Oh, no wonder. I was testing it's invincibility by trying to Kishuu through 5D. So... Kishuu is good to do once you're actually up close. They'll try a counterattack, and will get hit instead.

I tried messing around with Kishuu some. I don't get it; what's so good about it? I noticed you can still get hit while in it. I thought it would at least give you some invincibility frames. It doesn't really move you that far forward and leaves you defenseless. Wouldn't it be easier to just walk or jump? I can see using it for combos, but for getting closer...

Maybe Terumi is just the "Dark Susanooh," like the opposite of Hakumen.

Do you guys have any ideas on how to get in on Nu? Hakumen can't really move on the ground; his hop is just asking to eat a 6D, for instance, or something else. So that usually means I have to resort to the air, which works sometimes, but if they use 2C then I just eat a CH on the way down. Is there some way to get around Nu's 2C? Is the air the way to go? Or do you have to slowly advance on the ground? The thing is, I've never had much success trying to slowly work my way in on foot, but the air works. It's just 2C giving me trouble right now. And yeah, IADing in the beginning works out for me usually.

Yeah, I posted, then re-read what you said and saw that it was basically what I wrote. But to re-iterate, what I said was that the pictures of the Six Heroes looked like it was Hazama after Terumi was revealing himself at the True End, so he was either possessing Hazama BACK THEN (meaning Hazama is old as hell) or it was just Terumi all along. But... who else would it be? It would be kind of random to just introduce a new character he was possessing back then. We're not really sure what the deal with him being a ghost is either, since in some routes he is a ghost, and in others it seems like he's Hazama. Actually, wait. In Rachel's route, don't we see him as a ghost AND as Hazama? In the beginning we see him as a ghost, and then later we see Hazama as Terumi when the world was about to end.

I don't understand how Terumi could be possessing Hazama, and isn't just Hazama himself. As was previously pointed out, if Hazama was just a normal dude that got possessed, then what was he doing in the past as a member of the Six Heroes? Also, we SEE Hazama being evil and dodgey as if he was Terumi all along in the story mode, before the True End. If you play Rachel's end you see Hazama with an evil golden tint to his eyes, and acting like Terumi, and in the True End you see him reveal himself after Noel leaves. So he wasn't just possessed at the end of the True End...

That doesn't make sense... we see her in the intro cinematic when she is still in her Nu outfit and she looks way older. And she definitely joins the NOL after that.

So... Hakumen fought the Black Beast one on one and lost. Neat.

Random question: what's Hakumen's Dead Angle attack? I'm sure I'm familiar with it, I just don't recognize it.

Isn't the matchup chart on the console just supposed to be the ratio of wins and losses for the characters against each other on THAT console? Like, Hakumen is the most winning character on mine and Ragna is the lowest. According to my console's table Ragna VS Haku is 2.4 for Ragna, lewl.

What do you mean, impatient? Is Hakumen supposed to play defensively in this matchup? Basically, whenever I try to attack, Jin lands a CH because Hakumen is slow, or I'm too slow with my attacks, or I mess up my defense because he constantly keeps up the pressure and never gives me a chance to escape because he's so fast. I may block one combo string and manage to jump away, but he'll be right back on me and it'll continue until I'm dead. Yeah, I don't really IB much online because it's too unreliable with the lag. It's better to just block for sure than to try and IB and eat the attack, although I'm pretty good at it with Nu since her swords are predictable.

How can Hakumen deal with one combo Jin does? I always get beaten by it... he starts off by mixing you up on the ground, then he knocks you into the air and follows you. He keeps hitting you until he either freezes you in mid air and ice cars or grabs you and ice cars. Whenever I VS a Jin that can do this it's basically several of those before we hit KO. Yeah, for some reason I have a hard time countering Bang's moves. I just thought of something though... I think the Counter Assault could actually come in handy here...

Arg, guys. What the hell can I do against Bang? It's hilarious: I'm great at rushing down and cornering Nu's and Rachel's and Arakunes (It's not that they're easy, it's just that I play against them so much I'm used to it), but once I run up against Bang I get completely wrecked. A lot of them do the same combos, too. But I just can't escape the pressure. Usually I escape one combo just to run into the next one. He always crosses me up with this one downward angled jump kick into a combo...
