  6. I was gonna say. They all say it was funny... the first time.
  7. he just guessed wrong every time lol
  8. It's time to join u-- > No, I will not switch to Hakumen. You're already getting that yomi.
  9. It's the thread where you play me.
  10. What is confusing about it? It is when you are getting up after getting knocked down. Also I don't think Haku 5C beats Noel 4D. Maybe in the corner.
  11. More damage, game speed was faster. Everybody was broken in their own way. (well not really, but still) Tager could get like 8k off an RC combo. Just doing something like 5D > atomic collider > 6C > 5D would get you like 3-4k. Damage scaling was way less. Combos were shorter but did a lot of damage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=041l_YN_qbs Guard libra (the guardbreak system) also promoted aggressive attacking. You had a shared bar between players, and it was like a tug of war. Whenever you blocked an attack, it swung towards you. When it was all the way over you got guard broken. Compare that to guard primers where you can block forever and just have to look out for certain moves.
  12. Nah. Don't you remember how in CS1 1 2 round match would take like 10 minutes. In CT a 3 rounder would be over in like 4. Go look at match video lengths on YouTube.
  13. Everyone stopped doing that since CT though because it takes so much longer.
  14. It could be for corner carry or that type of thing.
  15. > ***** Hakumen can always escape with a counter move, except the 6C Full charged Unblockable. In that case is best to alternate the j.B + 3]D[ with j.B + 63214]D[ (Anima) or even 2]D[. but i could have told you before i even saw that that he can, since it is not a true UB, it's just a high and low so close that it is impossible for someone to guess right. but they can still get lucky.
  16. where is nini i miss baiting his IBs
  17. Yeah half the Makoto mods are just carry overs from CS1. Actually not even that, more like players.
  18. that avatar... using troll tech to win grand finals is my goal next time i go to a major
  19. Ah yes. Well, I always just play 1v1s. I get bored if it is more than that although I make exceptions sometimes. I think when people say "netplay" they mean just diving into the player matches and getting any random match of any quality. I only play good connections and FT10s usually so there is none of that. It's not like the game is holding a gun to your head forcing you to play in shitty rooms.
  20. The real reason offline play is emphasized is because you want to grow the community. If everybody is playing at their house all the time then there is nobody to play with. And having people to play with in person gives you some good resources to tap into. But there are plenty of those online too thanks to Dustloop. And it's not like it is either/or, a lot of players like LK do both.
  21. If the connection is good then it's a valid tool. Otherwise you could just log on and 10-0 everybody no sweat. I mean, I've played both and it is pretty much the same if there is no lag.
