That happens to me a lot. Everything goes according to plan, and then they screw up. Hazama has that same 2C bullshit though. All the post CT characters have stuff like that.

I think that means less that it's a "balance problem" and more like an intentional choice. Like Capcom and their "built in" tiers.

You mean badlime's? I rush him down all the time. If anything turtling lets him get tons of charges. Not that you can really stop them if you don't want to run face first into her 2C. Just have to be keeping them uncomfortable.

I got hype as hell when we started those Haku Lambda matches.

Yeah, that's why I like playing people for long sets. Some people are afraid of others learning their style and catching on, but that's the point. What are you going to do in a tournament or something if somebody figures you out and you have no idea how to respond. You get fucked. But if you play like that all the time then you probably already have the counter to their counter to your counter figured out a long time ago. Plus it's fun. Although realistically, in a tournament most of the time they won't have enough time to learn the ins and outs of your style unless you played them before or they adapt fast. But just doing this stuff to improve yourself is worth it.

Screwing up my finisher has been happening a lot to me tonight. Kept going for Shippu and just standing there doing nothing. I blame not warming up. :3 I always start off weak and get stronger as the matches go on and I get warmed up and into the opponent's head. I noticed other people tend to be the other way around. Start off fresh and then get tired and careless later.

All right time for some 1v1s to finish off the night. Yeah, it's a trade off. In a normal 1v1 6 man room you could have a streak of playing but otherwise you get nothing. With the teams everybody plays at least once each match but you don't play any extra. I'll just have it be 1v1s now so we can get more matches in though before I sleep. Somehow it became 4 AM already. Ctrl I'll invite you, but watch out it's a 6 man room.

I was just helping him unleash his burning spirit. I switched from the SNK style, even though that's my favorite type, since it looked like nobody was getting enough time to play and warm up. That's why Nemesis left.
