  1. But you were asking me why I was correcting your grammar in a place you don't care about, and you didn't say that you don't care about your grammar here. Instead you said you didn't care about this place, even if that's not what you meant. But this wouldn't have been a problem if you hadn't used poor grammar in your explanation.
  2. So first you want to annex this place for Solar, but now it's just some place that no one really cares about? EXPOSED.
  3. What are we going to do with you, Axis? Of course I knew what you were talking about, but you should have still used "Coneys" instead of "Coney's," since you were talking about multiple places, and not what was in possession of a single Coney establishment.
  4. Coney's what? Unless you're bringing bad grammar here too.
  5. Looking back to this unblockable with the gear super, I wonder if there's a way to do this in the corner, but returning Ignis before the super so she will have enough meter for another full combo after the reset. I was thinking something like (combo) -> 4D -> 5D -> 3C -> 632146C -> reset into new combo. If there's enough time to squeeze in that 5D, this could create a situation where the opponent would be forced to burst/throw out a well-timed reversal/CA if they don't want to lose the round then and there, given Relius' corner combo damage. He would have the potential to do an unblockable in this situation 2 or 3 times depending on how much meter he had going into the first combo as well as how much meter would be gained, and that should be more than enough to finish off even Tager as long as Ignis recovers enough of her gauge when she is returned in between combos.
  6. I will be. I might not get it on day 1, but I will be getting it very soon after.
  7. We might want to at least have a thread open for just the video guide specifically at first so it will be easier to sort through the info going into it and begin breaking it down in the first post, but after it's done, we could move it to the Technical Guide thread and lock the old one. I think that might make it easier for getting the video guide organized and completed, and it will also keep video guide discussion from obstructing anything in the Technical Guide/Tutorial thread.
  8. I know I saw other character forums doing a tutorial vid as sort of a group project, and it seemed like a pretty good idea. I also think that it would be a good idea to do something like that once enough of us get our hands on the Japanese release so it can hopefully be ready in time for the US release or at least soon after.
  9. It's sure been quiet in here. Anyway, since the JP release of CSE is coming up, what threads do you guys want to have up by then? I know Uri was going to make a new combo thread so the current one could become a setup/gameplay discussion thread, and I had suggested a Q&A thread. This seems like it should be all we need, but just in case, is there any other thread that anyone else can see being useful to us outside of the matchup threads (which will be made after or just at release preferably)?
  10. So you can basically special cancel it into something like Led Ley at the same time Ignis attacks? Is 214B special cancel-able or something, or does it work on all of Ignis' moves? EDIT- Nevermind, Urichinan answered it. Thanks man.
  11. Looking here, it looks like Relius can get an unblockable in after landing the gear super. A setup like that can lead to a TON of damage, especially in the corner. I can see this being a very powerful use of meter, especially when the opponent is out of bursts for the round.
  12. Judging by what I've seen with the corner combos in the vid, it seems that you want to land 236C as soon as you can confirm it since you want to limit how much scaling the combo has going in to the combo. I think combos like #12 and #13 will be our main BnB combos in the corner as of right now, as they get solid damage and lead to either a super, good oki, or returning Ignis to build her bar back up. Even though the damage was covered up in #12, I think it was in the upper 4k range but I would still like to know for sure. Also is it confirmed that the U.S./NA release of CSE is going to be in February? If that's the case, I will import it for the PS3 then just buy it again for the 360 when it gets localized.
  13. I fixed that now. Thanks for pointing it out. Also since we're talking about rearranging threads in here now, I think a Q&A thread would be really helpful, but only either after console release or right before it. I can make it unless someone else wants to, but all the first post would need would be an explanation on how to post and answer questions (bold, quoted, etc.) and maybe a list of FAQ's once once we've had some time with the game.

  15. I've been waiting to main Relius since he first made an appearance in the beginning of CS. I'm so glad ASW decided to go with him for the new character in CSE.
  16. Tomorrow I will go through this vid and post the notations (and the damage if it's clearly visible) for the combos.
  17. I've been noticing some Relius players go for a couple of quick extra blue beat hits after a Naiads ender, but what if you just slightly delayed a 2B afterwards so instead of getting a blue beat combo if they don't immediately tech, it becomes a new combo? You could (in theory) do something like 2B -> 5C/6B into a full combo to punish rolls or a delayed wake-up. You could just input the 2B -> 5C/6B, and the second hit would only come out off of a gatling from 2B, and if they neutral tech so they don't get hit, you could just throw a 6D to begin pressure again. This would give Relius very strong oki while at the same time conditioning your opponent to neutral tech all the time in fear of getting hit by another combo.
  18. Yeah, it looked like the Relius player tried to do something with 6B at the end but whiffed it. There might be more to that combo, or he was just going for an extra hit for damage. Also I saw a few Relius players following up Naiads at the end of a combo with a blue beat hit into Id -> Haas for some extra damage if they don't tech or if they try to roll.
  19. FC 2C anti-air (midscreen): (FC) 2C -> 2C -> 6C -> 214A -> jB -> jC -> j8D -> djC -> j236C -> j214B It looked like it did roughly 3.6k, and it also gives Relius enough time to summon Ignis after the initial 2C. Here's a vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxzBp3BNCRk&t=13m29s
  20. Found another combo: (confirm) -> 6B -> 6C -> 214A -> IAD -> jA -> jB -> 8D -> land -> jB -> j236C -> j214B As seen here, the confirm was jB -> jC -> 2A, and the damage was about 3.1k. It has good corner carry and a little bit better damage than the last one I posted, but it looks like it won't be used quite as much since 6B doesn't appear to have the range to make this used in every situation. It also seems to use slightly less of Ignis' meter, but I am just going by eye here so I might be mistaken.
  21. A nice midscreen combo that I have been seeing: (confirm) -> 3C -> 6D -> jump -> airdash-> jB -> jC -> j8D -> land -> jB -> djB -> j236C -> j214B I noticed that the jump then airdash after the 3C -> 6D isn't quite an IAD, and the confirm I saw was 6D -> 2B. Also it leads to about 3k midscreen. You can see the combo in this video here.
  22. Don't worry about it, bro. I'm sure we'll see someone attempt it sometime in the future anyway. That crossup unblockable looks very useful since you get a nice corner combo into oki out of it as well.
  23. Yeah, that's the part. I accidentally posted the wrong time in the link (I was adding it to the video thread). Did you happen to see it used on wakeup at all?
  24. Unblockable used in a match: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4b1qUXk1kug&t=3m06s It looked like there was plenty of time to get out of it but it worked since the Haku player must not have seen it coming. That setup looks like it has serious potential on wakeup, though.
  25. Now it's hard to say as of now how often an Astral scenario will present itself, but from what we know so far about its comboability, if conditions are met for an Astral it would be a very good option. I'm glad it's looking so practical, since I always enjoy ending the match with an Astral.
