i dont know how you'd get someone to get hit non-counter, i'd personally like a few less recovery frames over combo on NH, or maybe even.....to be completely safe....>.>

this matchup is a 5-5 becuase both have insane oki options and really good corner rape rachel vs litchi is really just king of the corner your right though rushing down is a very good thing w/ litchi although i can DP her stsff like a tager can randomly 720 so she does have that scary tsubame and yes her loop is damn scary, it corner carries for days and leaves her in a wonderful oki position if her staff is near her

this is like every rachel's hardest thing to get used to, I honestly would like a list of punishable stuff on iB since i'm to lazy to test stuff myself -
Rachel should have a DD where she summons a gigantic george and it dos the same thing as regular george except he would have a ginormous hitbox and more dmg also the new george we're working with should be renamed george XIV since our long gone godly, broken, and helpful george XIII has left the BB scene, not to say our new frog still isn't good

zeta board said that the hit stun on pumpkin is virtually nothing and on block is small advantage this might have been un-nerfed but if it got nerfed to SW adv major annoyance:vbang: 13 frame adv is abit much but 3 or 2 is....too little..

so what can anyone think of for air iris? seems like a good "air pressure" move ie catch them blocking in midair w/ j.a spam it for a bit and then use air iris etc this might be effective with air BBL in some form lik this also since the start up is faster idk i guess she has a better AA game now? In the loketest thread it says "current counterhit combo does not exist" so i'm guessing it refers to CH 6b 66 b 6c+d etc and i think i remeber hearing that startup on 6c was slower so you probably cant dash > 6c either although she can probably stil go into 5b 5cdc combos i dont see a reason to nerf pumpkinn hit stun, block stun yes, but if they get hit.....they get hit..

4B honestly doesn't look much faster, then again from the changes it's obvious they didn't wanna buff her pressure much...if at all.......it's weird what they're doing with some of the characters...it's like ok, don't pressure as much.....but don't zone alot becuase your recovery and range got worse....i guess they just want a less OP zoning/pressure rachel still, from the looks of it she'll be doing arial stuuff more and SW before lobelia forms is cool but w/ the longer recovery time who knows how useful that'll be

i never found a use for lvl 2 and 3 outside combos but i guess it'll be a good guard crush move if you manage to catch them w/ a frog

her DD got a major dmg nerf and in one video it was super prorated by something, which some think it could be her also dmg nerfed frog....i guess her dmg is decent but it's certaintly less....although i've caught a few ppl in a 3 pole +me BBL combo (VERY rare) and that thing does MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAJOOOOOOR dmg i caught this my haku friend in BBL while he was iAD'ing and it did almost half life.....so i dont think her nerfs are anything to complain about, most were reasonable and in some cases needed, i'm happ w/ the new funner rachel, confused on how nu and ara didn't get run over by the nerf-mobile, bugs should be air blockable EDIT: looks like Rachel is less frog oki and pressure shenanigans and more zoning anti-air, air iris shenanigans....ryokalways do you think you could tell us rachel's here how she works in CS we've been taking things w/ a grain of salt fom the begining, and i'm sure we'd all just like to know more on ho she plays so far

I assume everyone knew about it and although it is flashy it scales so much it's like omg wow.....I've never seen it used during an actual fight though and i can think of three reasons off the top of my head, it's better to use 6cd only once then j.c land 5b 5cdc etc. since you can get some BG dmg from the ender you choose...although it doesn't work on rachel.... totally irrelavant but when i first started litchi i wa playing a noel who did 236236D and like usual i waited for it to get right above me to punish so i let go of 4 and it hit me on the very tip of her head...so yeah...Rachel's short q.q and fat.....*remembers of previous nu matches

TD looks mighty useful now but it seems rachel got the short end of the stick in terms of the new burst, i imagine her arial combo icluding her DD doesnt do much damage, but yeah TD looks like a nice reversal tool, too bad it still looks retarted

Is she seriously throwin a cow at ragna the only way for this move not to be a joke would be if it could be used as a reversal, that would make Rachel's around the world getting cornered very happy

You have to jump fairly deep both in the filler and the j.2c, I personally only do the j.2c combo when i have meter as 6a b j.bc j.3+D~C 1D land 6A 632146C etc. I can do it about 90% of the time. All i can say is jump as deep as you can.

i just found out how her new j.a might really hurt her mixup, i mean the fact that it's normal block now is fine but now, unless as stated before they fail miserably, after doing j.a they know to gaurd high, and seeing as how the j.b hitbox is fairly horizontal i dont see that replacing j.a very well, maybe they'll make her j.b more diaganal that'd be....unique, i wonder what her new mixup tactic will be if these changes even stay

I hope she doesn't turn into some awful zoner, maybe 4B will be usable outside frog/BBL block stun mixup seeing as how it's her only form of mixup right now, correct me if i'm wrong about it being the only over head thats usable...

I really dont like that combo, i have a MUCH easier time doing 5b 5cdc 236b 22a > dash etc it works the same way, also i prefer doing her 236b combos when i have the meter for BBL so is usually do frog combos. Also i just learned how to work around Nu's anrexic ass hit box, harder combos? more reason to hate her

Man, it's funny to take peaks at all the cry babies in the nu forums seeing as how they werent hit by a nerf train like rachel jin and noel...and especially in noel seeing as how they werent that great to begin with....it's funny how they think Nu wasn't all that great to begin with and how haku should be getting dmg nefs blah blah blah blah but anyways..... I doubt most of these changes will stay, they really had a cople of beers and thought "hey lets just nerf everything OP about rchel and do something jut to get them mad like make j2c completely useless" making wind more valuable and a few of the changes already made would be all right, all i want is her old j2c back and some sort of way to get out of pressure aside from wind your ass out of there
