Tuka was right about your video though, you were overusing TK feints way too much : / I do too sometimes but you went nuts. Against a good opponent that shit'll get you destroyed. I hope you know lots of characters can super in a blockstring involving feints. Some can super even if you go for the real TK. And you can get DP'd out of a TK too, I think. Had the Ragna been good he would have seriously fucked your day up, destroyed your blockstring and then left you in the position to block And I was playing last night against someone with a really solid defense (but like an American, will fall for overheads), god, Tuka was so right about 236D, it's fucking awful. He jumped and IAD almost everytime and either punished me or left me under pressure. Except maybe in the corner against a lot of pressure and conditioning, that move is really bad against anyone not Tager

Haha, as soon as 2C being garbage hit, I pretty much knew Lambda was a pretty awful rushdown, melee character. Losing the big CH damage from TK's is a big one too Basically you're supposed to spam the shit out of 214D now : / And if they have the ability to super inbetween most of your stuff you basically can't do anything unless it's hit confirmed : /

A lot has been kinda bothering me with CS. The biggest reason is the netcode is really, really bad. Lambda's not hard to play, but she's awful in lag, and it makes swords more a guessing game than reacting. The ranking system is so, so awful. I wait in ranked forever, and then it's usually a crappy opponent. And then it'll keep pairing me up with that player over and over again Then if I try going into a regular player room, there's lag issues. Bar connection restrictions, being better than the average, and having a hard time finding a good room. The game is slow too, but I could get over that if the other issues weren't so apparent

The 5A on her 6B is good to know. I don't recommend doing 4B, a good Tao player will bait it out a lot. You can 6A if she crosses up, right?

Haha, if you'd like we can just do a player room some time. I actually watched Goro fighting Dio. Last time I had too many issues with Nirvana closing in on me, so 6C pushes her back quite a bit. I was sad you blocked the 236b>RC>4B. Sometimes I get fucked over when I expected people to block 236B and I RC into pressure and find them flying away from me.

I wanted to ask about something in the Bang matchup. When I do spike chaser and they D attack it, what exactly is my best option to punish the counterpoint? Do I dash in and then attack, or backdash and punish, or just block? It seems random at times when they do it and how I punish, figured you knew better than me

Alright, well, I play on XBL, and my friend might seriously be better than TaoFTW's Tao. This matchup feels fucking awful. There's no way in hell it's a 4.5-5.5 matchup You pretty much have to be psychic to punish her with your D attacks, most of that shit is way too slow. Lambda's D attacks are a little slow on startup in comparison to Tao's drive so you can eat damage doing that too, pretty much forget trying to react to her drive movement. She can even react and punish you for 4K if you whiff a sword from midscreen. She can be zoned, but it's really unlikely. Lambda's DP is awful in this fight, way too batiable by Tao's blockstrings. Her pressure is pretty tough to get out of, that wouldn't be an issue if she was zoned, but since she can't be zoned very well it sucks being stuck in her pressure. Up close you're outclassed bad against her, eat a 5B for 4K. 6A will only catch so many counters from her drive, plus, Tao can actually crawl underneath 6A, if you chose to dash in hoping they'll drive Her 2A is a serious problem, it stuffs all of Lambda's j.C attacks. I think j.B possibly beats it 236C is really garbage against Tao, her drive attacks will stuff it everytime for 3K or more. 236C is only good when you delay it in sword pressure and bait a jump. Tao can super inbetween your swords and specials 214D is so useless against her except on knockdown, so there goes Lambda's only amazing tool Even bursting feels like a big fucking waste of time unless you just got smacked with a 6C. She seriously can drive up to pressure you before you can even react and try to zone her This matchup honestly feels as atrocious as Bangs

I usually do the 6A>TK, dash in with a 6A>TK>5B>6A>TK>dash>6A>TK>buffer dash without dashing 6a>TK, etc It feels good if you buffer the dash after 6A, the TK doesn't whiff from doing it so late You just have to practice, it's not something you'll get in just an hour

Severin mentioned that it might only be character specific on Arakune, unless I read it or remembered it wrong. Lambda goes into some kinda 2D>TK loop on him Too bad TK loops suck so much online, it blackbeats after the second or third one : / I don't know how some of you guys can do the 6 reps, my fat ass needs to squeeze in a 5B at some point which limits it down to 5 reps. Also, I do 214789 instinctively on the left side but a huge 2147 on the right, shit gets annoying

Yep, I just saw them live in PA a few weeks ago I used to be called Afghan Whig777(another band without the 7's), but when you have a name like that while playing COD4 you get a lot of racist people, so I changed it. Figured Arcade Fire was a good name to have for a gamertag

I get depressed losing to Bangs. I had one round where Adventus teched in the air and got hit by Lambda's 6D combo. He kept teching and dashing 3 times in a row and got hit by all of them. Still lost, even though I had him so figured out Shit gets depressing. I lose to Bang and Ragna so badly. Tao's pretty shitty too

I think the Bang v Jin matchup is 6.5-.3.5 in Bangs favor The best and most undefeatable players on XBL are the new top tier players

Damnit, I keep lurking the Mu boards thinking I'll be disinterested enough to play her Her gattling attacks look so unsafe and looks like she can eat reversals like crazy Why am I still interested in trying her out? She looks too complex If she had Lambda's 5B I think she'd be so much better

God, I can't believe I ever disrespected Goro. He's so awesome :D I liked how he messed up the TK loop and did the 2DD to squeeze enough damage to win

I can do 5TK loops fine, but the connection I was in was more like 1 and a half bars, so getting just 2 TK loops on them is a struggle. I can get them off a lot better in 3 bar connections. 2 it gets real bad, and there were was so much lag and random lag spikes, it wasn't realistic to pull off

You have to space yourself correctly though, Jins j.C is a good tool against Lambda. They'll probably fish for a good counter. Add to that a few projectiles and some 2D to catch IAD's and you need to be careful. If he catches you with an overhead in the corner you may as well burst, since that's where his big damage comes from. Jins not anywhere near as scary as he was in CT though
