  1. let's play i'm actually free for now
  2. Yup I liked all the Attitude era guys. Undertaker, Austin, Triple H, Kane, Mankind, The Rock, Big Show, etc. Also Vince was awesome. THE CORPORATION I guess I'll have to check out what happened in this Wrestlemania.
  3. BB is one of the few joys i have left in this world why must you destroy it
  4. big room + lag + tao -> time to get back to work
  5. I thought he needed Noel all along so he wouldn't just be a ghost. And also so he could have her kill Amaterasu.
  6. Also Hazama nearly shits himself when Makoto mentions Noel in that timeline as if it would ruin everything. But why would that be when Hazama went so far out of his way to have Noel become Mu in the timeline she was actually around.
  7. I like the commentary. Whenever you got me in the corner I had no idea what was going to come next. For counters, if I mess up using them it doesn't mean to rely mostly on blocking, it means I need to get better at reading that player. Eventually I get better at feeling out what they will do the more I play them. I mean, I can just sit there and block, but the fun part for me is figuring out the opponent to the point where I'm already countering their next move before they even made it. You also had my reflexes pretty messed up from all your corner mixups. Those ice swords really messed up my normal anti airing instincts too. Training stage reminds me of the Capcom VS SNK 2 training stage. The best one. I do scumbag post-round goldbursts all the time. :P Usually after round 1~ It's more of a getting myself in the zone type of thing. Holy crap you saved so many. I'm also surprised you remember the exact damage you did for each combo in half these matches. Jin 6B singlehandedly destroys me between it being a throw and counter bait. That corner Gurren > 5C gurren spam doesn't work in Extend. So many mistakes. The struggle is real
  8. Something about Relius I wanted to bring up. In that alternate Makoto timeline, the way Relius talks, it's as if his knowledge carries on between time loops or something. Does anyone know what's going on with that? He says things like "this knowledge will be useful for the next iteration."
  9. What was Ragna's?
  10. GGs to my room too. Has a damn good bed in it.
  11. -He's the Hero of the Ikaruga War. -He was always "likeable" and respected during his Academy days apparently, and popular. -Ragna is the Anti-Hero, which means anything remotely "good" that Jin does story-wise automatically puts him a notch above Ragna in terms of being the "hero". -Ragna is a part of the Black Beast, which is the main "bad"/"evil" thing in the game, and Jin's entire existence is to be the opposite or to defeat it . -The Power of Order stuff. -Even given his position in the NOL, he doesn't even like how the do things. -He's more or less worshiped by Tsubaki. Outside of him being initially crazy about Ragna (due to Yukianesa more than anything), everything else points towards him being a "hero" from the outside looking in. Well, don't forget how vicious and bloodthirsty he is when dealing with opponents. Pretty much all you have to do is look at him wrong and he'll kill you.
  12. Groups are where discussions go to die.
  13. Well, it's better than being an emo bitch and complaining all the time about his fate.
  14. I thought the manual itself describes the NOL as pretty much corrupt and constantly having to deal with some internal strife. And then it finally culminated in the Ikaruga rebellion which they put down by burning the homeland to the ground or using that space satellite thing on it.
  15. > Ragna and Jin Well, putting aside the fact that Jin was a villain until recently... Killing people isn't evil by itself. What matters is why. If someone attacks you and you have to kill in self defense, that's hardly your fault. But if you're doing it purely for your enjoyment then there's no excuse.
  16. Old 6B best corpse stomp.
  17. Those alignments never make sense half the time anyway. And I was under the impression most of us were talking about just plain evil, not D&D evil. Also even if you were to use it, he'd be neutral evil since he'd still be hurting others, etc. The neutral would fall on the law/chaos axis rather than good/evil.
  18. Hakumen countering and cutting lasers shouldn't be a problem for Mu. Cutting a laser just makes a bubble which just lets him camp for a little. Eventually he will have to try and leave, in which case you just lock him down again. If he tries to camp then that's fine for you, set up more steins and just run down the clock.
  19. That's not how it worked for Hakumen VS Ragna.
  20. Who would you say is evil then?
  21. Yeah, I noticed that too. I switched the order halfway. Haha, Ragna and Platinum. Guy never gets a break.
  22. But it sounds like he can take them off at will... which makes a pretty bad seal.
  23. Azrael is basically Broly. He doesn't seem like the "major villain" type since he has no grand plans. Just go around and blow shit up. I guess that could be a whole plot arc, but it's more likely that the cast will be busy dealing with Terumi, then AZRAEL OUT OF NOWHERE to throw everybody's plans down the toilet. I would definitely put him as a villain though. Just the brutish unsophisticated type. If you don't care about human life and just do whatever you want no matter the harm it causes, then that's a villain.
  24. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyjuVvvEtS4#t=2h04m45s this is the most ragna-like corner pressure i've ever seen
  25. They're using 3 rounds to win per match... haven't seen that since CT.
