Haku's always had a problem punishing bursts. Especially without stars. If it's in the air it's easy, but suppose you're doing... 5C > Renka (1)> Kishuu, and then before the 2C they burst. If you block it, I'm pretty sure they will not be in the air, so what can you do to punish it? Is there enough time for a 2A or something? Otherwise they can just recover and block. And the 2A won't be any good without some stars. If there was some better default punish it would be better. I suppose 2D is always an option. But it's kind of a poverty one.

Yeah, I wouldn't do it unless I felt like I had an extremely good read. It's worked before. (It also cut off their air approach, as sometimes the Carl would do empty IAD or IAD and just whiff a move like j.A because they knew I was on a trigger finger with my counters waiting for j.2C) You have to get a few layers into the conditioning. But normally I just 2D or block.

Is it possible to do the corner loop off any of these j.B j.A corner carry combos? I did it once by accident but I couldn't remember which combination of moves I used. I was just freestyling. Or maybe it was j.A j.B.

Well, I would have explored Shippu but the only time I've been on Extend basically is to troll Skeletal Minion in mirrors. :3 I'll have to set some time aside to explore the game a little so I can at least flesh out the combo thread or work with what people give me. I'll also comb through the various videos and see what good combos there are. Just listing peculiar or good things for moves in general is a good idea though. The one thing I need to grasp is how different moves work with each other in corner combos, so I can learn how to exchange them around for different situations, but that usually comes with lots of playing. (For instance, when you should use 6A in the combo and when to use something else instead.)

@Blade: Well, I meant for helping us with matchup stuff. There's no reason it has to be just us. Although might as well start with us since we don't know what everyone else is doing. There's also lots of Haku posters on this forum who contribute, but I don't know what their matchup knowledge is.

Oh yeah, I could help with Noel and Jin too, but should take it one step at a time for now. Basically if they were in CT I can help. :P

Mountain Dew. For Ragna and the rest, it's not like I have to hog the thread. I'll just throw my own info up there in the opening post and you can post right afterwards with your own stuff. We also have Skeletal Minion we could try and get at. I am always watching and waiting on Dustloop. (Not really, but still. WHO KNOWS) I can be summoned with the proper incantation when needed. Let's see, there's also psycofang... and Sophisticat.

Anyway, matchup wise, I don't nearly have the same experience with all the new characters and matchups with every iteration as I used to, but I still have enough to have a firm grasp of Ragna, Tager and Lambda, I think. So if you guys want me to help with any of that, let me do those three and you guys work on other ones that you think others can't fill in as easily. Although I still need some real Extend experience... I guess the Haku mirror is one I could do too.

We don't really need mods to add matchup info and stuff. Unless you want to use it as a reward for it or something.

Is it possible to do something like, 3C, 2B > Gurren, hop 5B (or 5A), j.B > j.2A > IAD j.B > j.A, 2C > j.2A, IAD j.2A, j.C?

He came on DL and made a rage about it once. It was pretty much that he felt it was OK because mirror matches are boring or the other person was being cheap and he didn't want to deal with it.

Nah, MTW loses to half the DPs, for one. And it takes 50 heat, for two.
