I've found that you need to be very close to land the combo. Maybe you're too far away? The version without j.B, anyway. I don't know about that one you have there.

The newer one is kind of hollow and brittle. The older 360 dpad is actually better. At least for strength.

I didn't do anything, that's the weird part. I just tried to do a move, heard a crackling crumbling sound, looked down and noticed there was no more dpad and I could see inside the controller. I tried to put it back together while you jumped around in confusion but it was no good. It was one of those newer, adjustable dpads, the silver ones. Turns out they aren't as tough as the older less fancy kind. Anyway, that was fun. I would've played more if my controller didn't self destruct. You were doing some weird but neat combos. I kept laughing at how I would barely pull out a win at .1% life every time. :P

It always blows my mind when Lambda's start mashing 5C. Sometimes it even hits me because I'm so surprised.

I'd play Shin, but I have some sort of talent to make him leave our matches with his confidence shattered. :3

I used to be driven to get deep into every aspect of the game. But then pretty much everybody I played with offline and online stopped playing, and all the effort I put into the game felt like a huge waste of time. It's kind of a vicious cycle. So I can't really blame people who don't put that much time into the game. If anything it seems like the smarter thing to do. :P Why would you waste your time on a dead end when you could be doing better things. At least they get what they want out of the game, then go on to do other things with the extra time. Still, it was worth it for the good times it had before. Nothing lasts forever.

I believe I saw a combo route in a video that was something like: [starter] > 623AA > j.2A > AD j.B > j.A > 2C > j.B > j.2A > AD j.2A > j.C That might be better to do instead of the old 623AA combo.

I think just doing 5B should work without the 5A, it's just tighter. Does that work? I suppose I'll have to start adding exceptions for characters with small hitboxes.
