if you like spending meter to do COOL SHIT it's worth noting that the first hit of 2C is a higher level than the second hit and produces 18 frames of blockstun. Considering that people will be wanting to IB the second hit for a free 2A punish, there may be some legitmacy in 2C(1) RC 6A. Upon thinking heavily, I see little reason not to spend meter whenever the fuck you want with bullet, since unlike characters such as, say, jin, your damage output isn't heavily reliant on having meter, it seems rather productive to just throw it around wherever the fuck you want to get hits in and do stuff.(such as the 6C RC mixup I mentioned previously)

if you have more OD length you do do jC OD jC 623C 623D before super for more damage.(if you try to do like jC Od jC 623C 623D 41236C 236D they tech out before 236D hits...I'm sure this might be a SICK RESET but...) I hate the combo because it's RLY HARD like you need to delay everything I am sure there are easier combos that do similar damage. edot: Was playing around with RC combos. I found that you can 5D~D 5C 3C. So i played around with that a bit compared to 5D~D RC 5B combos. H0 -> H2 5B 5C 2C 5D~D RC 5B jB jC 6B jC jD = 3185 5B 5C 2C 5D~D RC 5C 3C 41236C 5B 6B jB jC jD = 3461 The second combo works from default starting positions, so it can be done from further away than most 0H capture combos. H0 -> H1 5B 5C 2C 5D~D RC 5B 6B 623C 623D 5B 6B sjC jD = 3742 5B 5C 2C 5D~D RC 5C 3C 41236C 236D 66 5B 6B jB jC jD = 3538 the second combo may give less damage, but it is a near corner-to-corner carry combo.(from the "back to wall" starting position, I end with the opponent about 2 character widths away from the opposite wall)

you can 6C and then OD or RC and either jC or land 2B for a mixup. Or something like 6C RC/OD airdash jD for a crossup. Basically you can cancel it into STUFF and do THINGS.

It has projectile guard point for some of the duration, which means you can counterhit her after the guard point ends. It's just like punishing sledge hammer. total frames: 55(79 charged) projectile guard point: 7-26(49 charged) edit: she may just overdrive randomly from neutral(or even the start of the round) to gain a free heat level in certain matchups. I'm fairly certain that nu is one of the matchups where this is something she'll do, so don't get surprised by it.

I was messing around with it towards the end of my training session and I found you can do it twice when you fatal, for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBL7WcH0VUs Works in the corner etc. Also, I had no trouble doing the relaunch on hazama from 41236C~236D and from 5D~D in the corner.

it really depends on the frame data of the new autocombo. 5AA pause 5A was DECENT but the ability to catch stuff by canceling straight to 5B/2B would be nice. I'm also interested in what SB tsurugi actually does. -

As a note, she can do EX roll immediately after EX roll, so if you try to do something cute to punish it and she has meter, she'll just do it again and hit you out of that, so even when you know she's going to do it, it's better to just block/dodge it.

On the topic mentioned before about least favorite matchups, in recent times I've found a new character that I hate playing against as labrys so much that when I find them online, I just turn the system off. This character is just so fucking overpowered it's not even funny. labrys mirror matchup is stupid and should be removed from the game.

i actually got that kind of hit with the D version earlier today. Sadly it isn't possible to follow up on the D version but it was still cool. Sad part is if I was playing correctly instead of just being mentally disabled(I read a mitsuru DP and decided to just super during the startup of the DP) and done C version I would have gotten the followup. I do have the replay saved but it really just shows how retarded I am when playing online.

214214D/C is actually an option select. If they safe jump in front of you they have to block and eat your mixup, if they do a crossup they get hit by 236236C/D. Pretty sure that nobody actually does a crossup safejump setup in order to bait this so it's actually really strong. game is dumb.

Eyo why is this game so stuuuupid. I was mashing shit on netplay(a hobby of mine and part of why I'm so bad.) and I managed to anti-air someone with 5A in a really odd position. They ended up getting hit behind me, and since I'm REALLY bad at this game I hit 5A again anyway and labrys actually decided to turn around and keep doing her autocombo. Needless to say I was so astounded at how advanced her AI is that I kept mashing A to finish the autocombo, super, and kill the guy that I did not save the replay, which saddens me greatly. tl;dr labrys can turn around in the middle of her autocombo. also this game is stupid.

Yes, that was a mistake on my part. A really bad one. I'm pretty sure I don't press the persona buttons anyway. There, I edited it to say what I actually meant. I'm not used to having people actually read my useless ramblings so I get really sloppy.

“how to play labrys like you are really stupid” aka “FLabrys” Labrys has like, really bad cancel options from her autocombo. 5AA loses normal cancel options, leaving you with only persona, special, and super cancels, and your persona skills aren't really useful in this situation. Which is REALLY bad since you only did 5AA. Not to mention that there is a gap that can be DPed between the second and third hit. The way I play involves baiting DPs. Or threatening to bait them by using what I know as stagger pressure. Stagger pressure is making frame traps by delaying your blockstrings – you stagger you cancels. Here’s a list of stuff you can do on block because you have no blockstrings. Vs people who mash: 5AA block: “Please hang yourself on your DP” 5AA delay A: third hit of autocombo can be delayed to fake the previous. If someone presses 5B they will likely be counterhit here. Sadly because labrys has NO FUCKING CANCLE OPTIONS there isn’t any fancy combo you can do here without spending meter on OMC or 236A 6A+B. either finish autocombo or do 236A 6A. 5AA 236A: On counterhit can do 64 5A into autocombo. Will actually cause a double whiff on certain DPs, but not all are punishable. Risky, but more reward than doing the third hit of autocombo. 5AA delay 214A/B: Not the most rewarding thing to do, but I guess you could super cancel for a kill if you really needed it. 5AA delay 214A+B: If it hits you can actually do something. 5AA 214214C: For when you are fighting Kanji. 5AA 214214A: For when you are ballin. 5AA 214214B: For when you need to stop. Vs people who mash less: 5AA… step 5AA: The pressure train has no breaks, bro. Can’t stop even if you wanted too. step throw: they are blocking? Grab them. 5B: counterhit 5B is big damage. 5{B}: Blocked 5{B} is big frame advantage. Used for when they block. 5: 2spooky. COOL MIXUP: 5A 2149A/B: Hits overhead on the second hit of j214B. 5A 9214A/B: Hits crossup on the third hit of j214B. Will hit crossup and overhead on the second hit if done fast. Note that the animation starts on the same side, but due to the forward momentum, it crosses over during the startup when labrys hangs in the air spinning. 5A 2149A(1) OMC… land 2A: low hit jA: high hit. Land and do 2A for 2A->2B combo on hit or a low if they blocked. I apologize if there are any weird typos, I'm having some computer problems and I wrote this in microsoft word and it was autocorrecting a bunch of stuff that I didn't want it to, but hopefully I managed to undo all of the changes.
