  7. Poke with 5b more. Don't do carnage scissors ever unless it's a certain matchup or in a combo. Even with meter, carnage scissors is a bad super, people have tons of ways to counter it. Don't do random specials on wake up since they are very risky. You got away with it when you did hell's fang/gauntlet hades and it got you out of oki. But why not do a DP if you think they're going to do some oki stuff. Watch out for every other button/special other then 5B, 5A, and 2A since everything is slow as hell and punishable/whiff punishable. That includes any of the D moves. You were using 6b a little too much, train them with 2b to make them block low before you start throwing out the 6b.

  9. That's because anything you do after that is generally unsafe because of holes in Ragna's offense. Pressing D/6d/2d/deadspike, doing hell's fang, and doing Gauntlet hades can be hit out in between the block string and the moves. Butttttt. If they don't know that, go to TOWN with those block strings.
  10. I do this every time just because the DP knockdown leaves you at a terrible position to continue pressure. Or I just do the not-knockdown ender for the DP and chase after them at the cost of some damage. also holy shit, people postin in my thread

  12. No. You just have to be creative and test if they can IB/react to your stuff. If not, goto town with 5b 5c 3c 5d stuff or gatling into 6d. The moment that they IB a 5c or something and punish you, stick with poking and hit confirming with 5b
  13. I put in quarters into the machine and mashed C. That's why I now play as white ragna with Type A controls.
  14. Well that's Nu. She's dumb. You just gotta deal with it. You just have to be more on point against her, same idea here though. Just push her to the corner and keep her there. She can shoot a sword out when she jump back barriers, but you can also run up and DP her. RISKY though, make sure you have 50% meter to rapid it. Corner game is still the way to go. Problem is, she can just 5d then dash away, jump and air dash away, block until a hole appears in your pressure and mash dash, counter assault, jump back barrier in the corner and shoot a sword down, etc etc etc.
  15. If you know that they're going to do that, air throw or run up right away to close the distance and maybe 6a them. They probably would block it, but they are still in the air as you finish your move. Jump back barrier seems really dumb (it is), but in fact they are sacrificing spacing and their ground to get out of pressure. Use this to your advantage and keep pushing them into the corner, jump back barrier doesn't work out so hot in the corner.
  16. Invincible move into another invincible move. I like it. No meter to rapid it though, but they're about to die anyways if you are able to do a Astral. GO FOR IT

  20. There are people who toss out supers because it's pretty much painless pressure after a knockdown. You're supposed hit confirm the super into a combo, but whatever, it's still a good super just to use out of nowhere, like what are you going to do? Jump up and barrier and IB to get meter? That's really all you can do. Or if you're just standing and blocking the super, you have to deal with the mixup that nu will throw at you
  21. As reliable as doing CS between 5DD and 4D. I find it easier since you have all day to buffer in the CS, all you gotta do is wait for that halo of swords to come out and COUNT FRAMES (press d). Nah, it's pretty easy, just make sure you have the right spacing for it and mess around with the timing. I can do it 7/10 times, but I only messed with it for about 20 minutes, so I bet you can do it pretty consistently if you put time into it
