Worst comes to worst I can just link actual match videos that show the combo.

Jin seemed more important than Ragna to me in CS. In CS Ragna kind of just loafed around and then freed Noel. But it's Jin that everybody is telling he has places to go and people to see and a destiny to confront.

[CSE-CP] Jin Questions and Answers Thread - How Do I Shot Ice?
mAc Chaos replied to Moy_X7's topic in Jin Kisaragi
Yeah I do that with Haku 3C. I didn't know it was a guaranteed thing though, I just figured I was catching people who weren't paying attention or trying to lay down too long. I get the guard point DP thing. Although I was thinking some safe jumps, like in SF, you would already be landing before the DP even comes out, that's why I was wondering. It just LOOKS like you're going to hit them. -

Why don't they? That DP of hers probably. What a lot of people do is whiff a 2A during my neutral getup and then go for a throw or some other counter bait immediately afterwards. The 2A whiff makes you think they're going for a meaty so it might cause them to counter. -

Well, maybe it's less warming up and more conditioning. You usually just stick to your own game plan, whereas I tend to adjust my style against the person I'm playing and that takes a little while to set in. That team match I got perfected against Nemesis who was using Hazama (it was Nemesis right?), I thought it was Ctrl so I started doing things totally different than I would have if it was Nemesis. Different call outs, different wakeup games, based on their habits.

I kind of feel like Noel is the audience surrogate character. We actually find out things with her. Ragna fits too though. You kind of start to see things revealed in his CT story mode. He runs into almost everyone. Sees Hakumen and Nu, and you wonder what's up with them, etc.

lol this guy tried to outbid me on ebay with 2 seconds left, I got him with 1 second left. stay mad It makes a definite difference for me. I noticed when I just go in cold I tend to drop combos and be off for most of the night, whereas if I spend just 10 or 20 minutes in training mode I'll be doing way better. But even if you go in cold you warm up over the series of matches, if you play a lot. If it's a 1v1 that's easy, and I noticed I tend to do better after 10 or so matches. I always lose at first and then start winning. But if it's a huge room then you end up playing like once every ten minutes so not only is your head not in the game anymore but every match is basically your first match. At least for me. I noticed the same happened with Skeletal. He was getting bodied until he left the room to do some training and then he came back and dominated. But it's not a big deal, it's more of a "do I want to go ham tonight or just fuck around with everyone" question.

All right, all right. I'll get on now.

It was a once in a lifetime thing. The planets aligned. Just like the meteor shower the other day.

[CP] News & Gameplay Discussion (Old)
mAc Chaos replied to kosmos badgirl's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
Saying "It gives you a bonus" is pretty obvious, the question is how it compares to your other options outside of a vacuum. I mean, you could say "it gives you a bonus" if you spent 50 heat to add 600 damage to the end of a Ragna combo, but nobody would do it unless it was for the kill because you could do so many other things instead with it. You have to take into account what else you can do. -
Sounds like I need to keep doing what I'm doing. :3 But splitting people up isn't as fun. I thought of having everybody warm up in smaller rooms and then joining a big room later though for team games or something. I could get on, but whenever I play right after I wake up all of my reflexes are slow. I'm still a zombie.
-
> just woke up welp I'll play again maybe tonight, but this time it'll be a smaller room since I want to play enough to warm up and such. Depends how many people are on. Isn't that the same thing.
-
FYI that Hotaru thing only happens when Relius is the one waking up. Depends on the timing. After this match I'm gonna call it a night.
-
Can you hit Relius out of that twirling dodge thing he does. Does it get hit by lows.
-
Must sleep soon.
-
The Gear super does. Can't tell you how many times I went for Hotaru and had it whiff right through it and got caught by the gears.
-
It cleanly beats Hotaru.
-
I like Skeletal's Hakumen. Much more by the book.
-
It's part of the game. What is up with Relius' gear distortion. I don't get it. It does so little damage. Can you combo off it at least. I think it beats Hotaru though.
-
Well, that's what the Relius forums say. Or did. Can't find the posts. As for him being too easy, it's probably just because nobody knows the matchup. I know I have no idea what's even happening on the screen half the time since I never really fought him. All the stuff I was doing against him the other night was pretty much random stabs in the dark.

NONE SHALL PASS

I noticed. :P I thought Relius was supposed to be bad. He seems pretty decent. You did like a 7k combo to me once.
