  1. They tech before the 214D connects, it does seem like they're too high, how do I make it so they're not so high? Am I not delaying the aerial Ds? Hitting too quick with the falling C?
  2. Netcode is atrocious, I couldn't even play against people with 3 bars. I could barely string Lambda's aerial D in Skye Kuns room :/ This game's servers shouldn't be that stressed, its so small niched
  3. Ok, easy question to answer. For 2DD>jc>JD>jc>j2D>j214D~C>falling 2C>2DD>214A I can't get the combo to work, they ALWAYS tech the 214A on the ground, anyone have any clue where I'm maybe messing up?
  4. I just lost 24 games to Xdest and only one won once :/ talk about demoralizing. Tao v Lambda is fucking retarted
  5. Yeah, I was wondering why you didn't the Becoming Two combo's I gotta work on combo's and hitconfirming myself. The other Lambda you were playing did it fairly well
  6. The only issue with those lobbies is that it's no fun waiting 5 fights before you get your turn. I think 4 is the perfect number for a room
  7. Isn't Valk and Ragna the top tier characters? ARC is doing a better job balancing each installments, each S tier character gets less and less retarted outside of Makoto
  8. HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT, i BEAT XDEST! lol, how lucky, his CA didn't counter my 3C for some reason GGs to everyone, you too AchedSphinx I seriously need to work on hitconfirming, combo's under pressure and just moving better. But god fucking damn, everyone doing less damage with less retarted pressure is like a tickle to my balls!
  9. Dat s tier makin u mad dawg?
  10. They seem to go for oki more often then not
  11. They seem to keep Lambda's combo's really simple. I think I see Yuuki and Tsuuaka go for some of those 236C>236D stuff, but it's pretty surprising to see the low risk stuff they try to do in practice
  12. Nah, I don't want to come off blaming people. Just the suggestions Tuka made I had suggested a year or two ago and was laughed at by some of the memembers of this board. It's not easy contributing or compiling these things, I know that, it's just a little discouraging seeing some of the things we've lacked in the Lambda section for years. I remember seeing how helpful the Hakumen boards were and ventured into the Jin section where they had like, tech traps, pressure string ideas, etc
  13. Oh, no, don't get me wrong, in terms of competetiveness, online is a joke. It's more that I don't really see top players going for it.
  14. Fucking finally! I suggested the idea of okizeme, mixups options, pressure ideas and tech-traps a year ago for CS2, and Xie and some others laughed at me for the suggestion The Lambda forums are too fucking lax, the other character forums have so much shit, and we have barebones stuff here with video threads of Lambda's getting crushed (totally uninspiring!) Emjays list has been pretty good, but those 2C>5C>4B are really risky to do in terms of spacing, online etc. I'm at work right now, and I was about to go online and check out Lambda's and write down some ideas that they use for pressure, mixups and whatnot
  15. Even though you still would have won the games, I was cheated out of rounds against you :/ I had one huge lag spike when I did 236C>dash out>5C And another during a gravity combo : / Maybe they neeed to fix the netcode, no one was using the internet in my house and I was playing people with 3 bar connection
  16. The netcode is pretty bad so far, I didn't have too many smooth games I'm really enjoying the cast doing less damage and the barrier change Wasn't too bad of a first day with Lambda. Gotta wrinkle out my combo's and doing them under pressure. Gotta fix a lot in my pressure and mixup game too GGs to everyone in Jays lobby. Rank is atrocious, I keep finding players that dont know combo's that'd probably beat me if they did : /
  17. I think dash 5A is the best option. My performance with it is a little sloppy, training with it on a dummy is much different than when you're under pressure in a real game, I keep fucking up and dashing 6A
  18. GG to Haven. There were some big lag spikes that hit me in two of those games. I don't know if it was me lagging or the netcode, it hasn't been very smooth in other matches with 3 bars Now I have to work on combo's in game, I was having issues remembering combo's under pressure in those fights :D I'm loving the cast doing less damage and the new barrier system, it helps out Lambda's atrocious defense game :P
  19. I nominate you! You should add to the already existing one and put in combos really worth using. I'd do it but I'm too ignorant for this task
  20. I'd have been angry as that tater too. He literally lost because he was tager. Carl using nirvana with ca and burst should be fixed. I'm not too worried about hakumen, he's never been too hard for me. Ragnas damage is what scares me. I have very little matchup experience against valk. I'm just training with lambda and tinkering on some things. Then I have to work on not playing like ass in real games
  21. Shit, typing on the iPhone is hard. I'm still working in practice mode before playing online. I'm surprised everyone is playing so soon. Has most of the casts damage been nerfed hard?
  22. Clap loop was stupid. I'll never forget when I nearly perfected Pugh he bursted while I was doing a non cancel able move and bursted me into the loop and won since I. Couldn't burst out of it? My reason for losing? Kicking ass too hard
  23. Why not just do the 236B>dash>5a>6A>2147D in the corner? Achedsphinx, where do you get your combo list from? I don't remember seeing too many corner combo's with 6k?
  24. 236DD is actually really easy to do, however, I couldn't land it once in a combo. I got the 236C>236D somewhat down, the 236C has to be just a tiny bit delayed, and the character has to be hit by Lambda's head or just slightly above it, and 236C has to be entered as soon as you saw the character slam into the wall. I couldn't for the life get 2366D to work in the combo's though, nothing seems to get buffered while you're in the middle of 236C I'm actually not entirely sure these 236C>236D combo's are worth it, the timing is so tight you could easily screw up
  25. Thanks, Haki! I really appreciate you taking the time to translate that. Also, I didn't realize if I just did 2366D that I'd get the sliding version instead, I was doing 66236D to get it out. I'll be in training mode for a few days before trying to play anyone, I still have get the muscle memory down, then I have to kinda have to think about improvisiation and spacing. Lambda from CS1 had a lot of issues, to be honest, all her damage came from 236C/corner loops, and her awful spacing required for TK combo's was brutal, I saw top Japanese players whiffing her stuff. Also, I'm assuming most characters got their damage nerfed significantly?
