You can mash out of anything Hakumen does if you're set on it. It's your job to scare them into blocking so you can do some of his less tight strings.

Bad execution in a match can also be the result of the opponent putting mental pressure on you so you choke. It's not JUST you, always.

I find blocking a mixup way harder than fixing execution. Just because I know it's coming or the set up that it has doesn't mean anything without lots of trying and failing at it.

That actually happened to me once, except it was 6A > buffer into 720 which caught me out of my non-enma D. Not sure if it was legit or if it just worked in the heat of the moment.

I don't like holding to tech. It's too imprecise and makes it easier to get reset. I'd rather just wait for the moment I want to tech.

It's harder to get salty or discouraged when you give credit to the other player too. Too many players make their analysis without taking the other player into account.

But if it was your match to lose and you lost it, you WERE outplayed. That's what I'm getting at. The result of the match isn't predetermined like some prophecy that gets derailed when you lose. The opponent could just as easily go one mistake farther back and say, "It was MY match to win, until I made that mistake." What you're being annoyed by is being outplayed to that extent in that match. Like when someone makes a huge runback from 1%.
