Yes, if someone doesn't know the info they're basing their suggestions on then chances are their suggestions won't make sense. Instead of taking offense from people pointing out learning those things you should embrace it. Especially if you want them to take your attitude seriously. And beating you or you beating them wouldn't prove your suggestion is right anyway. Speaking of attitude, drop the whole "I'm laughing at you" "No I'm laughing at you" stuff. Drop randomly challenging people as a comeback like it has some sort of proof value because they replied to you. I don't want to lock the thread, but I will if it continues. That goes for everyone else too. You have a thread here for potentially constructive discussion about balance, use it for that. I'll delete and/or infract if it's just useless driveby trolling.

Please don't spam the thread with empty hit-and-run style posts, it doesn't add anything and just encourages the thread quality to drop. So far I've been enjoying everyone breaking down all of the moves and logic here, it's actually very informative.

This was locked during the height of the "can you react to 18f/14f overhead" stuff that was blowing up Twitter and DL at the time. That's old news now so go ahead and discuss.

To avoid compartmentalization, maybe we could throw all of the MU threads into one giant subforum (though that'd be a mess) but still have that matchup grid to act as a shortcut. That way you could go right into a MU thread if you wanted but you could also easily see and jump to other active ones. There's probably a better way to do it but you get the idea.

Maybe if there was a way to tag posts themselves, just like the news articles. Then each post in the thread could be tagged "Hakumen" or "Izayoi" and then you could just pull up the posts related to one character. But I have no idea if this is even possible on the forum.

Maybe under each subboard heading, you could have that MU table that was suggested. Then you'd click and it would take you to the thread. That still kind of compartmentalizes everybody though...

There's no official frame data released. We'd have to be doing it by hand, testing it out. Unless that's what you meant. I was actually testing to see if 4C was punishable on hit last night since Moblin was curious about that. I couldn't land any 5As afterwards so it's safe enough.

I was referring to the story. It's been a while but I remember Hakumen was having trouble and I got the impression if the fight continued that he would've lost. Maybe I am remembering wrong though.

I could see Azrael's strength being a mutation in reaction to seithr, except it's just SO strong. He's stronger than 20% Hakumen with just his first limiter. If the mutations caused by exposure to seithr were that strong then the random animals that were affected by the Black Beast would've become utter monsters instead of beginner level RPG enemies. Maybe he was another experiment to try and stop the Black Beast, just like the Kakas.

OK here's what we're gonna do. I talked to Huey; he was intending this thread to just be about specific feedback about the front page. More like troubleshooting and specific stuff like "the layout could use work," etc. But I also want more of this general community feedback. Since we're talking about revamping DL, that's a huge topic and everything is going to be interrelated. Even talking about posting news relates to other things; you need actual news out there to post about, which means you need player involvement and then a discussion about why they aren't getting involved. Right there you're already drifting away from a strict talk about the front page. So I'll make a general revamp brainstorming thread, and everybody use that for the conversation we're having here. If you want to talk about details about the front page, do it here. But if you want to talk about mods, player involvement, getting new players into DL, how to make DL alive again, etc. etc., use that other thread. I'll post the link in a minute after I make the thread.

Honestly I can't fault people for wanting to talk about the community in general because on re-reading the OP, I see it says right in the OP to talk about the community in general. What I was saying to stop was the sogos memes because that's just off topic. That said, it's the moderator's job to direct the conversation and if some want to focus on the front page first because it's easier to do one thing at a time, it's perfectly legitimate. It's not bullying to just try and get everybody's input on the item that's currently being worked on.

This is just about the front page. Ask in a more relevant thread or message someone. Get back on topic folks. For writing articles, actually writing them is pretty easy. The hard part is doing it consistently and not quitting after a week. And getting the actual tips to come in. You guys should send more tips!!!!!!!!!

I'm down with that. Although the "article" title here might be misleading since we're focusing on news in general at the moment. Mostly I didn't write up a lot of stuff about some things because there wasn't really anything to say except "here's this thing" and letting the information speak for itself, outside of basically just copying and pasting what was being linked to, which I thought was redundant. But I'll go ahead and fluff it up a bit. What else?

They don't have the black/gold/red CT Haku color so my kokoro is dead.

It might be better to just remove the teaser/body separation. You could just have the entire thing revealed from the start.
