  1. Wha... wha... what. FISH. That sounds like Arakune. Just reading it makes me enraged.
  2. GG, Severin! You played a good Nu. :3 You had a unique style, I liked it.

  3. Distant memories of an ancient past...
  4. Faker? 'Sup Archer.

  5. Hakumen and Nu. For some reason I always gravitate towards the "boss" characters. What's Dizzy's fighting style like?
  6. ^ Your avatar is both hypnotizing and terrifying.
  7. Well, I edited a comment in, so just take a look at my post from before.

  8. What kind of comment are you looking for? I posted one. I don't really have a sub... my gamercard says Jin but it's only because I ended up using him the most screwing around in player matches when using Hakumen would be too much. Nu used to be my old main, so she's probably the closest to a real sub, but... I'd rather just leave it blank. :P MYSTERY

  9. Also I get what you're trying to do picking Jin, you want to make it a challenge or at least try to improve on your sub, but it would actually be more helpful for me if you just went all out with Hakumen. I could at least see what you do and then maybe learn some things from it. (Unless we were playing a bunch of player matches, then we could do whatever.)

  10. Urgh, I played terribly tonight. You weren't even doing that much with Jin either. I had an off night... x_X I saw openings, knew I could exploit them, but when I'd go to do the move I've done hundreds of times I'd just mess up and get killed instead. I need to get better. Are there any things you would recommend me to do? I haven't raged from BlazBlue until tonight. :P I stopped playing for a week but I didn't think it would make a difference.

  11. Jesus. Half of these combos are just 6C > 6C > 6C > 6C > 6C > 6C. Still, 6k damage! Wow.
  12. The positive part about his DD counter, at least for me, is that even though I know it'll miss, it gets me right next to Nu, and since she's busy jumping in the air, we recover around the same time. Also, the counter is actually guaranteed if the projectile hits on the first frame, although that's something that happens accidentally unless you're godly. It's not really something that should be your first option though. I think the times we played I just decided to try out new techniques and tactics so I wasn't playing with my normal style. I remember last time I was trying to counter Nu's swords and you mentioned you noticed so you changed up your patterns, etc. I figured I could get a look at how effective or worthwhile it would be to pursue that kind of thing based on how it would work against a good Nu. (It didn't seem worth it.) I don't really have a set play style though, it depends on who I'm playing against. (I think.) That said I still try to chase you down and you still get away. :P I don't know how effective gravity wells would be though... I've never really had trouble against them. Usually when a Nu does that against me I'm just like, "........Ok." and continue on my way.
  13. I noticed your exchange with Sophisticat... Yomi is just being able to read an opponent. Like those times you just "know" they were going to do something and get them with the exact countermove that you wouldn't be able to if you actually waited to see what they were gonna do. It's all those times you're playing mindgames, knowing they're going to do something, but they know YOU know, but you know THEY know you know...

  14. Can you combo off throw against Carl? My normal grab > gurren > 6C doesn't work. Neither does Renka > gurren.
  15. You're doing something wrong then. You should be able to block them. It could just be that you happened to let go or something at the exact moment... or if you even begin to start an attack, you might get hit during the first few startup frames and think you're still blocking? If she had D swords you couldn't block, then... :8/:
  16. He was only talking about her D moves. Are you air dashing during it? You can't block and air dash at the same time. But if you time your dash correctly, you'll get out of the dash movement just as she is able to shoot swords, so you can dash in and block on the way down. Or block, then dash first.
  17. They're all blockable. Just different ways. Which ones do you mean?
  18. I try hit-and-run tactics against Tager.
  19. I didn't know you went to DustLoop. :0! I would have tried harder during our matches if I knew. I was just like "lol arakune" :P

  20. Hmm, that sounds interesting, I'll have to try it out. What kind of thing could you do with Kishuu > enma > kishuu? I assume if you're going to do Enma, you're right next to them, in which case Kishuu would just have you dash in place right in front of them... easy to get counterhit or grabbed. Unless the followup can hit them before they hit you... But that would take four stars...
  21. Gold Hakumen? Excellent.
  22. Yeah, I was going to say that, I usually don't try to IB in a "real match" because I'd have to sit there and think about it, and then I'll just mess up. Like, I guess you have to just get so used to it that you can do it without thinking, but right now I can think of all the dozens of different attacks people can throw at you out of nowhere and then somehow you're supposed to instantly react to it and block at the exact frame. I could just block it normally, but trying to IB it means I'll most likely end up eating a combo I normally wouldn't. (Then again, I try to counter things all the time despite getting hit for it, so...) So yeah. Offline probably helps.
  23. Wow I raged reading this and I wasn't even there.
