If the Hazamas you fight seriously mash out jayoku that hard everytime they have meter, just run up and block o-o. Since when have reversals been guaranteed, even in America... And as far as IB Jayoku goes, just punch and block.

Arakune's FCs are really good now that I think about it. And you know 2C is multi purpose haha. Either 100% curse or 100% life if they are already cursed. Mad proration. And I honestly don't think Jayoku is the best in the game, Carl j.B gets that damage without the meter if he's good. What do you even get with FC Jayoku? I thought only 5K was possible (without another jayoku of course 100 meter dear lord) and tons of characters can get 5K off fatal counters.

I think we can easily have an in depth civil discussion about this. I'm truly curious because I don't even know what moves are FCs for certain characters much less what they are capable of. What constitutes a "good" FC: Easy to hit with FC damage exceeds (preferably by a lot) non-CH damage FC damage exceeds (preferably by a lot) character's average damage Meterless (aka no RC needed to combo lol Bang j623B and no Supers sorry jayoku) (Optional) Has the ability to mixup, aka not a mid hit. Just based on what I know so far I'd say Carl j.B is the best, but I'd love to be enlightened.

O_O Ok does Tsujikawa go by any other names cause he was the one guy in top 8 that I said "Who is this guy never heard of him" and he ended up winning. Sick and I'm so glad no Bang was in the winning team XD. Also did Tsujikawa lose to anyone? Did his partner ever have to play? edit: oh is Tsujikawa the pink Tao from acho? I always though that was Kazu XD. But yeah thats probably the best Tao I've seen. Still beating Satoshi and Tetsu is pretty damn sick o-o

nvm d.6A combos do work on Hazama but you need to delay the j623B. the timing is pretty loose. Also on Mu just use 6A without a dash or the j623B whiffs on her as well.

Awesome gimmick I did on accident. Any combo into poison nail land 6B. Can do some funny things to a neutral tech :p. Also delay slightly after poison nail 6C. 4185 damage air unblockable. Can't really be punished if they back tech.

Already tried that. Youd think it would but it doesn't. Got around to character specific testing and I am pleased with the results. No matter what you do the j623B will whiff on Hazama. j4C will whiff on Litchi unless you hit with 6A as soon as possible. Everyone else there is no timing it works perfectly not matter what. so add d.6A combos not possible for Hazama somewhere, and also that 2D 5B combo is CH only my bad.

New max damage combos using Nezu's new link. The combo Nezu used it in ended on the j623B though and he went for 5C tech trap. I don't think Sho even looks here to edit these into the max damage true oki combo section but if a mod could do it that'd be nice. I love these combos nezu4life Actually the only starters that can go into this but only provides half oki is 6B CH and jD non CH. Everything else the 5B is techable (5C, 5B starters etc cant go past j623B)

What is this. It's not like we are talking about Tager or Hakumen. Tao doubling Bang's damage? Bang's new combos better do at least 3K no matter what they look like. No one deserves to be the next Rachel. Saying Bang can win by doing 2K 5 times cause his pressure is so good is just like saying Rachel can win by doing 2K 5 times cause her zoning game is so good. Personal opinion *puts on flame shield*

There's currently not a single practical combo that doesnt have at least 1 palm thrust and most have 2. Also I don't think there's a web nail combo with no palm thrusts that does over 2500 damage and if his damage output turns into that he NEEDS those nails for pressure. But in all honesty it depends a lot on new proration values as well. Who knows he might have a new 623Bless combo that does over 3K with no web nails. But I think it's kind of mean to make us relearn our character regardless of whether he ends up worse or better than before. Ok ill wait for more info now. First impressions pretty meaningless.

Can anyone provide an alternate translation for the "Heavenly Phoenix Thrust no longer causes wallbounce for air and ground"? That makes no sense cause heavenly phoenix thrust is the name of the air one. The ground one is called Double Palm Thrust. I can't even picture what a Bang combo would look like if neither caused wallbounce. He'd have even shorter combos then in CT. Also most of these changes seem pretty legitimate already and they're likely to be even better with more loketests. Here's hoping for a balanced game even though people will never stop complaining either way.

for that first thing I completely forgot I have a button mapped to A+B+C and I use that for barrier and rapid. I didn't realize normal A+B barrier wouldn't work. Anyways 1A+B+C still exists the timing is just mad gay now I get TRM 75% of the time so I dont' bother. The second thing is cool I didn't know that
