Ah, I hate bumping an old thread, but this is what I found from searching. Can someone please explain how nicofox works. I downloaded and installed it but I don't even know where it is/what it's doing. Flashgot/get didn't work at all, always DLs 25KB files of nothing.

After about two hits you dizzy so blocking is pointless. The susanoo's attacks count as a support so instead of substituting behind youll just go straight up and fall back into it. aaaaand that's why people call it broken. on the other hand since he cant substitute thats the one flaw. To beat Itachi's awakening for the most part: Use Hidan support, run away until Hidan support recovers, wait till he is right next to you and summon Hidan. Wait till Hidan's combo finishes and then start your character's longest combo. By then Itachi's awakening will be almost over and you'll have done a lot of damage to him in the process. Every other awakening is garbage in this game and doesnt need a strategy.

This game should be renamed to "How hard can you mash R2" Storm. That said I got my platinum trophy so I won't be turning it on again for a while. I used Kakuzu/Hidan/Orochimaru. It was a meh team with nothing broken (kakuzu awakening is kinda good) but I still kicked ass with it.

I dunno if I like the badge system because its a good idea or because I'd get a top 8 SB badge and im an egotistical bastard. Probably the latter lets do this.

Yeah I posted about Bang and Carl in the matchup thread a while back, but I didn't know it would work for back throw. Regardless I dont understand throw -> web nail. I've never seen a web nail combo do as much damage as the standard bnail cancel oki combo (d.5C ... 6C j.C) and even if it did do slightly more it wouldn't be worth the resource. Also if your opponent bursts on the first hit at least you'd already have 1200 damage instead of 300. Really it has nothing going for it except seal combos. Or was that really the only reason people use it and I racked my brain for nothing...

Ok after playing Valk offline I can say with 100% confidence IBing the tackle ruins Valk. I'll say this match is 5.5-4.5 Bang now. Valk still has plenty of tools.

I've secretly been watching videos of this game and I think I've finally decided to preorder it. Why is it so expensive though? Is it just cause it's an import? I'll probably main Lilica and Zenia.

He might have meant pool 1. I got 2nd in pool 1 and my friends wanted to head out around 5:30. I kinda wanted to stay for casuals but I was overruled. I already heard Zinac say BB was only taking top 4 so I took that as the end of it. I'd have opened a salt mine myself if I heard they took top 8 after I had already left.

You're pretty good, but every time I see a Bang land 6C or 2B with no d.6A combo I become very sad. Also d.2D rarely works if you dont d.2B before hand. Should prevent you from whiffing that as much.

Please tell me someone recorded grand finals. I wanted to see them so bad

It's also really easy to 5D on reaction with Noel. You can also 5D through Zaneiga on reaction super easy. Hazama really needs a different approach to mixup against noel.

Iunno if that's weird they mustve messed up the bracket. I remember each opponent very clearly. I even remember all their names except the first two bang players. Sorry Hero I left cause all my friends wanted to leave. I really feel bad about it cause I wanted to fight you and some other people. Also missed grand finals expecting them to be streamed. D:

I don't think he ever did that actually. If he did it was much rarer than 2A d.2A command grab and corner whiff 2A command grab. And yeah I really wished I used command grab more cause Zidane didn't jump a lot. Very respectful of my pressure and I'm sure I could've landed some. His reaction speed is crazy though iunno.

So here's how I feel about Zidane's Hazama: "Lol command grab the proration is so bad i don't even care hit me with that all day" "..." "Fuck I got command grabbed 6 times and died."

I did ask Zidane for advice for the Hazama matchup in the shoutout/results thread but he obviously didnt see the post. Yeah I did say my bracket was free except for you I guess that was out of line since I'm calling you out for the same thing, my bad. I honestly did not mean to imply that my perfect meant I was better than you (i dont even know how it turned into that). I don't know what exactly I DID mean, but I don't think it was meaningless either. More of a self satisfaction thing. But I definitely was not downplaying JetM. In terms of experience and skill with his character JetM is a much better player than me. I was only saying I saw what I saw on the stream and he didn't get as close as I did. If you say that he was tougher than me I believe you. Whether he played worse or better than me against you has no bearing on what I think of him as a player. He had a much harder matchup and I know he played it well. Me and JetM go way back we were top 2 in the last two midwest tournies, and I would never talk shit about him. Sorry for overreacting I do that a lot. No hard feelings, maybe we can play online sometime.
