Yeah, there's two lip looking things that you press into the button. You can use a small screwdriver or whatever, and just pup the plunger part out. So you could take a black and white button apart, and end up with a black rim/white plunger button, and a white rim/black plunger button. EDIT- Thanks Seadragon.

Also Lambda TK Crescent loops, Carl 2D loops, etc. People have them. I like them. Just these chars gameplay don't revolve around only this (I guess it does a little more with Lambda,) where as with Tao/Makoto, if you can't do your loop, you lose. Maybe Arcsys doesn't want their chars to be one trick ponies. Maybe I'm too hungover to be posting.
