  1. I think you would want to focus on the most basic fundamentals first, for a new player, so you don't confuse them. The more advanced stuff, even if they read it, will just fall on deaf ears since they won't be able to use it properly. Though I suppose just having it out there for when they CAN handle it is fine.

  3. training mode wont help you with matchup experience or spacing or knowing when to poke out of what, etc just getting combo execution down and even that will take implementation in real matches to get down

I've lost probably 80% of my CT matches. " This doesn't really mean anything for CS. I have more games for CT than CS1 and 2 combined, but I was inept when switching over to CS at first. The core of the character is the same, but the matchups are different in some cases and you have new combos and new characters to deal with. Plus, aren't you a Litchi player? So that's not gonna really matter for Bang. You'll still need a lot of games to get the hang of it.

  8. I had a dream last night where you could do 360s and 720s in the air. Add that to CSX.
  9. The difference in options is just an opportunity for you to beef up some other aspects of your game that you didn't have to rely on before, so don't think of it as a loss.

  11. There's always 2C and AC if you want to just call out a jump.
  12. 5A doesn't stop jump outs that well though since it just hits them in the air and they end up teching away since 5A doesn't combo into 5C or anything, I think. Wouldn't 2B be the best anti jump? Or 6A for backdashes and jumps.

  16. Well, GF is +3, but if you have a normal knockdown you have a lot more time to set up some move. On the other hand, GF basically forces them to neutral tech. What's the difference other than that? I used to have an idea but it's been so long.

  19. There's nothing wrong with having a debate. It's better to hash out all of the best options. It's hard to imagine making Mu's DP whiff... since she doesn't move during it and you'd be dashing directly into it. But for Ragna and Makoto's it should work, although with how far Makoto's carries her, and with Kishuu moving Haku past her, she might actually be too far away to punish.
  20. dont think i saw it, or at least i dont remember seeing anything outside the usual corner juggling. getting and holding 8 starts is the hard part, if youre playing a real match youre going to be using them on normal combos most of the time unless you decide to hold back or are fighting lambda or something. although i pretty much end every match with like 8 stars... but thats because i always do the cheapest combos.
  21. yeah from what i recall in cs1 he didnt really have any variety it was all the same combos over and over. nip them with a move -> freeze em -> ice car into corner etc axis, i dont remember any real 8k combos outside of the normal corner rape for like 7 stars. and if youre gonna spend that much in the corner and DONT get something like 8k then its just sad. hes pretty much just like his cs2 incarnation except they smoothed out his average damage, he can do longer combos off most of his starters.
  22. I remember some CT rapid cancel combos getting 8k or something like that. 2 j.2Cs and it was already like 4k.

  24. Well, don't forget that's one of the oldest of the oldest videos. If you find other later matches you'll see that everybody puts up fierce opposition.
