  8. I think I have you covered on the j.Cs, I edited some into the last post-and, sumbitch, just got it to work once on yu despite it not looking REMOTELY close any other time. It adds 200 damage exactly to any combo you can do it on, since the j.214B itself does zero damage due to lolproration and the 236A having a minimum of 200. My bad!

Some corrections though-first, the 7.5k damage combo, landing that point blank TK j.214B seems to be character specific or something, I can't land it-and you seem to use EX j.214AB somehow, which would be 175 meter. And a faster startup, which would help land it. I could be missing something, I'M NOT A COMBO GUY, but a bit funky. Revised with dmg - 5C > 2C > 2B > 236B > 2A > 5B > 2B > 5C > 236B~j.214B > 236236A 2nd hit OMC > 214214C/D - [DM:7439] (your version: swap 2A 5B 2B with 5A 5B 2B) - 7.3k you use 5A 5B 2B a lot, and you get better proration with 2A rather than 5A. tho you have to delay the 5B on some characters to get the 5C to hit, and it looks like 5A 5B 2B makes the j.214B after the 5C a lot easier to do. the OMB 8k one is pgreat! though same problem with 5A vs 2A, 2A is 8129 and 5A is 8004. It's not that hard if you just do a few 5C FC air hits and watch how they bounce to understand how to do it, though it's utility might be exclusive to stuff like punishing yu DP.   11. here have some visual comparisons using characters 2a recovery http://puu.sh/2gPyL http://puu.sh/2gPz3 and coincidentally, plat's 5a supposedly whiffing. http://puu.sh/2gPCi analysis? magic hitboxes. and shitty testing methods probably. that and plat seems to have different hitboxes on each 5a and her 2a removes the hitbox from her staff temporarily! regardless close enough to making haku 5a look like it has some erroneous hitboxes on there tho. one more comparison: above links to http://www.dustloop.com/guides/bbcse/hitbox/bang/bn200_02.png bang 5a. look at that meaty hitbox; plat's 5a hits crouchers but it whiffs on herself until you get her hand near her staff (not hard) but bang's hits her period. so yea idk

  13. RIGHT SO 1. massive slaughter (bite loop) ever since people figured that out people have been doing different variations of it-both ones aimed at late tech and early tech. One option that'll always work is 236236A/B into OMC, but outside of that, if the person is smart and alternating between early/late tech... a. if they're going for the setup legit, you can gold burst her j.a b. if she's baiting said gold burst in the air, hop up and air grab her. c. if it's a late setup, earlytech sweep OMC works. you can punish her DP the same way you can normal labrys's-you just have less time to do it. Off of an oki situation you have enough time for a 5AA before getting hit by the DP. at that timing, you can do 5A AoA, 5AA DP, and 5AA 236236A/B to go through her armor just fine. AoA can be a problem because she can supercancel once she hits your armor and similar if your DP is mistimed, but the last should always work and net you a ch 2.8k or 5k+ with OMC. If it's outside of oki your best bet is just confirming a 5A and hoping DP will hit in time or going straight for 236236A/B. knowing what she can and can't do with her pressure is pretty important-her normals aren't as good as labrys', her 5aaa chain has gaps between each hit, 5B sweep has a gap, etc etc. remembering that 5C/2C can both gatling into 5B is pretty great here, giving you the same frames of recovery as a normal 5c but with 5B potentially hitting asterios! 2C at the right spacing is also great, as the recovery is crazy fast on it. 2b is pretty great since you can do a nice 50% on her with a CH, but if she's relying on IAD j.b once she sees you go for it, it's almost guarenteed too slow to use properly. her EX overhead can cancel into specials-in particular, she can chain it into itself as long as she has meter. be careful if you see it lol. her EX persona moves have armor on asterios, so only supers will break them-if you are inside of his hitbox, you can still DP to get a 'armor hit' and supercancel off of it, thankfully. her chargeup super isn't unblockable, and watch for it if you block her DP, god knows you don't want to eat 3-4k for a silly mistake. you can IK it on reaction to the slash superflash lol. play it slow and cautious at neutral, don't let her in for free, don't rush her shite down without good reason and it can be managable until bananaman comes around :V
  14. just a few updates from before- 214214C does in fact grab charged B, and mitsus who don't know better and use 6B over 5/4B for charged B vs kanji can be grabbed out of the end of it. If they're using 4B to get away though, it might not grab that well at all. Sweeping to beat her 5A is a pretty bad idea even if it does low profile it barely, as she can potentially have hit 5B instead which has crazy foot invuln, hitting kanji with a FC starter. :V A big thing to beating her pressure is to understand how her strings and sweep work. 5B is amazing for her because it sets up her damage on FC, has foot invuln and some airborne frames, and more importantly, when charged it gives a lot of + frames instead of -. If 5B is fully charged, her sweep is safe-The feint is 100% covered and ends at neutral to kanji, and charged 5c sweep is a legit blockstring. The only way you can punish that sweep is on IB as well, and if she cancels it into droit it can be more annoying to punish. :V so, yeah- uncharged b = DP the sweep or grab the feint. charged B get ready for 5B/Grab/jump b/etc after the feint sweep (if she's going for J.B, 5A can beat her jump startup frames, DP 5B, 214214c/236236A/dp [5]B, either 214C her grab attempt if ballsy or just pray and tech). Careful for troit after sweep on block as well. Try to DP the charged Bs smartly, but be careful since getting baited/etc is easily 5k+ on reaction. 236236A/B is also a decent option, 2.8k on CH and 5k+ with OMC on third hit. if they're sitting full/halfscreen away from you, crouchblocking and waiting for you to come to them, harassing with with troits/whips, best thing to do is punish each whip situationally (like 5D horizontal has a deadzone in front of her, can probably 5C it if you stay in that spacing) or whatever else, and if she mashes 2B/2A when you approach, just block 2B because there's a solid chance your grab/5A will hit during her 2B invinc frames (god why) and if she relies on 2A to poke at you while approaching, 236A beats it clean. Oh, and if you can bait the troit, stick to a spacing where it's unsafe on block or be ready to DP, I suppose!

  25. By the way, just to confirm what happened last night, what exactly happened with the invite issues for getting me into the room? I absolutely loathe making people wait on me, especially for events like these, so I'd love to know if it was actually my fault so I can fix it for next time if needed. Thanks to not being able to understand xbox live mic quality too much, all I know is: I was invited to party --> got an invite from ayashii right before i was finishing a round when most of us had arrived -> finished, accepted it, it said 'room no longer exists, invite is not valid' --> sent a message saying the invite was invalid --> and then it took like 5 min and three messages to get another invite. something on my end? or did I just not get an invite for a while?
