Lambda's 3C beats Haku's at the max range. Or at least at the starting round distance. Well, not so much beats, but that it has a longer reach if you're not spaced properly. Actually, now that I think about it, it might beat it because her hitbox retracts during the beginning of the move, causing 3C to miss. I've certainly been hit out of it a lot when both of us went for 3C at the start of the round even though Haku's 3C is supposed to be faster.

Against good Lambdas you can't just wait for an opportunity to present itself; the Lambda will just gladly time you out. You have to make the opportunity and force the situation.

lulz. Well, most of your wins were in the first half. Then I started winning like 8 in a row and it was glorious, so that's probably why. Then Luna gave you some advice which I think you took and you almost killed me in one of those rounds with literally nothing but run up throw like 8 times in a row.

I was just making up combos as I went along when we fought. :P That's the good thing about Hakumen. All of his basics are pretty much always the same in every game. If he was like Ragna and got reworked completely there was no way I would be able to do anything.

I dunno, I've played the same people before back to back in different versions of BB and had it be wildly different. So I don't know how else to explain it than it to be the netcode. But who knows. People I had great connections with would be unplayable, and people I never could play with before would be decent.

Obviously people's connections play a part in it. But everyone else having a bad experience and then Zeth having a good connection doesn't necessarily mean everyone else is imagining it. Maybe Zeth just has a great connection and everyone else represents the average instead of Zeth being the standard. I'm mostly comparing it to my own experiences, game to game. My connection didn't change -- the game did, but then I experienced changes in the netcode. So then it makes more sense to assume that it's something about the netcode that caused the difference. You have to compare it to your own experiences in the previous games. Do you think there were differences between them, or was it all just your connection all along?

When are you going to give up and admit the netcode is bad. :P How long must you CLING to these SCRAPS

Well, I mean for help on mixups. Watching videos is a good idea in general. You can see how they might deal with similar tactics and you might see a way of dealing with it that you didn't think of.

If you want ideas on how to handle people up close, try watching some Haku vids and do what they do.

This is why I don't like all those placeholders. Hop means just hop forward. Haku's dash. You do Gurren and then hop forward and start an aerial combo that has Haku ascend like he's going up a stepladder. I'm not sure which juggle that's referring to, but the classic always was: 3C > 2B > Gurren > hop 5A > j.A > j.B, j.2A > j.C. You do j.A and j.B in your first jump, and j.2A > j.C in the second jump.
