  1. PSN: FightinRabbit location: ontario
  2. Oh, well they'll probably release in the U.S at least.
  3. For nothing? how you mean?
  4. I received mine within 3 hours of placing the order.
  5. Yea I'm sure I read it right. I was staring at it after i bought it like... oh noes don't tell me it's the wrong one... But it seems like the right version, I can get into the online menus fine.
  6. I just got it off the JP PSN store, and the only PS3 version was actually 1062MB -- different from the 1092MB that the screenshot on the front page has http://www.dustloop.com/forums/content.php?442-GGAC-is-now-available-on-JP-PSN! What up wit that?
  7. To anyone who got the JP version, do you only need a JP account to purchase & download? Or do you have to actually use that profile to play the game / play online? Ideally I would want to use my NA account to play
  8. Seems like Canada can't get in on this party yet (xbox). Hoping that gets resolved in the next few hours...
  9. I hit A+B 10 times in a rhythm starting when she jumps on their head, followed by C/D, and hit fatal on 16 a very high percentage of the time. I'm sure everyone else has their method too, just sharing.
  10. It is THAT bad.
  11. Just a suggestion, if it could be accommodated I would rather say something than not.
  12. I can't even watch his HD stream i have to let it lag for a while then click "watch low res version" which is horrible. Tone that HD down a bit plz, I could watch the last 2 evo streams just fine. On topic though, I think BB is just too fast paced for anything but perfect connection to properly show a high level match online, compared to SF where you just hit confirm jabs and walk back and forth (no offence, i play SF too!)
  13. I always use this one off 3C>5d~b (whiff) > 5b>5c > 2D~6 -> j.2D~C -> j.2D~A -> 9D~5 -> 6D~6 -> j.C -> .. -> 9D~9 -> 3D~3 -> j.236B -> 3D~3 -> j.236Bx5 edit: except i end with j.236Bx5 because i fail cat2 loop 99% of the time. edit2: can't do it off 5b starter...
  14. Going through the matchup threads I noticed that most of the information is for CT (posts from 2009). Is there a plan to retire or update some of these? Or does all the old matchup info still apply? It may be too much work for threads that don't get a lot of traffic, I don't know. Just a thought.
  15. I liked CT tao better can't taunt loop past 2, haven't figured out cat2 loop for combo ender (do you do it slowly/carefully or fast?). I've been doing variations of the challenge combos and AB2 scratchy combo if i can land 3c in the corner. Since taunt loop is being removed, what's the easiest (read online friendly) non-taunt max dmg combo off 3C and 4B+C ? Are there any standard non-taunt combos that I can end with AB2 combo in the corner?
  16. If the above is still true, that could be why the frog doesn't activate.
  17. Hori EX2 might last you a couple months before the buttons start to fail. Not easy to mod: no quick disconnects and replacing the joystick can be a real pain in the ass. http://www.amazon.com/Xbox360-Fighting-Stick-EX-Xbox-360/dp/B000V02P6Q They are decent enough introductory arcade sticks, but you will want to upgrade after a while, assuming you are still interested in FG's. edit: nvm, i didn't notice you wanted one for ps2.
  18. It just takes practice to loosen up your fingers. Sort of like learning the piano or classical guitar, but not as hard.
  19. Does anyone have info on the initial proration on Rachel's attacks? Just wondering what her highest possible damage combo would be assuming she started with an attack that has minimal proration.. no matter how impossible it would be to actually hit and start a combo with. Also, aside from 5CC loops, haven't her changes opened up some new options? Or some absurd new tactic like summon pumpkin at SJ height > J.C Anti-air >wind pumpkin down (hit)> cat chair > ... lols. Keep in mind i haven't played CS or attempted such things in CT since she had more effective options.
  20. The game is plenty user friendly. Just give it to me on 360 so I can use my TE stick, and give me online so I have someone to play besides the computer.
  21. Your TV is fine. I have a 32" Sony Bravia HDTV and there is no noticeable input lag.
  22. try practicing with your opponent in the corner -- right in their face -- without the dashes in between your throw cancels just to get a feel for it. Also I found that starting with 6A (Forward A) > 6C etc.. was initially more difficult to do than starting with 3C (down+forward C) into throw cancel loop. Try (again in the corner, right in opponents face) (6B*) > 3C > 22C > 66C > B+C > 6C > B+C > 6C > B+C ... until they fall out of it. Once that's easy enough try mid-screen with dashes. Then you can try to learn to finish it with chain revolver ender (route 1 from the guide thread). * note: for practice you can leave out the 6B.
  23. I think he meant the crowd in the vids. If you can stand the loud announcer (or know what he's saying) and turn the volume up, you can hear people cheering for lambda -- in the first video anyways. I liked how he left out the crescent at the end and AA'd litchi on the way down, as Effenhoog pointed out. I couldn't read the damage on that, I assume it was more than if he had just ended with 214D.
  24. It was a Counter Assault.
  25. No, it's just really hard to get at first and afterwards it's still not easy . If they're coming down off a wallbounce i find you can release the dolphin at about 2/3rds of the full swing -- just around the time your anchor hits them. Off the ground it's closer to 'as your anchor hits the ground'. Remember to start your charge asap. I've only played a little GG, but it helped reading this http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3750 edit: I must have been tired, since I went and answered an already answered question.
