Anyone wanna play. I feel like some 1v1s. How do people read my posts.

In CS he decided to leave it to Jin too. I think he doesn't think of that Tsubaki as "his" Tsubaki so it's not his place to do what Jin should.

A scrub is someone who has a bad attitude and refuses to learn, not someone who is new. Somebody could be playing for 10 years and still be a scrub. It's just that instead of dealing with legit tactics they'll call throws cheap and rage about things being OP. Because they refuse to take accountability for their mistakes, they never examine them and improve.

The bottom of the screen says the host's name usually when you have a room selected in the search.
-
Damn. The whole time I posted I was thinking "I hope he starts doing them now so I can surprise him with counters BAHAHAHAHA".
-
Really? I don't see that many usually.
-
Yeah me too. I feel like I'm scavenging in the dark to find something I know is supposed to be there. Anyway, I should sleep.

Nah, you can't do two of the same special move twice in a row. It's not like you can do Renka > Renka. Well, maybe you can if you wait long enough, but not after the jump cancel. Late jump cancel isn't that big a deal since it just gives Tager more time to confirm you're not falling. Yeah, just tested it. You can't even do another Hotaru with another move in between. Hotaru > j.B > can't do another Hotaru even though normally j.B can go into it. Doing 2C instead works fine too, but it can get j.D'd. But they would have to basically plan on it for that to happen. If they barrier block your 2C, the 2C pins them into place in the air and you can cancel the 2C into AC and grab them anyway.
-
Nah, I don't mean beating it during the move. I mean, you do Hotaru, they block it, and they can basically punish it which normally doesn't happen. But we found a way with Tager. It was funny since nobody ever got that far into what kind of things can happen afterwards so all Hakus and Tagers just treat it as perfectly safe even though he could basically punish it like Inferno Divider. I watched Alzarath playing with his Haku at a major against my brother and getting blown up after getting his Hotaru blocked too since he didn't know the Hotaru punish was coming. Can't remember anymore though... I can't believe I'm forgetting. But basically, if you did Hotaru, you had to gamble that you were gonna catch some mashing or button pressing, and not having it blocked. I think it was something simple, like, you block Hotaru, and then wait to see if Haku jump cancels. If he jump cancels, AC will beat every single thing he can do. If he doesn't jump cancel, he falls into a 360 or 720 and can't do anything about it either.
-
There was an almost bulletproof way for Tager to deal with Hotaru after blocking it that I found out playing with my brother, but it's been so long that I can't remember anymore. Argh. Something about... 2C... or AC...
-
It got nerfed by making him go higher up into the air, but it's only going to come into play in a few situations. But in return he does like 9k off it now. Tager is like one of the only characters that can beat Hotaru straight out though. Hotaru is actually unsafe on Tager.
-
We've become a Haku hive mind.
-
lol, it got stronger if anything with OD. Stay mad.

You could never cancel on whiff. If you whiff it you're fucked. Unless I didn't know all this time. But I've had my Hotaru backdash 720'd by my brother too many times for that to be true. You just fall helplessly into Tager's arms. If you mean on block, then yeah you should, as long as you manage to land it on them. If it completely misses though you can't do anything but fall. It should still be good to catch mashing though since the character will be extending their hitbox into it. It's only more likely to whiff if you have a small character like Noel and she does nothing but crouch block.
-
No, when you do Hotaru it raises Hakumen higher into the air. So it will probably whiff on crouching characters with smaller hit boxes and be more punishable unless they shove themselves into it.
-
I just think, "Damn, I should've thought of that" and turn it on them. Gonna be whiffing a lot more though once CP comes around and it gets the height of it raised.
-
It's not that unpunishable.
-
I just love doing it for throw mixup. I love it so much.
-
I used to be so careful about baiting DPs. Now I just fly into them until I finally land a hit.
-
It's ctrl's fault. He wouldn't give up. I had to see it through to the end. Yeah the first few times I was surprised, but after a while I started expecting it and was able to combo.
-
Ah, no wonder. For some reason I thought it was the other way around. As long as it hit me it would get used up, so I was like "I'll just stand here and block them all, ITS BULLETPROOF". Then I decided to try and cut them instead. And I can never tell what the hell Relius is doing.
-
I was just like "Can he do this all day, what the fuck."
-
If you got on 360 I'd get on.
