http://es.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm7980011 http://es.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm7880996
  19. Or the game glitched. Also, here's another combo vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHz_cTCcd8M.
